AJ Styles & Finn Balor [October 22nd, 2017]
WWE’s TLC: Tables, Ladders, Chairs was definitely interesting, especially with the wrench thrown in of two of the event’s top stars being taken out with illnesses. However, it was because of that illness that one of the best matches of 2017 took place. AJ Styles, who flew 18 hours from South America as a last minute replacement for Bray Wyatt, had (arguably) one of the most exciting matches of his career against Finn Balor with zero preparation, with no storyline build-up, with no reason to win other than awesome competition, and it worked. It was a fun match for fans young and old, passionate or passive. The two former Bullet Club members showed that being students of the game and giving your lifeblood to wrestling will always persevere over ridiculousness. Bravo, AJ and Finn, and thank you.

Sanity [August 19th, 2017]
Since debuting in October of 2016, the bizarre, unpredictable, unstable stable known as Sanity have created chaos wherever their unsettling faces appear. At NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III, the team were successful in procuring the NXT Tag Team Championships, when Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe ended the 200+ day reign of The Authors Of Pain. Cap that off with the fact that Nikki Cross took some miles off of Asuka’s NXT Women’s Championship reign with multiple encounters that ended in one or both women surrounded by shattered pieces of debir, and you’ve got proof that the group are a faction to fear. With Asuka relinquishing the championship, it only seems right that Cross start making her way through the division to chase the gold. With her group backing her, I wonder if anyone has a chance besides Nikki, even Ember Moon, who nearly toppled Asuka in her last title defense.
Now that the team have one of the three top prizes in NXT, with another potential reign in their crosshairs, Sanity has shown that they’re a force to be reckoned with… and they aren’t going anywhere.
