Because I'm 24 and just found out (after years of trying and dropping out) that I REALLY wanna be a doctor and my country (thankfully) has free college (and really good quality too) but med school here takes anywhere from 7 to 9 years to complete and I was so anxious thinking its too late, im too late

But I'm feeling validated and ready to go

omg girl no ur totally fine, the only reason u see so many 19-21 y/o people in college (online n stuff) is because they post about it but if you’ve ever stepped foot on any campus at all you’ll see the age ranges

i live near a prestigious school, very low acceptance rate, very big school, and when i go on campus there’s at least 20 visibly over 30 y/os in eyeshot, it’s just typically “older” people don’t post abt how they’re in college so everyone only sees super young people n thinks it’s too late

take ur time! school is stressful and there’s absolutely no shame in taking a gap year (or 10) like ur getting an education mama!! it’s never too late to do that!!

it WASNT harsh & honestly people who use AI bc they’re too lazy to learn or do things themselves ARE dumb!!!!!! i recently found out the author of a blog i followed uses AI to help her write bc she’s inexperienced & doesn’t know how else she would learn that stuff….how about picking up a book??? ppl who use/rely on AI are the worst things to happen to art/media communities and need to b bullied out of them!! stop using AI!!!!!!!! and call it out when you see it!!!!!!!
