Is the "diamond beam" ability like a beam that literally disintegrates everything in its path, or is it like a heat ray?🤔 A silly part of me imagines Ray can heat his coffee with that ability, and I wonder if it's possible. XD

Would Ray be able to love again if he decides to let MC go? Sometimes I think it's possible, but I also wonder if with that second chance he'd be different. Like, would he act differently? Would he be softer or more intense in his obsessive love? Things I ask myself on a typical afternoon sipping coffee and bread☕🥐👌🌟.

What would Ray do if MC were asexual? Let's say he wants a romantic relationship, but not a sexual one.🎀

What would Ray do if MC lost his memory🧠❓? And in an even more extreme situation, what would happen if his amnesia was permanent? Would he take advantage of that situation? I imagine so, but I wonder how❔❓.

Would Ray be team flesh or team blood?🤨

Team heat🔥 or team cold❄? There would be a LOT of problems if he were team heat (regardless of the scars, which are a separate factor, why I think he'd prefer colder climates to cover his scars).

If MC were the type to give his partner stuffed animals and flowers, how would Ray react?🌤💞

If MC asked Ray not to read the minds of close family members (like parents or siblings, or perhaps a very close uncle or grandparent) because he feels, in part, that his privacy is being invaded by doing so?👁‍🗨 Sometimes you have family members who are so close that they know you as much as, or even more than, you know yourself. Because of this, it can sometimes feel like reading the minds of your close family members is like invading theirs too, because that family member knows you quite well💫.

I once had the idea of ​​an OC who was basically an MC with the ability to not sleep💤. She could literally go her entire life without sleeping and she'd be totally fine⏰🤙, healthy, with no short- or long-term consequences or effects✔. Sleeping is basically just something she would do just to look normal or just to lie down⌛, all while having the energy her body stores from eating and staying hydrated. How would Ray react?

What would Ray be like if MC had a dangerous ability? We are talking about an ability that is dangerous for both others and herself, I have imagined it as an ability that makes MC absorb the negative feelings around her as a form of dark energy that can be stored, but by storing a lot of this it can make those negative feelings or thoughts of others that she has absorbed at some point mix with her own, as if they overflowed and she lost control of herself every time, becoming a beast that is carried away by those negative feelings but inside her head as if she were fighting a battle between herself and all that energy that controls her, negative feelings strengthen her, it could make her body so resistant that she could be thrown into a building and go through it with her body with barely any scratches, she could lose a limb and in less than a minute the dark energy would regenerate that limb like new or even use that energy to modify parts of her body into weapons (in the style of the symbiotes in marvel), MC would be so overwhelmed, always on the edge, between madness or sanity, Almost like a schizophrenic, tired, her treatments no longer working💣, she just wants to disappear or end her life to stop suffering from an ability that destroys her from the outside in⛓. What would Ray do? He couldn't absorb her; that's basically condemning himself to the same fate, or worse. I doubt NAHA would ever risk Ray absorbing an ability that would "taint" the path he's built for Binary Star, like the one I used as an example just now🩹.

What if… MC were only attracted to women👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩? How would Ray take it if, in this case, MC could only offer her friendship because he ultimately has no chance of being attractive to MC?💔

1. So the diamond beam when i think about it’s pretty much like Superman. He could absolutely control the heat level and how thick the beam is. It can slice or it can just heat. He could also cauterize a wound.Heat can absolutly take fingers or in Rays case, can destroy a full room of henchmen. 😐😬 that or warm up coffee.

2. He absolutely could fall in love again. Now, to kind of bring in a few points, I think that Ray will behave a little differently. He’d honestly be more unsure, he’d constantly try to prove himself over and over again until this new love interest proves to him that, “you don’t have to do that. Just be yourself.” Granted, you wouldn’t notice. It would be right out the gate, it would take a minute for you y to realize he’s being a try hard. He’d be more obsessed. Even if he agreed to not read your mind, he’d still do so because he can’t risk anything going wrong. Eventually though, after trust, love, and time. He’ll calm down.

3. That’s fine, Ray longs for the emotional connection, the person to person, heart to heart, so that’s not really a problem. Granted he’ll still want that kind of connection. The things is, by the book, asexual is the lack of sexual attraction. Which to simplify a little is when you fall in love with someone it’s not sec appeal, even more there is really a sexual drive. Doesn’t mean that it still won’t happen. The only possible difficulty is that, I think Ray is a more Sexual man, as in he somewhat has a need for that to feel connected. Granted, he won’t make you do anything and he’ll be reasonable. You’ll just have to find your rhythm.

4. Like the last ask, if that’s the case. He’ll treat it like 50 first dates. (See the last post to find a more in depth answer.) if you left him and you forgot? He’ll use it, use old videos, photos and what not to make it like you never left. Soooo he might manipulate. Just a little bit. Besides, no one else deserves you. What? Who said that? Who said that?

5. You know, I researched this a little this morning before answering, I got a very basic understanding. Honestly reminds me a little of DND. However, I think yes Ray has strength and what not but I think he’s more of a defense and plotter. So def Flesh. (I think that’s the right one, the one that doesn’t rely on offense and more strength.) Ray is a warrior of the mind!

6. He’s defiling a team cold. He laps just like having to get warm via coffee, blankets, etc. I bet even his suit had a cooling factor to keep him cool. He’s a sweaty man no doubt and in summer it’s even worse. My personally headcanons is he will sweat being outside because he’s just in the heat. Not just because of the sweater but because he’s warm bodied anyway. So he gets overheated easily. If he weren’t a hero and just a normal dude? He’d be more apt to have heatstroke. So yea. Team cold.

7. Honestly, me too, I’m giving this man all the flowers and little crochet projects I make. Stuffy? Heck yea! He’ll have to snuggle mine so they smell like him. (Whoa? What kind of obsessed freak would say that? It’s me. I’m freak.) he’ll love having them. They smell like you, and or they are from you. He loves that in general. He keeps everything you give him. Even birthday cards he had a whole drawer of them. He’s a bit sentimental.

8. Yea, he’ll try to abide by that rule you set. He understands why, and he’ll do his best to do just that. To do what you asks.

9. Listen, as long as you don’t ruin Rays sleep, (cause he doesn’t play when it comes to sleep.) he’s fine with that. Just snuggle him. Please. Maybe just massage his head, run your fingers through his hair until he falls asleep. Be a comfort if you are willing. ☺️ just lay with him till he falls asleep.

10. Yea, there is NO way the NAHA is risking Ray having that ability. Ray would fight to keep you happy. He honestly wishes that he could take Al that pain from you. Honestly, I��ve thought about this too, Ray having a MC that had a self destructive power. However mine was that MC had dreams that tell the future. (Kinda like criminally yours) except, that’s it, no other power. So the NAHA keeps her hook up to machines at night to read the dreams but the dreams start affecting her negatively, spasms, lack of sleep causing her to have mental strains. (Seeing things, extreme exhaustion, etc.) for both, he’d probably take you away. Take you to a little cabin. No people. Just you and him. No negative to take away besides his which he’ll try to be as cool as a bean.

11. In short, it is what it is. Ray will accept that, after all there are plenty fish in the sea. However if you are still friends, he’ll pros ably come to you for romantic advice you know, since you are a woman and are a friend and you would know better than he would. He’ll get over it. 😂

12. Awww, baby bear (hope you don’t mind the nick name.) I am so happy you’re asking. I’m honestly…doing alright. Been fighting for a job got hired on the spot today, going to be a server. Not the job I wanted but, the job I want isn’t available right now and I still have to make money. 😭 i actually HAVE been drinking water! I’ve been getting healthier physically but creating a little morning and night schedule for myself. Getting that B-12 and stuff. As for eating well, mmmm….we don’t gotta talk about that. 😂 I’ve been on my tuna sandwich train and blueberries/ strawberries. Not mix together obviously.

13. For the final destination, I watched the first two YEARS ago. Like when I was 14. After the first two movies it just felt like a copy paste and I didn’t like that, it also seemed like gore without plot. Just a “look how shocking this is!” However! I watched the new one and I was presently surprised. It had a good plot and tasteful gore. I had low expectations going and left feeling like I had watched a good movie. For movies personally, I’m on the “28 days later” loved the first two movies. Have seen the new one yet but, I’m excited.

That is absolutely heart breaking but, Ray is a smart man. Have you seen 50 first dates? Well if not, I recommend it. Ray would have a journal with pictures, he’ll show them to you and he’ll explain it over and over again as much as you need. Even better, he might just make a video tape introducing you to your life, to jar your memory or at least put your mind at ease.

That might be hard to deal with not gonna lie. He won’t understand it AND I kinda think that Ray is an Italian dish eating man. He loves pastas of all kinds. If you’re comparable with it he’ll try to do exposure therapy or he might just have to enjoy pasta outside the home or when you are gone. 😔 he’ll miss it terribly.

For comfort, odd to Ray of course. A concept he can’t wrap his head around. For a while d was locked in a four walled room that felt like a cage. He suffered in that cage, he struggled in the page, it hurt him being in that cage. Seeing you comfortable in a cage, he can’t get why. Don’t you feel trapped? Helpless like he did? Honestly, he might try and coax you out, he’ll try to change your comfort to being with him and not in a cage. Out of his own belief about feeling trapped.

You remember the burrito treatment from one of the previous questions from you? Yea, you are getting wrapped up, no sleep is a risk that Ray can’t take. Man loved his sleep. You. Will. Be burrito. This also goes for the next two questions. Burrito. Like I said, Ray doesn’t mess around with his sleep.

So, here is that thing…for the longest time, when I think about it. In the game we hear that Ray was not capable of being poisoned. In my mind that includes drugs, alcohol (like captain America) and meds. Honey packets after research contain drugs and such. So, even if it were accidentally put in or on purpose, it’s not going to affect him, so fear not! No need to run away! You are safe!

Heyo friends, gotta admit, nothing has been going the way I had hoped these past few days. However, I am feeling better and I am back on track for writing and such. I’m finishing up the first chapter. However, before I release it. I would like to introduce you to “The Syndicate” members that Apollo works with and a few details about them. I drew just some floating hands for now. Might of more later. The designs are semi finalized. May change things. Nothing too major.

The ring leader, Anthony. 34

A few things to note is he has…a thing for consuming blood. His deal is that he’s a top tier hunter. Heightened senses, smell, sight, sound, taste even touch is in that group. Blood is just tastes really good, give him a high in a way. An apex predator at its finest!

Yǒngyǒu, he however selected to go by Mel

Been around before the 1600s. Fought in wars against demons during the Shang Dynasty. Speaks Archaic Chinese (old Chinese) but later learned Mandarin to keep up with the time. However, he’s is only recently learning English.

Mel, during the war against demons, he was possessed. Not by one. Not two. Three. Three demons took form of a mask that he can use. When Mel uses them the demons benefit from it.

Mask: “Mask of wrath” : Fine “Mask of heart” : can see into the depths of the soul. Hurt, pain, joy, desires. “Mask of Gluttony” : sucks the years out of who ever is on the receiving end of it. Giving the life to Mel. That’s why he’s been alive for so long. Doomed to live a life of longevity.

Black hole is and experiment by none other that the NAHA. In the experiment she lost all of her color. Leaving nothing but a void with a glowing center in the middle of her chest. Where her heart would be. Her power is to absorb light into herself. With enough absorption that light can be blasted back out at a scalding 435 degrees.

Finally, Roy. 28

Roy isn’t easy to be with, several times has Ray and just about anyone else on the team almost kill him.

His power is screaming….yea. However, don’t be fooled, if he screams at the right pitch, it’s not just glass that would shatter. Brains. Heads going ka-pow!

His ears weren’t naturally elf shaped, when he was younger he had a little surgery to get them to stay in that shape. Cut off but of the ear and stitched together others. He’ll do basically about anything that’s deem cool by society.

¡Hola! Soy yo otra vez. ¿Cómo estás? Espero que estés bien. ………………………………………………🦦……………………………................... ¿Recuerdas que me dijiste que si necesitaba tu apoyo, estarías aquí? Bueno, estoy escribiendo un fanfic. La trama se desarrolla básicamente después del final del juego, donde MC escapa (aún no sé si con Doble o con Haley🤔). Ray conoce a mi personaje principal, que es ciega, con una condición que le hace ver borroso👁👮‍♂️, pero puede ver bien los colores. A pesar de esto, se desenvuelve bien y tiene una habilidad que le permite conectar sensorialmente con su entorno. "Siente" el espacio como una extensión de sí misma a través de sus otros sentidos, que se amplifican. Ambos se conocen de una manera extraña que involucra a un gatito y mi OC (su nombre es Alma💖) ayudando a Ray con una herida durante su "trabajo nocturno contra el crimen", sin que ella lo sepa porque no estaba lo suficientemente cerca para sentirlo, pero Ray estaba lo suficientemente cerca de él para notar que estaba herido, todo un malentendido XD, pero se encuentran y Ray no la mata porque ella es básicamente inofensiva y no se dio cuenta de lo que pasó^3^.

Durante la creación de la historia, he planteado que, a través de la experiencia previa de Ray con MC, esta vez no busca ser amado, al menos no románticamente. Probablemente esté deprimido☔, pero aún busca conectar con otro ser humano que lo haga sentir humano. Por eso, esta vez Ray intenta ser más paciente y no estar tan desesperado por conectar. Lo curioso son los pequeños puntos en los que ambos convergen, y que Alma es una persona que luchó durante muchos años con una enfermedad que le quitó la visión, pero ahora, más adulta, con experiencia y más sabia, vive en paz consigo misma. Parte de su sabiduría y forma de ser podrían hacer que Ray empiece a perder el miedo, a resistir, a perdonarse e incluso a mejorar para empezar a sanar, aunque sea poco a poco. Alma es una mujer que ha pasado por muchas cosas intentando compensar lo que podría disfrutar después. Hizo mucho, pero es solo ahora que siente que aún queda algo por lo que vivir; ya no piensa en eso. Me gustaría pensar que si alguien (como mi OC🌟) lo tratara como a otro ser humano, lo escuchara, lo comprendiera, pero no lo justificara, le enseñaría que lo que importa es lo que él elige ser a pesar de todo, que con paciencia y guía, puede perdonarse y redimirse, porque el perdón no siempre se trata de ser "absuelto" por la persona a la que lastimaste, sino de aprender a ser mejor, demostrando así que el arrepentimiento está ahí y que las acciones son importantes para sanar.💔

¿Qué opinas? Aún está en desarrollo, pero… quiero entender un poco mejor el personaje de Ray para integrarlo bien en la historia.

How would Ray react if his son liked fictional heroes like Batman, Flash, Iron Man, etc.?

If present-day Ray met a teenager who strangely resembled him and claimed to be his son from the future, how would he react? Given that it's true and the son has some way to prove it, like a time machine or the ability to travel to the past and future (It reminds me of Five from Umbrella Academy lol)

If MC told Ray that he prefers Ray's natural hair color, would he leave it natural? How would he prevent it from being bleached? I find it funny how NAHA would react too.

If MC somehow had a relative who was also a hero, what would Ray do when he met him? Pretending he's a hero from another country to make him more interesting.

Ray reacting to an MC with British English. He's like, he speaks English, but sometimes his British accent comes out, and it's like he suddenly can't understand what he's saying. lol.

hola, amiga/amigo mi espanol esta oxidada. 😅Lo seinto. Me encanta la historia que tienes hasta ahora. Me gusta que la historia no sea intrínsecamente romántica. En cambio, hay una acumulación de sentimientos y una mayor carga emocional. La verdad es que Ray necesita ese tipo de ayuda. A alguien que lo ayude a superarlo. Que lo ayude a aprender a perdonarse a sí mismo. Utilicé alguna traducción para esto ya que no confío completamente en mi español. 😭

Ray would take nurturing role in the story. He’d almost be like a mother. Doing things for them, taking care of them. Making sure they go to appointments and have meds if they take them. Since your M/C takes in the world around her through other people by feeling that space. He will do that. Will be that person when they need it.

Ray has never had time for those kinds of things so he would have no experience with that. However I do think he’d like tea. Painting and ceramics take time, I think those activities would make him feel…wrong. He’s too stationary. He’d feel like he has to be doing something else. He is so used to being on the move that when he’s given that much time to do something like that. It’s hard to do. Granted, I feel he could learn to like those things. He’s definitely a culinary kind of guy and making art that way. However, oddly enough, I could see him doing carving. Like some wood carving. Idk why, but that feels like it could be something he likes. It’s not stationary, he only makes small things like small animals but, the details give him something to focus on and he can walk around while he does it. In an off note, if Ray was a free man, he’d definitely be the type to have a cabin in the woods. Alone and content. Living off the land. He could be that type. (Anyway, moving on.)

Ray wouldn’t mind his son liking those things. The child can choose, honestly it might even be better that way. It always kind of weirds him out looking at toy versions of his hero self. Especially when they are chewed on.

Holy, that would be wild! Man would be in shock. He wouldn’t know what to do. The very thought that he actually managed to have a kid? That someone loved him enough to have a child with him. To love him enough to bring a child into this world. Ray also has a perception on time travel, he’d be like, “you aren’t supposed to be here.” Cause who knows what could happen with unsafe time travel.

You like his natural hair, done. Ray clearly stopped the NAHA from bleaching his hair more in recent time and years. So, he’ll just keep working at it. Once it’s long enough, he’ll cut his hair. He might even get the James Sunderland cut to get rid of that blonde for good. 😌 personally, I love the grown in roots hair look BUT, I love Rays original, default setting hair color.

Hm, Ray will be polite, this hero is your family after all. So, if he cares for you he’ll care for your family. That’s about it, plain and simple. Unless your family suck then he’ll be a bit sassy to them.

Hey hey, it has been a while I assume, I’ll take your word for it! Welcome back stranger!

1. I’ve had a little and a few thoughts about this. Ray would love it, however, it’s also a he’d do it to you too! It’s a lovely thing. It’s like replacing all thoughts bad memories with good ones. Malign those scars and bruises have new meaning that doesn’t feel so heavy!

2. His heart would melt, he’d be stunned at first. He’d stare for a long moment.

Ray: *silent for a moment in shock, it exactly sure if he heard them correctly.* “what did you say? I didn’t hear you the first time.”

Child: *getting shy.* “I wanna play heros with you daddy…”

Ray: *a huge crooked smile on his face.* “oh, um, sure.”

He wouldn’t ask the child if he called them dad/daddy incase they revoke it. 😭

3. Hm, it’s a tough thing because he’ll know you aren’t exactly genuine in your feelings. The nice thing to say would be that he’d understand and be like “hey we can just be friends if you like” but with him, it might lead to a spiral. His insecurities will grow larger and larger. “What is wrong with me?” “I showed them enough love didn’t I?” “Why am I not good enough?” “I-i was never good enough before? What would change that now?” “I’m…I’m nothing to them, that means…does that mean…I’m…nothing at all?” “Why am I so unloveable.” He had his heart set on you and it’s hard to live in a relationship that isn’t reciprocated.

hiii love your focus on ray!! it honestly warms my heart to see someone as passionate about BSH as the creator themselves. also i notice the fact you like resident evil as well! i totally see ray as the kind of guy to not be very good or pay much attention to videogames, but loves well written narratives. he might watch you play resident evil and feel engaged in the story, especially with 4 and the whole ''transforming and developing virus that infects and consumes other creatures becoming more intelligent and aggresive by the second'' such as las plagas, hed be a boomer and say the og 4 is better cause leon was ''so much more sarcastic and funnier'' than in 4re. hed also enjoy re7, maybe see a bit of steel sheriff on the way the baker family spoke to ethan?? all aggresive and stuff. also, ray in leons og outfit from 4 would look cool, his tits would suffer in that tight of a shirt tho, would probably complain about how he doesnt like the short sleeves because it makes him feel exposed.would take the leather jacket any day of the week.

I also love RE! I’ve chatted about it before briefly, he absolutely would follow the story. You let him play once, he didn’t use the ink ribbon to save, had to start over a whole hour back. 😂 never touched it again. He’d be so interested, mainly because you are but eventually it would be like reading a book for him. He’d ask questions, “wait, so the virus came from a flower in Africa?” Or “okay, so weaker has a sister? Do we see more of her or…” or “oh my sherry?! You mean that Jake and sherry don’t get married?!” He’s enthralled.

Ray defiantly identifies with Leon, and certainly would prefer the OG re4. Cause he sees himself. A sassy, heroic, stale humor man. As for the steel sheriff thing, I imagine that Ray is avoidant. When to comes to steel sheriff in the game, when we bring him up. Ray avoids talking about it but has no problem asking you about double. Sooo, he’ll try to ignore it.

I just came into contact with this game. I like the plot you wrote very much, and I also like Ray very much. Before asking this question, I also read a lot of relevant questions and answers (but not all of them). I hope no one has asked this question repeatedly.

I'm curious about how MC will react when MC cries because of the scars on Ray's body (MC feels sorry for him)?

Especially when I think that Ray has so many abilities, but he is getting older and older, what will happen to his health? When I think of this, I will cry sadly 😢 (Finally, I am using a translator, hoping that there will be no problem with grammar)

Hello new friend! To start off, I’m not sure if you are referring to the game as in my writing. I did not write or make the game. That would be concreteparisite here on tumblr. I’m just a fellow lover of the game and create content for it. If you are referring to my actually writings I appreciate that!

As an emotional person myself, I think I’d definitely cry at all of his scars. That’s means someone or something hurt him and that hurts. Ray would feel endearment. How sweet of you that his physical scars make you feel sad that he was hurt. How sweet of you to feel the weight of his scars. He’ll hold you tight, comfort you. Tell you that the scars aren’t all that bad. That he’s fine today. That’s scars don’t matter to him. (Granted he’d be lying. He is very much insecure of his scars so, he’d just be telling you that to make you feel better. However, your sweetness to them might make his heart beat a little better.)

In regards to his health, I think he will have a long while before his age actually start to show and his body starts to catch up with all the physical aspects of hero work. He’ll get older like any other person, but he’ll fall hard. I think his powers and make up of his genes, cells, and other body changes will keep him healthy for a while. He was designed that at way. Adding on to that, the NAHA definitely keep their hero’s healthy looking, medical treatments and such. The NAHA will use him until he’s used up and unable to perform. Only then, when he’s retired, and not apart of the hero world anymore will he start to decline. Definitely arthritis of all kinds, back pain, constant popping bones. His body will stop constantly changing itself to make way for the new powers because he won’t be gaining hmmm anymore. Granted he’ll be happy I think because he gets to stop. The rest. To live out the rest of his life. The way to put this simply, Ray doesn’t get to be old. Not until the NAHA says so.

Oh Ray is SASSY, and petty. I think the whole “while you were here. Playing with cats.” -Ray probably. Was a clear sassy remark and everything after that in the bathroom scene was petty. On the sassy scale, he’s definitely a solid ten, maybe even eleven. Like, man…he’s got a comment for almost everything. He’s pretty witty too. I imagine his sass is very much directed at other people. Going off on a tangent here, honestly, I could see Ray being especially sassy to other women. Especially in a relationship with you. You woke Ray up, first mistake, two, you kicked him off his bed. Final mistake. Now you are wrapped tight. Unable to move. You start whining? Guess what. Hand to cover the mouth or he’ll keep your mouth shut with his power. He’s a cranky man.

Why would you throw glass at our man? 😭 please, don’t throw glass at him. He just needs love. Not violence. He’ll probably ask you why, might even wonder, “what did he do wrong?” Did he do something wrong. If not, you are paying for that glass you broke. Take responsibility.

I'd like to know how you think Ray would react if, when she reunites with MC, she had a child with Double Vision (which I wonder if it's possible if MC were a woman and the child would be 2 years, more or less) and this was one of the reasons she ran away. What feelings would Ray have for MC's child? I imagine the child with hair like MC and Double's black eyes.

As for your question, I’m assuming you are talking about the double ending of the game where you run away with him. The canon thing I’ve understood is that Ray would have killed double or Haley on the spot when they escape with you. Ray wouldn’t let you go like that. HOWEVER, this is your story. You decide, you make the puzzles fit. I think if he saw MC again and with a two year old that looks like double it would have killed I’m inside. Now granted, it’s been two years since he’s seen you. He cares for you yes, he thinks about you sometimes but, I think he would have moved on from MC. Found someone else because there are plenty of people to love out there. Granted, he’d still be hurt. You chose someone else, you picked another person who didn’t love you like he could. He’d respect your decision though since you ‘escaped’ so to speak.

Honestly, I’ve been thinking up another MC character too who’s from another universe, cause honestly I love the idea of Ray taking a ‘dad’ role. Being a step in. When it comes to pricing Ray downs have a preference for piercings, if you streatch em out, of off it. In fact, in his mind, it’s like a ‘go against the government’ thing. Before for Ray, he got piercing because the NAHA (which is pretty much the government behind the scenes) said he couldn’t and he was like. “Yea….guess what I did~” got piercings, wanna stretch em, do it.

Oh really? You think you can just….flash him and leave him high and dry? Nah, not happening. He is literally speedy, he could even freeze you in place with his telepathy. You can try to escape sweetie but that’s not happening. Might even grip that back of your neck and pull you back if he’s close enough. Imagine if he just snagged you by your shirt, pulled you back to look at him and he’s just 😐. “Take the shirt back off…you were so brave, just take it. Take off the shirt…I can do it for you if you’d like….”

I mean, isn’t that kinda what happens? You leave, gets kidnapped, he save you and then you guys basic go on living. I would say it wasn’t exactly worked out per se in a healthy way. However, if it’s the second time you ran. He’d be frustrated but he would do everything. To get you to stay. He’d practically be begging to know why you left. Might even cry. He’s insecure. Might be a bad idea.

Ray: *voice breaking.* “Why did you leave me?”

MC: *stepping back.* “y-you’re scaring me.”

Ray: *something darkens in his gaze. A realization if you will* “No….we aren’t talking it out…not anymore. you don’t get a choice…you belong to me…you always have. From the moment I saw you. You. Have. Been. Mine.”

For Haley, I think it’s up to you. Haley comes off as a go with the flow kind of person. However at the same time they seem the more recovering bossy type. Get what I’m laying down? I guess I’m not decided, it’s a 50/50

Haley would either get upset and bite you back, or might do something petty like shed on your bed. 😭😂 if it’s just a playful thing, like a mutual playfulness then Haley might be into it. Laughing about it. If it’s just a regular moment in a random Tuesday, yea. Haley isn’t going to take that well.

Double is very much to me a ‘I can do whatever I want with your body it’s mine but you absolutely cannot do anything to me.’ He can hurt you all he wants but you hurt him? Yea that’s going to get you punished. Rip out his piercing, he’s taking your fingers. The only time he might let you hurt him is if it’s like a matching marks type of thing. You aren’t allowed to hurt him.

Welp, if you ran again and Ray doesn’t have your back this time. You are loosing those fights and probably some toes. Maybe even a whole hand. Security will be tight, you are t leaving again. He lost you once. He’s not going to let it happen again. I wouldn’t be surprised if he kept you on a chain to a wall. You will bee broken down until you can be reformed into his perfect pet. More self indulged blurbs and writing. Summer time babes, I’m still learning to get over things but that doesn’t mean I can encourage either! If you struggle with images and such, listen, easier said than done. Most people are too worried about themselves to even care what you look like in a swimsuit. You rock what you want to. 🥰

Anyway, write it didn’t read over it much. It is what it is. This is going off my, “Ray actually gives good swimsuit advice.” Head canon.

Swimsuit insecurity

Summer is pretty much here, and with the season comes swimming. With the swimming comes swimsuits. With swimsuits, there can be problems. Problems of a wide variety that can still keep someone down. Adriannas current problem was scars from a recent surgery that took place a few months ago by now. Rocking the one piece felt like they were out the window. The nasty looking scars on her upper outer though a angry pinkish red with purple undertones. So, what was the mission? Find a swimsuit combo to cover up as much as possible.

With Octavia at her boyfriend Tori’s house Adrianna didn’t really have anyone to go except for Ray. When it came to swimsuit shopping Octavia was the go to but now Ray is the fall back. Of course Adrianna assumed he wouldn’t be much help at all but at least it’s an opinion for a woman with an indecisive mind.

The swimsuits were plentiful of course, a wide array of options. As Adrianna scavenged the area Ray followed quietly behind, fingering through the fabrics but not really giving suggestions. Allowing Adrianna to pick for herself. Adrianna found a few good finds, a one piece that was green with some golden colored decorations on the straps, a black swimsuit with white seams that looked kinda vintage in which she liked, and a two piece that was black and white with floral decor and black bottoms just long enough. She hoped anyway. Time for trial and error. She ordered Ray to sit outside the dressing room and to wait for her. “You. Stay put. Right there. I’ll be fast.”

The first up was the two piece, the top had a halter top appearance with a v dip that showed just a hint of cleavage, very nice. Looks good, she thought. The bottoms were seamlessly fitting for the two pieces, and it covered up the remnants of surgery. Sometimes she honestly felt stupid, she had stretch marks and she got over that, why are the new scars so different? How did it make sense? Not that it mattered in the moment. After a Quick Look at the front, adjusting, and a turn around seeing the swimsuit from all angles she was ready. “Okay, come in.” Adrianna quickly unlocked the door. “Come in?” Ray questioned seemingly hesitant in a ‘really? You want me in there?’ Kind of way.

Adrianna sighed, “I said what I meant, I know what I said. I wouldn’t have said it if I didn’t have the intention of if u didn’t expect you to follow through.” She wasn’t annoyed, she just wanted to preface that if she says something, she doesn’t say it without thinking ...at least in this instance. “Alright.” Pushing the door open she stepped back giving him more room. His brows furrow thinking, his eyes analyzing. He hummed. “Very nice, makes your figure stand out in a nice way. The color scheme looks good with your skin tone as well but, you try on the others too.” Adrianna’s own brows furrowed looking back at him with a tilt of her head. Questioning.

His own eyes squint back at her. “What?” Her gaze and questioning look not going unnoticed. “I don’t know….you uh…you actually gave good pointers and opinions.” With a quirk of her brow he replied, “Isn’t that what I’m here for?” She paused, he was right. This is what he was here for. “I guess so, we’ll, alright. Out with you. I’m putting on the next one.

The green one piece was up next. Slipping it on it was…okay. The color didn’t feel quite right. The black swim shorts didn’t help either but, at least getting a second opinion to confirm her suspicions would be nice. Once again Adrianna opens the door. “Okay, I’m not sure I like this one, I think the color is a bit too light for me. It’s also not very flattering on the chest with the squared top.” Ray nodded in consideration. “I agree, you have a warmer olive skin tone so a darker green would be better. The gold is a nice touch though. Did it come with shorts? I don’t remember being with it.” He observed obviously knowing they didn’t. “Okay, last one. Give me a minute.”

The last one that she really fancied was up. The vintage looking swimsuit. A halter neck where instead of a dip it went up to the neck like a tank top with a string to tie at the neck. With a few adjustments and a look in the mirror, she didn’t like this one. The side boob wasn’t much like she worried about. Enough coverage but enough skin to be tantalizing and daring within her comfort zone. With a smile she swung the dressing room door back open and stepped back. “I really like this one.” She commented.

With his head cocked to the side he considered the fit. “Lose the shorts.” There was a short pause. “What?” He repeated himself without a second thought. “Lose the shorts.” The audacity! The absolute lunacy of this man! Not that he would know what she’s thinking. “No.” A direct but not unkind response. “And why not?” Should she really tell him? Why should she? It’s not like it would benefit either of them. Her moment of consideration was cut short when the dressing room door closed and locked with Ray still inside. This made Adrianna's heart rate jump a little. “What are you doing?” Even if she wanted to, Adrianna couldn’t hide the slight concern in her tone.

With an even tone Ray continued. “Lose the shorts. What are you so worried about?” Huh? Worried? “Um, I'm not worried.” He hummed a hint of challenge in his eyes. “Then lose the shorts. Unless…you have something to hide.” Man did she hate how well he read her. How does he even do it?! How is it that he precisely can tell her every thought or feeling without even saying it! Just an observant sucker. Adrianna sighed, almost defeated. He knew something was up, so why not just spill it. “I had hip surgery a few months ago. The scars are red and purple, adding on to that, they were flat at first but now they are turning into keloid scars. I…I hate it.” Ray's lip twitched as if he found something amusing. Granted he was amused. He had gotten her right where he wanted her. A confession. Not that she wouldn’t know that.

“Let me see.” He demanded making Adrianna look back up at him. “Why would I do that?” Ray smiled, “because, I asked nicely. Besides, I’ve got plenty of scars too. I show you mine, you show me yours.” He slid his sweater and long sleeve up to his elbow. Sure enough, the man was decked out in scars. Making Adrianna feel a little stupid for her own insecurity. “Hey…” his softer tone coughs her off guard. “I’m not trying to make you feel bad, I’m just trying to show you that you have nothing to worry about. Besides, I’ve got all these scars and I’m still good with the chicks.” Rolling her eyes, “barf.” She retorted but it was kinda funny. With a sigh Adrianna agreed. “Fine.”

With a tug and pull the shorts were off. “There- HEEEY!” Adrianna yelped caught off guard when Ray suddenly crouched down in front of her. He chuckled, “these three little things?” His calloused thumb brushed over the marks making her shiver. “Well, they aren’t little to me.” She snapped back trying to be calm and not let her imagination run wild. Especially since…well, their relationship was…strange. No words could really describe it. “Hmm, I guess that makes sense. Well, sweetie, being honest. I don’t think that these will ruin any of the swimsuits. Besides, people won’t care. They have their own issues. Therefore you shouldn’t care either.” Sure, he was right, the equation was simple in text but actually trying to have that mentality was hard.

She hated that he was right but was more frustrated that actually following the advice was difficult. Her thoughts are somewhat going sour. Pfft, she didn’t really need to take that emotional advice. She could figure it out on her own as usual. “Yea, I don’t think you are in any position to make those deep connections for me.” When he looked up there was a subtle shift in his demeanor, his tone playful. “And…what do I do to earn that spot on the ‘emotional support’ team?” Shaking her head she responded, “Well, I sure that-“ whatever words that were next cut short replaced with something more primal. Warmth, his lips kissing over the annoying scars. “Are you crazy?!” Adrianna hissed at him. “What are you doing?!”

Ray rested his chin on her thigh, “I think I can earn my spot on your council if I just simply change your way of thinking.” He didn’t elaborate further before his tongue glided over the three spots. A shuddering breath caught in her throat, her hands gripping his hair as his eyes still connected with her own gaze. “This…you are crazy. This is not-“ she couldn’t deny that this did feel good but, what about the other people around! There was no way she could walk out of the dressing room if anything happened. Ray chuckled. “I can replace those negative feelings with a new memory. Anytime you look at them. You’ll think of this moment instead.” A smug grin on his lips. The more she got to know Ray the more arrogant and self assured he seemed, even worse he actually was everything he says.

Getting a grip Adrianna pulled his head back a little with the leverage she had on his hair. No intention of hurting him. “That’s…very nice of you but…now is not the time or the place…please.” He nodded standing up, “I figure a squealer like you wouldn’t be able to handle it. That’s okay though. If you let me, I’ll take all those insecurities away when I take you back home. You won’t even remember why you feel bad.” A teasing smirk. “Absolutely not! Jerk, you don’t even know if I’m a squealer you freak! Get out! You are just a tease!” Her cheeks flushed as she pushed to shove him out trying. It unlocked the door at the same time. Faili went miserably. “Let me get that for you sweetie.” Great, now he’s mocking her. Peachy. Adrianna was fun to tease and make fun of. She can help but react.

Glaring dagger into his very soul, Ray unlocked the door, he had to have a final say. “Well, if you change your mind. Let me know. Oh and, that two piece I think is your best one.” Adrianna couldn’t even respond before he closed the door, locking it with his telekinesis.

Adrianna took her time getting dressed and hanging the swimsuits back up before walking out and hanging the ones she wasn't buying. She ignored Ray the entire way. At the self checkout, on the way out of the store, in the car, and even when he walked her upstairs to her apartment. Internally though, the moment was playing on repeat in her head, Ray knew that much from how loud her thoughts were. It was so funny, she had no idea that he had telepathy. He’ll probably keep it that way. at least for a while. It’s entertaining. Before leaving, Ray did the usual. Check her computer for any leaked information, check her phone and other devices. All clean. She’s been keeping her word at least.

Before he officially left he turned to her. “Really though Adrianna. Most people are too worried about how THEY look in swimsuits or anything for that matter to really care about what you look like. Besides, What are they gonna do? Point and laugh? Not likely, sweetie.” Of course. He was right. Adrianna knew that. At least it was a nice reminder.

I’m actually super shocked I was able to draw this, I…have no words. I will say I did try a different shading style which I think turned out nice. 👍 the longer I look. The worse it gets….😭

1. How would double’s behavior be with a Mc who’s very affectionate , like since childhood. Holding his hand randomly, playing with his hair, following him like a lost puppy, being close to him, etc.

2.Would Haley every match outfits with Mc if they were dating and if so, what type?

3.Imagine a Mc with a “I can fix him” mindset with Luke / Blaze

4. Do you think Miles owns action figures of Binary Star and do you think Ray would stay tf away from Miles for that reason

1. A lost puppy, that is exactly where double wants you to be. Utter and complete loyalty. To be able to use you in anyway shape and form. He could hurt but you would come crawling back to him because you are loyal. You are affectionate. He’d say things like “you know I only did that because you needed to learn right?” Or “You know I still love you right?”

You are moldable and can shaped even more into what he wants you to be. In short, you are a lost puppy and you will be trained and treated like one. Even if you don’t see the manipulation tactics, even if you fall for whatever he tells you. You are and will be used for his purpose. I mean…come on, what else are you supposed to be for him. Loyalty is a top notch thing for him, the affection is a happy little add in.

2. Matching outfits, no. Not unless you both have the same style and clothing habits. However, I do think that Haley would (going with a t-shirt example with some band name) you pick your color, and Haley would oil the color for the shirt. (An extra thing) I realized I mixed up two of my characters in the last post. I mixed up Ripely and Luke. So, in the last post I said Luke would be doubles sidekick but who I meant was Ripley. The guy that was basically hurt because he wouldn’t give away MC location.

So, let me add on for Luke, let me give an actual answer. Luke/ Blaze would definitely take a villain role in the villain Ray AU, he may even still work with Ray from time to time. However, Luke is an annoyance to Ray and the rest of “The Syndicate” Blaze is a boisterous villain, doing what he wants essentially. Blaze wouldn’t have a tight relationship with Apollo because Apollo in the villain AU becomes reclusive when he ‘quits the NAHA’.
