Social media is extremely crucial for communicating with individuals all around the world. It aided families, social professionals, and the government in determining information during disasters. Every family may readily contact with their relatives who live in various places, particularly those who live outside the country, thanks to social media. While social workers, it can be used to educate people about disasters. Our government, in particular, can use social media to spread or disseminate information.

We are able to inform other countries that we are suffering from hunger and the devastation of facilities caused by Yolanda by using social media. Social media is a modern-day gift that can be of great assistance if used appropriately.

Natural catastrophes are projected to become more common in the coming years, as their frequency has increased in recent years. A natural disaster is the result of a natural hazard (for example, flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, heatwaves, or landslides).

Natural disasters enhance communication because people want to contact relatives and friends in the disaster zone and get information about food, shelter, and transportation. By allowing individuals to share information and request assistance, social media has played an important role in distributing information about these tragedies. Social media is also becoming increasingly important in post-crisis recovery efforts, when infrastructure must be restored and stress management is key.

Social media cannot and should not replace current approaches to disaster management communication or existing infrastructure, but they can be utilized to supplement current systems if managed properly.

Brain

- This is the primary foundation for understanding STEM and its nature. One must maintain their brain working or else they will have difficulty understanding something. So it is always better to train and stretch your thinking powers in order to better grasp and fly to greater heights.

Plan

- To execute proper and well-manage activities or projects, plan is needed. It is much more easier to work with plan especially in the field of STEM because this strand focuses in a manner of rational and objective approach.

Project

an individual or collaborative enterprise that is carefully planned to achieve a particular aim.

- In many aspects of STEM, innovation and creation of something are fundamental elements that characterize the creativity of the strand.

Management

an individual or collaborative enterprise that is carefully planned to achieve a particular aim.

- A STEM student, like any other, must maintain good time management skills. This is especially important if deadlines are approaching and you only have a limited amount of time.

Talent

natural aptitude or skill.

- Well talent is not a thing in being a STEM student or in the STEM strand itself. Perseverance, hard work and concentration is enough to carry out the whole STEM strand.

Development

 the process of coming into existence or of creating something new or more advanced

 This word is basically talks about the development of the student after he/she takes the STEM strand. Maybe that person will become better at something or will become a better person (maturity) 

Engineering

the use of scientific principles to design and build machines, structures, and other items, including bridges, tunnels, roads, vehicles, and buildings.

- The STEM strand is what you can say the “factory that produces promising engineers". Engineers are most likely knowledgeable in the field of science and mathematics.

Technology

- Professionals or experts that specialize in the fields of electrical and mechanical engineering create today's gadgets and technology. Nowadays, STEM students are directed by technology that help in a variety of ways, such as making things easier or making their schoolwork easier.

Mathematics

 the science that is concerned with numbers and their properties, relations, and operations and with shapes in space and their structure and measurement.

- STEM is said to be a one-of-a-kind hell strand because of its agonizing yet beautiful subject. This course helps students understand complicated mathematical problems and equations, as well as apply them to real-life situations that will be useful in the future.

Science

 the pursuit and application of knowledge and understanding of the natural and social world following a systematic methodology based on evidence. 

- This subject pertains to or applies to natural sciences and formal sciences in STEM. Essentially, it consists of several types of science that students will encounter. As part of STEM, this topic included a wide range of science-related vocations such as geologist, physicist, doctor, nurse, and so on.
