Magical day for me @coachillinbizpark as I begin to put the finishing touches on the forthcoming Mystic Springs operation in Desert Hot Springs... gonna start with LED indoor genetics creations from my 44 yr old @ograzorgrown legacy gene pool... hoping to expand out into a mixed light greenhouse canopy before the end of the year... So I started with my family Skunk genetics back in 1978, I was given 12 female seedlings back then that I grew outdoors that summer & I was given a branch of the same seeded mother plant that the seedlings came from...it probably yielded about 500 or so seeds... those are the Skunk genetics my inbred lines are founded on, not the Amsterdam Skunk #1, these are inbred for almost 50 yrs & are the longest line of Skunk genetics I know of that I can vouch for...back in the 70s if you grew a crop of this & tried to sell it, you would be visited by a member or associate of the 81, & you would given the opportunity to pay dues for being in the market or you would be forced to concede the harvest & be warned to not try it again...you would also be asked where your source of these genetics came from...the cat eventually got out of the bag after some raids around the Santa Cruz area sent some folks scrambling & the ability to keep the Skunk phenotypes contained was rendered impossible once Skunkman Sam made it to Amsterdam with Skunk #1 seeds & cuttings, or so the story goes... the availability of the Original Family Skunk genetics became difficult to find, rather than easier, which always baffled me...it was a hard genetic to grow as it smelled up the countryside with an unmistakable terp profile that could easily lead authorities or thieves to your patch...that was why I limited my growing of it, that & the fact that it was harder to grow indoors due to the odor as well, so I kept inbreeding it out in Bolinas & up in Humboldt, but I never grew a full crop of it after 88...I was getting ready to do it up in 2018, but the damage from the fires prevented it...but I did manage to create several new phenotypes thru a cross pollination of IBL Afghanica Landraces onto 2 female skunk plants...these are the ‘Queen’ genetics, dubbed that in honor of my wife who has helped me get into the regulated market with these genetics that have been missing for so long... #QueenOfTheSpring #HighDesertQueen #KushQueen https://www.instagram.com/p/CIgqaHzho5XOozcKMo74KtnR5MFgqPPxlt5Qsg0/?igshid=gip3ugiu066

#Repost @ograzorgrown with @get_repost ・・・ Been plowing thru this week as hard as I can... it started off on Sunday night with *surprise* @monika_velvet going into labor way earlier than expected & then have the midwife arrive so we could all support the home birth only to have post partum hemorrhaging send us to the hospital just in time to save mama from bleeding out & then the struggle began to welcome our new daughter, Eva Wonder (Mae Riot) into the world while we navigated the hospital system that kinda frowned on our home birth & getting the ground back under our feet enough so we can proudly say we have a healthy mama & a healthy baby today & we left the hospital far behind now... I couldn’t have done it without my Kona beans & @lairdsuperfood along with @ommushrooms & LocalHoney & of course @coachillinbizpark silly zippy cup...
