This is Lucky Charm, my newest original Tie Dye Furby (1998) and I just finished assembling him back together.

I used the hydrogen peroxide method to retrobrite his faceplate and eyelashes, and it worked fabulously, even though it took 3 weeks and lots of patience.

He looks brand new omggggg!!!

Welcome, Shitake!

This is the fourth Furby that I restore, and his name is Shitake 🍄‍🟫

Since the beginning of this journey, I've aimed to get an original 1998 Church mouse Furby to be my baby and comfort plushie. I never really intended to customize this specific furby, as I honestly think their design is simply perfect. They are cute, soft, and have a very calming color scheme that remind me of watching Disney animated movies during a rainstorm while holding my favorite plushie under a blanket.

This Furby is so old that they don't even have the famous purple tag attached to their right side, as furby fakes were not even expected to exist when they were first released. His fur had mud stains, chocolate milk stains, melted rubber bands, and lots and lots of old dust. I used powdered laundry detergent (non chlorinated whitening effect) and deep moisturizing gee hair conditioner - HE IS INCREDIBLY SOFT AND FLUFFY, I'M ADDICTED PUT IT IN MY VEEEEEEINS ✨️💉

He speaks english and furbish and is COMPLETELY FUNCTIONAL, except for his narcolepsy: Shitake insists on snoring and going to sleep after just a few minutes of playtime, and won't wake up unless rebooted 💤

Meet Pearl!

This is my third ever Furby, one of the most time - and mind - consuming projects I ever started.

She needed deep cleaning and special treatment because of her white fur. Her plastic pieces, especially her eyelids, were dry and fragile. I had to paint and repaint those several times to achieve an okay-ish cover, and I opted for a mica powder layer to hide the imperfections. You can see her right eyelid is chipped, that broke my heart, and is all my fault.

This project honestly took me about a month because every step of the way, I had a few issues. The custom eyes design took about 2 weeks to get ready (props to my best friend and artists, Janaína) and I also had issues printing them; the eyelashes were either too big or too small; her eyelids where stained and very dry and she kept stinking cigarettes...

The beanie was knitted by her past owner grandma's, and I decided to keep it to honor her love and dedication towards her childhood friend.

She is a mute Snowy Furby Baby (2000), she had brown eyes and no eyelashes attached. Her design was changed several times before this post, but I wasn't satisfied at the time.
