My Animation Demoreel

This video is a compilation of all the animation exercises I have created during a 4 month 2D Animation Short Course in Bayan Academy. 

I created these animations with the use of Traditional Animation methods (pencil, paper, and a light box), and Adobe Flash CS6. 

 I compiled and edited the video using Adobe After Effects CS6. 

 The music and voice over is not mine and belongs to its respective owners.

I don’t know why I posted the workshop room first even though I made this one first hahaha sorry

Here’s my favorite 3D work and also my first! It looks pretty now because I was finally able to render it after almost 2 years! (Thanks Autodesk Maya 2016)

These models are for my final animation presentation of the intensive 2-day 3D workshop I was enrolled in. Glad to say that mine was the best since I was able to make a legit-ish looking shirt animation in just 2 days! :D

I actually created this 3D model of the classroom where I first learned 3D, in a 3 day workshop some time around May of 2016 using Autodesk Maya 2008. 

At that time, Maya 2008 was the only available Maya software that’s compatible to any laptop so that’s what we used. 

The images were only rendered this year since I just recently got Autodesk Maya 2016 and mental ray!

This is one of the NURBS exercises I did! 

Notice I don’t have a knight. (It’s because it’s made using Polygon and Polygons are a hell to texture huhu)

I’ve been doing some 3D stuff lately in Autodesk Maya 2016!

Texturing is fun! (though I only know how to do that with NURBS huhu)

Here’s the same sister but when she cut her hair short almost 3 months later :D

I was having hard time finding my coloring style since my doodles usually look pretty nice already. I’m glad this turned out great after experimenting how to color with gradients.

Here’s my sister when she got her hair dyed around November of 2017.

I did a bit of experiment here! Since I don’t usually draw over my lineart, this is a first time for me to have freedom and paint freely without lineart. 

And yes, it took me a while before I was satisfied with the overall look of the hair since I wanted it to look nice.

I made this some time January of 2017 when I got my hair dyed but I never really had the time to post it because of the animation part hehe

These are just a frame of a gif-set about a day in the life of an intern. Internship is like school, but more hell because of too much work and of the long commute to work everyday :(

These images are for a vision wallpaper assignment for class about how I see myself in 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50 years.

2015:I had long hair before and I wanted to know how I would look like with short hair and if I dyed it blue. 

2016: I donated my hair to the organization that cares for children with chronic illnesses (like cancer). I hope it would be or good use :)
