thinking about overriding my anthro au. keeping the basic premise but changing the designs and tweaking the story a bit (removing corny bits and making it follow my current personal au (which is a wip as well))

not sure if i can really call it an anthro au anymore either, since i'm planning on just slapping clothes and personalities onto my regular scugs, and working the iterators & ancients into it as well. hopefully . we'll see if i get that far.

but i have no idea what else i'd call it, maybe it'll come to me in a dream

Hey everyone, so I'm just now finding out that millions of Ao3 fics, mine included, are currently sitting in an AI database. I've seen a few posts up here about this already, but thought it'd be best to spread the word.

But basically, someone scraped the archive and compiled the data into a dataset that can be used to train AI. Most (if not all) works posted during/before March of this year and not restricted to "registered users only" are affected! Ao3 has filed a takedown claim, but the uploader is actively resisting this.

It seems possible to request an individual takedown of your works from the database, so this might be what I do. For now, I've locked down my works to registered Ao3 users only. It feels like too little too late and is also not my preferred choice of action, but my awareness of this situation has led me to try and take control of my works in any way I can.

Anyways, tagging all the small fandoms I'm in so more people know about this!

URGE (Otherwise known as Untitled Roblox Game/Experience) is a character driven, turn based RPG that sees you taking the perspective of a girl named Quyen Minh, as she travels through Robloxia looking for her lost brother. (As well as possibly getting caught up in stopping an evil scheme, or two.)

OBVIOUSLY kudos to games like block tales, forsaken and undertale for inspiration, although this is sort of supposed to be a love letter to the genre of rpgs in general. rpgs!!! my favorite genre!!!!
