This is my OC/kind of self-insert Nox. They’re 25, nonbinary, and look tougher than they really are. Nox is who I wish I could be, and who I think of when I imagine myself in my favourite SciFi games or movies! Nox is brave, assertive and doesn’t have crippling anxiety like myself. 

Their eye is yellow because they lost it fighting a large predator on an alien planet, and it was replaced with a cybernetic one. They like having the colour set to yellow! 

Nox is brave, however, just like me they do not like large Moths, like at all, they don’t like hearing them flap around when they try to sleep!

I originally created Nox as a Mass Effect OC that I’d think of when I needed to calm down from a particularly anxiety filled day or when I just got overwhelmed with things, like a comfort character in a way I suppose, then they eventually turned into a kind of self insert when I started adding parts of myself into their character, such as the same hair, tattoos (ones that are on the rest of their body) and same ethnicity.

I’m trying to be productive during this mini apocalypse so I spent like 13 hours just sketching this and a few hours more colouring it and finalizing it. I’m actually pleased with it.

Attention fans of MASS EFFECT and other science fiction properties, or just detailed artwork in general…

I am now officially open for commission inquiries and orders as of today. I’m an artist who specialises in science fiction design lineart and so on, if you are looking for character art and general fanart of a favourite character etc please feel free to contact me directly today or when ever you can do so.

I have done a lot of ME fanart material in the past but can also do original material etc for those interested in that also.

WORK EXAMPLES (These are close-ups/cutouts of larger pieces)

Characteristics of my work include attention to absurd levels of detail, non-conventional/complicated design work with practicality and functionality in mind. Human, Non human, combatants and civilians etc you name it I can probably draw it!

Types of work you can purchase from me involve character design sheets be that a full representation or half or even just a portrait. Be that a single character or multiple (Extra cost applied for multi).

I can provide coloured pieces or greyscale depending on your preferences. But that colour be that complex paintwork may lead to an increase in price due to the said complexity involved in the task of rendering within such detailed lineart.

PRICING MODEL.

FULL CHARACTERS: Typical rates include anywhere form £45-50 to £100 based on work complexity and additions like colour.

HALF CHARACTER: Naturally these are potentially half the price of full work so anywhere from £25-£35 or £50 dependant again on work complexity and or colour involved.

PORTRAIT (Seen above): Not that complicated but still intensive they can range from £15 or even £50.

My currency is UK pound sterling but I can accept international payments without subject to extra cost to account for differences in transfer rates. If you purchase from the united states you pay the amount in dollars in relation to the amount in my countries currency so make sure to refer to google and check the exchange rate. Keep in mind Paypal fees should be considered to a reasonable extent.

My Paypal email will be shared to you once you have made a complete precise order via Tumblr private messaging system. The clarity in your order is key for me as it will result in work you are looking for!

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION.

Communication and updates on work progress will be constant and detailed to ensure I’m keeping to the task and delivering you the best result possible, changes can be requested during the initial stages of development.
