Mi contribución para el bookzine del Ruiseñor de América que organizó el @guayaquilfanzinefestoficial. Me encantó poder participar por el amor que tengo por la música de JJ y su oscuro y bastante enfermizo romance con la vida. En este caso con la cancion Mis Flores Negras basada en el poema del mismo título del poeta Colombiano Julio Flores. Llevo un par de años trabajando lentamente en una compilación ilustrada de boleros latinoamericanos que espero terminar algún dia. (Bolero Latinoamericano que por cierto es posiblemente el único género musical que escucho en realidad y con el que tengo una afinidad politica, moral y ontológica por mi alma de viejo jaja.) // My contribution to the bookzine of the Nightingale of America (love the translation of "ruiseñor" so im going to leave it like that) organized by the @ guayaquilfanzinefestoficial. I loved being able to participate because of the love I have for Julio Jaramillo's music and its dark and rather sickly romance with life. "Mis Flores Negras" was based on the poem of the same title by Colombian poet Julio Flores. I have been working slowly for a couple of years on an illustrated compilation of Latin American boleros that I hope to finish one day. (Latin American bolero that by the way is the only musical genre that I actually listen to and that has a political, moral and ontological affinity for my old soul haha).
