Good Evening, I'm Okuno Kaya!

9/18 was the Hundred event! The event hall was in Saitama! Thank you to everyone who made it out despite the rain.

I sang a medley with Mayushii.

Mayushii, who plays Sakura in the anime, was singing the entire event, but she was really sparkling! Cheers♪

I'm Karen in the anime, and I stood on the stage in this black outfit with straight hair!

Thanks to all the oniisans watching over me from the audience, I was able to put on a smooth performance. Thank you so much♡

And today was the Sendai trading card meet and greet! Thanks to everyone who made it out. Did you get my signed card~?

On the way back from the event, while reading letters...

One person had written, "It was like seeing Karen really come to life!". It made me think that if the fans of the original work and Karen-lovers who had come to the event were able to see that as well, then that would truly be a great thing. That made me really happy too.

And recently I haven't just received letters about Hundred, but tons about the WUG Tour too!

Once again, as it sinks in that this year's tour has come to an end, it's become quite chilly out. It's already autumn.

My grandma always said to respect the seasons. Actually, back when the rehearsal for the tour had only just begun, she went to heaven.

About my work as a seiyuu, she told me that if things ever got tough, I could come back to Iwate anytime.

She never really said much else about it after that, but one day after she had passed on, I ran into one of the neighborhood grandmas who said to me,

"Oh~ Kaya-chan long time no see, your grandma would always tell me things like 'The anime Kaya is in starts this summer!', 'Next month!', 'Next week!', 'Tomorrow!'"

Summer... that must've been Hanayamata right? To think that she had been carefully watching over me, even watching Hanayamata!!, made me feel happy, so happy, but at the same time, I really wish I had known much sooner. Like, if only she had told me directly... lol.

It was hard to hold back the tears. Even now, I sometimes get misty-eyed.

Saying it here is, well, you know... but, Grandma, thank you. Even if I'm way too busy working I'm bound to cause some worry, so I think it'd be great to just keep on doing seiyuu work that is true to myself.

And on that note, Today I'm at my Grandpa's! ＼(^o^)／

It's like Grandpa is cheering for Otani from Nippon-Ham Fighters [baseball team] everyday! lol

I hope he continues to stay healthy and energetic for a long long time!

Having a Hacka Doll at Home (No.2: Okuno Kaya)

The latest one is episode 6♪

No.3 and... young master.

It's a pretty nice story~♡ Some people haven't seen it so I'm not going to spoil!

Episode 5 was interesting too! No.4's first appearance!! What an incredible character!

Suddenly showing up and woosh, boom, and then gone... lol Seeing Ueda-san's range of acting, I really learned a lot, yay☆

I hope No.4 shows up again~♪

What a strong character!

I especially love her "nihihi~" laugh♪

Well then, We, Hacka Doll, are featured in the 11/10 issue of Seiyuu Paradise♪♪

I had this photo taken in the summer. Everyone's photos look lovely. I can't wait for the magazine to go on sale~ it's out soon!!

But but, what's this!! Yamamoto Nozomi is going to be performing at WUG Fes on 12/12 at Makuhari Messe♡♡ Yay♪♪

At Makuhari I won't be defeated! I'll do my best!

I had "tenmusu" for lunch (Rice balls with shrimp tempura inside) and "Miso katsu and tororo" for dinner♡ (Pork cutlet with thick miso sauce, and grated yam)

I've been to Nagoya a few times for events, but last time I ate "hitsumabushi" (Grilled eel on rice)

Next time I want to try:

"misonikomi udon" (Udon noodles in miso broth) "taiwan ramen" (Ramen noodles with ground pork in a spicy broth)

I bought some boxed “misonikomi udon” as a souvenir, so I'll try making it at home♪

Nagoya was fun! I met lots of people, and it was nice to have a good chat - it's been a while!＊

Starting tomorrow, it's a long weekend!

Do you have any plans? I'm going to Taiwan♪

"Ohenro. Across the sea" in Taiwan☆

Yay! I can't believe it, Taiwan!! Seems like going on pilgrimages is a kind of culture that's not just exclusive to Japan~ "Ohenro." which got its start through events like the Tokushima Marathon and handing out towels at school....! I'm happy to say that Tokushima locals have started falling in love with the project as well *\(^o^)/* For the next 3 days, we're going to spread "Ohenro." to lots and lots of people!

I've got my passport and ticket with me so everything's going to be ok! The last time I went overseas was with WUG in Chicago, so I'm excited. It'd be nice if WUG could go overseas again too ～(*ﾟｰﾟ) Please keep cheering us on, ok!?

But lately, my eyes haven't been getting along with my contacts... I've got glasses, but the prescription isn't quite right so my vision's a bit... ( ˘•ω•˘ )

So ya, I'm gonna take lots of photos and write up a full report on the blog next week (ง ˙ω˙)ว

Look forward to it! Ahh, I have to get on the plane soon!!!

Soramaru Setlist: 1. Seikai wa Hitotsu Janai 2. Natsuiro Fighting!! 3. Natsuiro Egao de 1,2,Jump!

At the beginning of Seikai, she imitated the other members, sasuga Soramaru. Everyone was basically using yellow penlights. In the MC part she talked about how 3 years ago all of Milky Holmes performed at Cosplay Summit (but it was quite some time ago). Also she wanted to eat hitsumabushi but the line for houraiken (famous eel restaurant in Nagoya) was 2 hours long, so got takeout because she was afraid of missing the live.

After Natsuiro Fighting: Soramaru: "Have you seen a show called Love Live? As you know, I don't have any of my own songs but LL has lots so... I thought I'd pick a summer one..." Crowd: "Ohh!!??" Soramaru: "(Nico Voice)" *Crowd Turns Pink and Explodes*

Also Soramaru was really happy to see all the lovelive cosplayers outside, and commented on how there were so many people wearing schoolfes UR costumes! Speaking of costumes, her pink dress is amazingly cute! It’s two layers with darker pink sunflowers on a translucent fabric over a light pink dress, with matching pink sandals. Also, side-tail with flowers in the hair, flowery necklace too... ahhhhh, that look is “SUMMER” in a nutshell, and may well be the definitive “Natsuiro Egao” Soramaru.

The whole event itself was about 4 hours long and also super epic, but Soramaru really knows how to put on a good show. With just 3 short songs she made an unforgettable evening. It was a blast and shout out to @cowboybibimbop for letting me know about the concert. I hope to see her again soon!!! にっこにっこにー！

Tanaka: So I made the first draft arrangement of "Sugao de KISS ME” that we initially sent to WUG-chan, but we used Hirokawa [Keiichi]'s arrange for the actual recording session. If I had to say, the one who had the biggest reaction to that change was Nanamin.

Hirokawa: "faahaha it's different!" was the nice reaction she gave ^^

Tanaka: Yeah, I really do remember that "faahaha".

Just thinking about it, it’s been 2 weeks since I released my single yeah? Ahh, so much time has passed already.

Mah to tell you the truth… The first one, the first single is the most worrysome isn’t it? Like if it doesn’t sell, then what? I definitely gave that some thought.

So actually, from June there was a countdown on twitter yeah? But from the 3rd day before the release my emotions were all over the place. I would just randomly burst into tears on the way home. And at home, in front of the computer, while going “look forward to it” and stuff, I was actually crying like a baby IRL. While in the bath, I was tormented with nerves and just sank beneath the water. It was really something, let me tell you.

Well, there was definitely nervousness. And yet what could be happier, right? I mean like, for me, since I was born, though it may be a bit grandoise, since I was a child I’ve been walking hand in hand with music. To be able to put out a CD for everyone, to give presents to fans and to hold events…truly this can be nothing but happiness! And yet it’s become this anxiety!?

But when I saw all my CDs lined up in the display in the store, to commerate the release I decided to buy a copy for myself. Well, after work I had gone there with my manager yeah?

I went to Animate, but, well… I wasn’t actually noticed by anyone? I ended up buying 3 copies of the Limited Edition out of my own pocket. The CD jacket with its blue sky background, and this halo-thing around me. And so I lined up normally for the register, bought the CDs, and I also received 3 printed photos— of myself!? And yet no one noticed who I was!

And also that day, there was some sort of seiyuu event going on at Animate, with a huge line! And yet no one noticed me! My manager can confirm that I really don’t have any aura, haha. It’s nothing to be proud of but… thanks to that I was able to safely buy my own CD. Food for thought huh?

I still haven’t opened two of them hehe.
