Sims 4 Pack Play Through

As I mentioned in my last post I have been playing with each pack in order of release. Since Werewolves came out I realized although I've had Vampires and Realm of magic game packs since release I've never actually played with the occults. It then got me thinking about the other packs I have that I may not of explored and it led me here .

Rules?

Pack Play

I don't really have many strict rules to playing with this save file because its more just for the purpose of exploring aspects of packs I never really play with.

The main packs I'm playing with are the expansion packs but for the purposes of using all the dlc I have decided when I'm playing with an expansion I can use the other dlc introduced in between each expansion for example get to work was the first expansion pack after that was get together, so any dlc that came out between get to work and get together I can use. So for my first generation I'm playing get to work but I can use outdoor retreat, luxury party, perfect patio, spa day, cool kitchen and spooky stuff. When I move on to get together, the second expansion, I can use all the previous packs plus those that come out before the next expansion introduced. Base game will always be allowed used. Aspiration , Traits, Career and Skills

A main rule I will be sticking to is any aspiration that comes out with the expansion I must complete it before I move onto the next generation. If there is no aspiration for the expansion I must choose one from the dlc that I can use in that moment and if there is no aspiration with that dlc I have to just complete a base game aspiration.

I also must use all traits in the expansion same rules as for the aspiration and if there are conflicting traits I must actively play with another sim who can use the other trait.

For skills I must complete all skills that comes with the expansion and if there are none I will choose one from packs I can use at the time.

Money

I was originally going to do rags to riches for each generation but I then decided doing the pack play through was more for fun of exploring the packs and not a challenge as such so the only money rule i have is My very first starting sim will start off with 0 simoleons but can have a fully functioning house with all required necessities to survive eg bed , kitchen and bathroom ( lets just say they inherited the home). Any luxuries such as computer, seating, mirrors, tv, pool, fireplace , artwork etc need to be bought with money earned.

The next generation can start with the amount of money that their parents ended with. eg if with get to work I end up with 17000 simoleons the the next generation can carry on with that money or however much I want to take from the parents to buy their home. Sometimes I may give myself the extra challenge of rags to riches if it fits my storyline.

Marriage, kids and aging

I want to marry someone who is either a townie or related to the pack in some way eg pack trailer sims that EA created , sims in the new worlds etc. I will be giving them a makeover if I want

For children I can have as many as I want but there must be enough children to be able to use the next packs traits.

I'm playing with both male and female sims so my heir is usually the first child who pops out. I do however want all my children to have the parents genetics so if my sim ends up in a relationship with a townie of the same gender I'm going to make it so one of them can get pregnant or make another sim pregnant . Basically no adoption ( I'm personally adopted so this is not coming from an offensive place I just purely want to see my sims with similar genetics and don't want to just play with straight sims}

For aging I'm keeping it turned off and just aging up the sims as I see fit so no rules there. I will be aging up sims that are not in my household if my sim is friends with them and I plan to keep having them as a friend.

So yeah, basically this is how I'm playing the sims 4 right now. I will be posting each generations story and any builds I create while playing each pack on here :) Hopefully someone enjoys :)

Hi Everyone 🥰

This is my first Tumblr Post so bare with me , I am still trying to figure it out . I want to share all my sims content on here (because there are not enough characters on twitter) and I want to have memories of my sims gameplay and storytelling ! I’m currently playing Not so Berry Challenge ( On Orange Gen) and I’m also doing a pack play through where I start from the first pack released and work my way through all gameplay aspects ,using build and buy and cas in order of release !
