Sophia was taking in everything that Akira was saying and processing it. So there was many other ways of affection than just hugging and or kissing, huh? That made sense now that she thought about it, because gifts and other things were often seen as nice according to studies that she was currently researching in the background. One nice thing of being an AI was that she was able to multi task like this.

Man though, the fact that it was dependent on the individual made this all the more confusing, just because that meant that she was going to have to remember the idiosyncrasies of each and every individual that she would help. This conversation was certainly getting a lot deeper than expected for what was originally something formed from international kiss day.

"I can get people stuff if they need it, or help of course, being humanity's companion. I will always help anyone that I can! I never knew that could be seen as a means of affection. Thanks! I feel like I'm learning so much." Sophia had her ice melting smile on her face now. She loved learning stuff and she was learning so much through this.

"I'm really going to be fine. It takes more than a little gunshot wound to take me down." The last thing that she wanted at this point was to have to take a break. Her revolution was important, making sure that the Phantom thieves and especially Toshiro were alright was important to her as well. Something was driving her to never give up and to never stop no matter what.

Though she had to admit, she did have a scare when she realized that she almost died.

Her lips turned to a frown and she did let off a sigh. "I'm just glad you all are doing alright. None of you really deserved to get involved in this fight." She and her rebel allies had been fighting Marie as far as she could remember. Something about that struck her as odd, but she never really thought about it. Her thoughts were on overthrowing Marie and restoring her world to how it was supposed to be.

"With that said though, I probably could go for a little bit of a snack. Some curry sounds absolutely delightful right now." Getting in some practice with her spear made her a bit hungry, admittedly. Her stomach would soon growl proving that point. All she could do was sweat drop as her own body betrayed her in her fight to not have to take a break. "Well, that decides it then."

He hadn't expected her to turn the question around to him. He'd assumed that, aside from his... outburst back when Marie brainwashed his team, he'd been able to hide his current emotional state rather well. He had a feeling Mona had seen through it, but he'd never said as much, so he thought he was in the clear.

But upon taking a second to process, he realized it was more of a general question.

"We're doing alright." He said casually. "We're kinda used to this sort of thing, as sad as that may be. We've been doing it for the last year, after all."

"And Toshiro is... honestly, handling it better than I expected. I'll admit, I didn't have much faith in the guy, but he really surprised me, stepping up like he did."

Which... only made him feel worse about himself. He was supposed to be the leader, the superhero, yet despite all his power, he'd been utterly useless in saving his friends twice now.

Still, he was trying to focus on the bright side... even if the guilt of his failures was slowly eating away at him.

"And though I admire your spirit, you should definitely take it easy for a bit. Even with healing magic, it takes a bit to heal from a bullet wound."

"Take it from a guy who's been shot more times than I can count. You wanna get back in the field? Best thing to do is rest for an hour or so."

"You look like hell Fuuka." There was no point in sugar coating it, considering everything that they had gone through. She knew that Fuuka must be feeling disconnected from herself, since that was what her darker half was trying to do. That was what the touching was all about, drawing that darkness and hatred and any dark emotions towards the surface.

What she was going to do about it to help? She wasn't sure, but that's when her darker self was finally regaining consciousness again, groaning as they pushed themselves up. "Look, I know you must feel like crap right now but you have to get out of here. I'll deal with my other self. Even if it kills me in the process, alright? I won't let it hurt you anymore."

She was doubting herself yet again--was it because of the shadow's weapon or something else? Fuuka could hear Kotone calling out to her, reassuring her. Before she could reply to her leader, Kotone's arms were around and hugging her and trying to keep her calm. Deep breaths in and out...deep breaths in and out... Fuuka's lips were trembling and she was too scared to hug Kotone back.

"Y-you..." Fuuka gulped, her voice very soft and low, as she sniffed her nose. "...you didn't fail us. I feel as if I failed you and everyone else. The disappointment...of not saving any of you--the looks of anger and the looks..." Fuuka buried her face inside the crook of Kotone's neck. It's like she could hear the voices of her friends, chewing on the back of her mind and wanting a piece of her--the anxiety was building up in her chest and made her have a harder time to breath.

"K-kotone...d-do I look okay?" Fuuka moved her head away from Kotone, wanting her leader to get a good look at her. "I don't feel good--I feel as if my heart is going to explode from the sadness, the grief, and the anxiety that's been building up inside of me for weeks."
