growing bigger

i love how little nezha has freckles! (though they’re a bit hard to see since they’re rather slight)

i don’t know if big nezha still has them though.

these are the clearest shots of big nezha’s face i could find, but he’s covered in all these flames and stuff, hard to see.

but if big nezha is based off ao bing’s model, and i don’t think ao bing has freckles, then big nezha probably doesn’t have freckles either since it looks like they have similar skin textures and some people lose their freckles as they grow older

they almost could be twins, except aobing has bigger ears that stick out, bigger nose too. they generally have a similar shape with numerous subtle differences.

also, for something that’s only three years old, he’s pretty massive. do dragons grow really fast? is there some magical component making him grow that large, or is ao bing purely chomping on plenty and plenty of food while he’s down at the ocean?

maybe that’s why li jing didn’t want ao bing at the birthday party, cause he’d hog all the food

ao bing powers

does ao bing have teleportation powers now, or is he just a super-sneaky-dragon-boy?

also, how would he know when nezha toots that friendship-summoning-shell? is that shell linked to him telepathically by magic, super-hearing, or another super sneaky trick of his?

the wikipedia page on chinese dragons:

if ao bing’s horns are like deer antlers, that means if you touch them, they could be velvety (if they’re still growing)!

and using one of the less graphic pictures i could find, that might mean he can also shed the velvet off, leaving only bone behind, once he’s old enough. (or maybe the whole horns fall off? I think in the movie they mentioned something about his horns disappearing at a certain point in time to hide his dragon-ness?)

i wonder what nezha’s body and outfit post-revival will look like.

also, what are they going to do with ao bing? he kinda died in the original and that was it, but here they have his soul. are they going to make him a new body too, or is he going to chill? is his new body gonna be out of lotus? how much lotus do u need to revive a dragon?

eggs

so in that new nezha movie, the dragon king spits out an egg. did he make the egg? did someone else make the egg and he was holding it inside? why does he lay eggs through his mouth. can ao bing spit out eggs as well, or are only certain dragons capable of egg spitting? how do these dragon eggs work. how do yoshi eggs work. why am i thinking about yoshi? can dragons rapid spit eggs at their opponents?

if the dragon king swallowed the egg, is that eating the egg, the equivalent of unbirthing, or oral incubation/mouthbrooding?

i can’t remember the scene where ao bing is born very much. did anyone need to sit on the egg, bury it, or is it a leave-the-egg-in-the-water-and-it-will-hatch-by-itself deal
