FINALLY I DECIDED TO HAVE A TRAVEL BLOG!

Our Bangkok trip last year. 

It all started when I told the bebe that I want to travel outside SG aside from PH and Malaysia. Dahil conscious ako sa travel time and di ko trip pumunta sa beach, we decided that the nearest country that we can go is in Bangkok. Paguwi galing date I booked at Scoot. I did not experience extreme turbulence nor delayed flight at Scoot and it helps that it is also under the supervision of SQ so the customer service is superb. Pedeng pede na for a budget airline. Then I reserved a hotel at Agoda and we are all set! We started planning and creating an itinerary. Usapan namin na ako gagawa ng itinerary then sya bahala in mapping out the places I included in the itinerary. Umubra naman yung strategy namin dahil pagdating namin sa airport, alam na nya kung saan kame dapat sumakay at bababa. This is also our first time to travel as a couple. Madami din akong nalaman tungkol sa kanya tulad ng: - Ayaw nya ng nasa harap ng camera at kinukunan ng litrato pwera na lang kapag selfie kasama ko. - Mas gusto nyang kinukunan ako ng litrato. He knows that I'm awkward in front of camera tipong ang signature pose ko ay awkward na peace sign. Pero kebs sya tuloy lang at may stolen shots pa. - Never pa sya nagpamasahe, di nya trip masahe. Mas gusto nya itulog ang pagod - Alerto sya sa paligid lalo na sa panunukli ng mga tindero at tindera sa sidewalk. Case in point - muntik na akong maloko ng tindera ng pomegranate juice. Pagabot ng sukli, ilalagay ko na sana sa wallet pero bigla nya ko pinigilan at binilang nya yung sukli. Kulang pala ng 100 baht! Sabi pa nung tindera kaya kulang ng 100 kasi wala na sya 100 baht kaya bigyan na lang daw nya kame ng isa pang juice. Ayun, inaway na nya si ate girl para ibigay yung 100 baht. - Ayaw na ayaw nya yung mga taong sumisingit sa pila. Oh well, lahat naman ng Singaporean nagiging beast mode pag sinisingitan sa pila. Muntik na syang mapaaway sa isang Hongki na sumingit sa pila namin habang nagaabang ng taxi at naghanap pa sya ng witness to prove na sumingit si Hongki. - Kalmado sya kapag nasa alanganin kami. Pauwi na kame galing Asiatique at pagsakay namin ng taxi para ihatid kame sa hotel, bigla na lang kame huminto sa madilim na lugar at pinabababa kame ng driver. Naloka ako! Pasigaw na kong magtanong kung bakit pinabababa nya kame pero di kame magkaintindihan. Kalmado syang nakiusap sa driver na ibababa kame sa may bandang tulay kung san may ilaw at pumayag naman sya. Pagbaba namin, grabe pala ang trapik sa lugar kung asan yung hotel namin. - Kaya nyang maligo in 5 minutes or less then mabango pa din - Maximum time nya for shopping is 30 minutes. - Higit sa lahat, ang LAKAS TUMAWAD ni bebe sa mga tindero! Ibang klase ang haggling skills tipong super saiyan levels. Yung 400baht each na shirt, nagiging yun yung total ng pinamili nya. Pati sa mga damit ko sya na tumatawad. Pag nakita nya na matagal kong tignan yung damit sasabihin nya "dear you like that top oo?" Pag sinabi kong oo, magiging super saiyan na sya. As for tips for a smooth travel and stay in Bangkok just take note of the following: - Stick to the budget. Oo mura mamili sa BKK pero di mo naman kelangan pakyawin lahat ng paninda na tipong wala ka ng budget sa pagkain at pasalubong - Explore and enjoy the local food. From mango sticky rice at Terminal 21 to exotic friend insect at Asiatique siguradong mapapagym ka paguwi mo sa bahay sa sobrang sarap ng pagkain dito. - Sometimes skipping some places in an itinerary helps so your body can rest and recuperate. Oo gusto mo lahat puntahan at walang masayang na oras (tipong amazing race level) pero pag pagod na katawang lupa mo, di naman masama magpahinga. - Book a 1 hour massage! Sulit yun di ka magsisisi! - May pollution din sa BKK so di uubra yung jogging na laging sinasabi ni Erwann pag first time mo sa isang lugar. Pede naman na lakarin mo sa umaga at ingat lang sa mga tuktuk at kotse na dumadaan para di ka masagasaan. - Umalis ng maaga papuntang airport dahil matindi din ang trapik sa BKK. Places we visited: Malls - Villa Market, Terminal 21, The Emporium, Siam Center Bar district - Soi Cowboy Temple run - Wat Arun, Wat Pho. Wat Phra Kaew. Asiatique Flea Market (a.k.a. mala-divisoria na pamimili) - Chatuchak, Platinum Fashion Mall, Patpong Night Market Chinatown

Hello! So.. it’s been a while...

I’ve been thinking of creating a personal website but then I realised that I can just revive my tumblr account so yay!

As for my tumblr friends who have been my friends outside the platform, can we all go back here again? I miss you guys!

I will try my best.. again! to upload pictures, videos and anything in between.

Tama na, pinapahirapan ko lang sarili ko eh, kaya ko to. Pag gising ko back to normal na ulit. Ubusin ko lang tong alak tapos itulog ko na lang tapos babalik na ulit sa dati.

It's 1:43 am and I am drowing myself with alcohol after watching Always Be My Maybe. Nyeta. That movie reminded me all the things we did together, the moments we had, the stories we shared, times we had fun together. I thought I am over it.. no..I know I was over it. Ewan ko ba.. Here I am, consuming 1 bottle of wine to myself, thinking of you. Hoping that I will get over this soon and I really hope so...

One thing I learned while working here is that everyone moves on. Some maybe gone, some may stay, some may still reach out, some may care, some may wait and some will forget the past. For every step you take, for every move you make, there will people who will choose to walk away and move on. I expect less people to stay and wait. I expect that I may not see some friends anymore. Because they choose to move on. Because they choose not to care. Because they realized that we have our own lives to think about. And that is the saddest part.

After weeks of tv binge,I decided to have a break and stroll around. Bugis is the best place if you want to check cheaper finds. They have a lot in here aside from clothes, food is great, souvenirs are one of a kind and the vibe is very busy but alive. I did not even notice that I’ve been roaming around on this part only for 5 hours! I haven’t finish checking the other side where Haji Lane and National Library are located. Definitely I will go back here and bring something for home next time.

Hey There

Hello. It’s been a while since I write something here. I can’t even write every single event that happened in the past years. You see, so many things came up, a lot of chances grabbed and experiences embraced that I forgot to update on what’s going on. 

Life outside tumblr has been full of surprises and I can say, I have no regrets on anything I did. 

Oh well, though I no longer write a lot, I may come and visit here to ponder some thoughts.
