Hello! I like how you started a blog for your experience. I have a question for you if you have time: I have a big colored rose tattoo on my neck. I want to have it removed. Is it possible to remove it? Any scar? Any side effect? Thank you^^
Hello! And sorry for the late reply... I'm glad you like the blog and found it helpful. Sure you can get it removed with no problem, depending on the laser machine the red will be difficult to remove so maybe you will have to do more sessions and you shouldn't get any scar, but if you scar keloids you may be left with some bumps. If you look carefully you can see a bit of scar on my knuckle tattoos. Hope this helps! And hope you make the choice that's best for you :).

I have a tattoo right under my left breast. It's black, just four words/17 letters, really not thick, and a year old. What laser did you use for the black part and do you recommend it? I really just want to burn this shit off of me. It's well done but I hate looking at it every day.
Yeah, i understand that feeling. I used ND Yag i think? im not sure, but i bet there are plenty of better stuff right now, i mean, this was like 4 or 5 years ago, and you know how technology works. My advise would me to cover it, or go for white ink. You can have some sessions of white ink with with a tattoo pro, and i assure you it will fade. If id doesn’t maybe you can try a cover up, or going to your local dermatologist. Hope you can get it removed, and don’t try nothing silly just to remove it fast! (ps: if the tattoo is so new, it will take longer to fade with laser, again i recommend white ink)

Hi i want to remove my tattoo it's so small and it's black, and i want to know dose it cause skin cancer now or like when I grow up?
Hi! I am no doctor, but i am pretty sure there is no way for skin cancer to develop because of a tattoo or because of the removal. Remember black ink is the easiest to remove, so if it is small and black, you should go for it! remember, easy doesn't mean fast, so you must be patient! Good luck! :)

Amazing blog! Thanks for creating this. I got a tattoo back in Jan. that I had wanted for years. While I still love the sun tattoo, I hate the actual design due to uneven borders & shitty proportions. I should have waited & gone to a top artist instead of settling for one that did other, more simple tattoos on me. BUT I completely relate to you, b/c I'm planning on getting parts/most of it removed & replaced with a design I love. Your plan working so wonderfully gives me hope! It loo
Hey, thanks! I really hope in the end you decide what really works for you, doesn't matter if its covering the actual tattoo, or removing it to cover it again! Let me know how it goes! :)

Okay! I just got my first small and simple tattoo below my ankle (kind of like on the side of my foot) and I am happy with it, but at the same time I feel like I regret it.. Is it normal to feel this way after getting a tattoo? My family is quite anti-tattoos so maybe that's why I feel weird about it! I don't think I'll get it removed but I can't stop having conflicted feelings about it :( I really like your blog, it was cool looking at your journey, and I really like your new knuckle tattoos!
Long answer! Haha :PThanks a lot! I am really happy with them. Honestly when you get a tattoo you should love it, after all is your skin, not your mom, dad or grandma's skin. But If you are not happy because you don't like how the design turned out you can always cover it with a new tattoo! (This happens, trust me. And you can go with a different tattoo artist of course) Or if it is very small and you don't like it anymore, you can have some white ink sessions and fade it. (like the last 4 sessions in my process) I would only recommend getting it removed with laser when it is really shitty and visible and makes you sad everyday, like my hands, no one can ever read what my knuckles said! One day someone told me: "is it Chinese?" That was the moment when I knew i had to do something. Haha. As you saw on my blog, this is a very tedious, painful, expensive and slow process. So If you don't like the tat because you don't like it. I recommend making a cover up, but if you don't like it because you think you disappoint someone, even if you like the design, you should give yourself some time to think about it before you make a drastic change. Remember to put yourself first over all the people I the world :)

Hey, I apologize if this is a silly question, but is tattoo removal safe? I was just wondering if it could cause skin cancer or something.
Hey, it's ok it's not silly at all. I don't think it may be a hazard for your skin, there are many health and beauty treatments made with laser, plus this things are mostly done by a real certified skin doctor, so I'm sure they won't do anything harmful to your skin. I think you just have to make sure that the one making the process on you is a real doctor and not some beauty salon or something who just got a tattoo removal machine. (Not trying to make less of this professions, just my opinion on something so delicate)

I want to remove my hand and finger tattoos. Would I be able to work with my hands after each sessions or does the area need complete rest for a week? Thanks a lot in advance, your blog is very useful
Hey, thank you for reading my blog, I'm glad you find it useful. Sure you can work with your hands, but is not recommended. After each session the fingers get very swollen, you can hardly close your fist, plus you can hurt the area because the skin is very tender, and even the slightest hit can rip open the wound in the first hours. I'm a graphic designer, and it was so hard to grab a pen or pencil, that I managed a new way for grabbing it! You can wait 2 - 3 days before you do any hard work with your hands. You should avoid anything that can left residues like sanding, or washing dishes. And always keep them clean and dry. :) You will do well! Good luck!

Thanks to all of you who have been there since the beginning, and those who came after. I really hope this site will help people to take decisions about tattoos and tattoo removal, you can tell by the pics it wasn’t fun at all. It was painful, and long, and expensive and tedious. Of course I would’ve preferred to spend those $900 in new ink! or other stuff!
Brief:
• 5 laser session - $500
• 3 white ink sessions - $240
• 1 final tattoo session - $160
No, tattoos are not permanent, but when you get one, it’s a pain in the ass to get it removed, so THINK, think about everything that involves getting a tattoo. Think about your life, think about your job, think about your skin (oh god I sound like an old lady, but hey is true!)
• Would I go through this process again? Not in a million years
• Was it worth it? Yes! there where some days that I was like, what in hell am I doing? but the results are amazing, and I am more than happy now.
• Would you recommend this? Yeah why not, anyways I think that the white ink, removed more than the laser did.
• How am I feeling right now? I’m in pain. But happy that this has come to an end.
