I don’t know about anyone else but if I am in a relationship with a guy whose best friend committed suicide two years ago which left him in a miserable state. And I know that this best friend is the most important person in the whole wide world to my boyfriend and when said best friend returns from the dead and comes to meet my boyfriend, I’d just.. I don’t know? Be a considerate human being and try and calm my boyfriend from the visible shock and then tell him to talk to his best friend. Because I’ve seen how much he missed his best friend and how much he loves him and I know that deep down he’s happy about it. I’d ask him to go and talk to his best friend and I’d give him some space and ask him if he needs me I’ll be there because it is something big and a significant shock, but right now he should talk to his best friend (alone) because that’s what’s important right now.

What I won’t do, however, is act like my boyfriend’s overreacting and then tell him that I don’t like his moustache.
