This is a dumb question with a (most likely) obvious answer, but do you think Chris idolised Wesker during their S.T.A.R.S years? And if he did in what ways?

Only asking this because I thought in RE1R Chris's hairstyle was slightly similar to Wesker's but shorter. I have a HC that he would brush/gel it back to make look like Wesker's but sometimes the tufts of hair at the front would stick out because they weren't long enough to be brushed back and were unruly. He didn't want to grow his hair long enough for it as he doesn't like it when his hair is long but he still tried to copy Wesker. Chris had disagreements with previous superiors in the military/air force however Wesker was different, his way of doing things were more professional and was still considerate of his team, Chris admired and respected him very much because of that.

I was watching a video on YT of someone talking about which killers would be most likely/unlikely to let survivors live (lore-wise) and Wesker was in the 'most unlikely to spare survivors' category but then guy said "he's not sparing anyone, maybe Chris so he can continually be obsessed with him."

I don’t know if you’re aware since I was poking through your posts, but Wesker and Chris do actually meet in the Umbrella chronicles era. There’s a very short comic called biohazard umbrella chronicles prelude to the fall, which takes place right before the mission at the oil refinery base in Russia, and is actually said to be how both Chris, Jill, and Wesker all sort of learn/confirm it’s usage as an umbrella base. Chris and Jill go investigate a Russian village and end up running into Wesker who’s following a lead about Umbrella in the area. I think Wesker mostly shows up, monologues at them and plays around a bit before they all find out the village was like, a storage/staging place for Hunter bows and Wesker basically goes boring and dips. But also they all learn that the oil refinery nearby must be where the hunters were actually getting made bc no real machinery and stuff was in the village so that leads straight to the actual umbrella chronicles level.

That all aside I wonder if there’s any other times where Wesker and Chris randomly ran into each other over the years while independently tracking down umbrella or other bioweapon creators that we just never see.

Thank you anon!! :0 I still haven't caught up with all the lore yet as there is A LOT to catch up on but thanks for letting me know about this! ;u; I like to think they did, either brief contacts or they were in the same location without either of them knowing (although as seen in RE4R Wesker is seemingly keeping track of Chris' activities and whereabouts), or Wesker knows Chris is in the same location but leaves him be and observes him from a distance.
