Phone or let alone?!
Phones and other sort of electronic media such as electronic pads and computers are great means for communication and entertainment. Their usage has rapidly been growing all across the globe across all ages and societies. However, the moot point is - are we actually using these devices for their intended purpose or are we over-using them? Think about it. An individual spends about five to six hours of his day staring at a screen, trying to find his life within those four corners. He isolates himself from the real world around him and does not explore the beautiful things around him to actually make memories that may last forever. Over-doing anything has its less attractive side. Let’s actually step out of our shells, enjoy every small moment of the real life and be a crucial and prominent part of society.

Stress
This word applies to the lives of all of us in today’s times. We all live such hectic and busy lives that by the end of the day we are completely famished and just want to jump into bed. We severely criticise everything except ourselves for our situation; our peers, teachers, friends, parents and many others. We have terrible mood swings and sometimes we even cry due to work overload. However, we fail to comprehend that the efforts we put into our work today will bring us bountiful rewards in the future. We fail to understand that if we manage our time well and keep calm, then there will be no stress. Rather than doing everything all at once, we must split-up work and also take breaks in between to divert our mind from work. Also, when we work we should put forth our best and must keep all sorts of distractions at bay. Last but not least, we must pause, realise and appreciate that our lives are beautiful :)

I wish I resided in Neverland. Nothing would ever be lost. Everything would be happy and pleasurable. You could do whatever you desired to and fulfil all your dreams. You could be the princess of your heart and rule the entire world. You could make new friends each day and cherish the presence of the others. You could float around like a cloud and view the world from the skies. You could play in beautiful gardens that would be lit up by the colourful flowers. You could eat chocolate all day long and sing songs to the delight of others. You could act, sing, dance, play and do everything that gave you satisfaction. You could sleep under the starry sky and dream of pretty things. And then I awoke! Well, all this could just be a UTOPIA!

Under the Stars
A beautiful night with shining stars in the sky and a burning bright bonfire by your side is the best feeling ever. The feeling of being surrounded by nature, the feeling of being surrounded by loved ones, the feeling of being surrounded by the warmth. Even the simplest of nights can become memorable ones if you feel right, feel positive and feel happy. Sometimes the smallest things in life mean the biggest things to you. You remember them, recall them and absolutely cherish them. This is what makes them special. This is what makes life special.

A teacher once told me, “You just think life gets better in the future years, but it actually is never perfect. You have to make it work, cause life is never deprived of problems.” This is what I have learned from my experiences. You just have to believe in yourself and move on. You have to let go things that were not meant for you. Just hold on to the rope, because if you let go, then you will be the one to fall down the mountain. Be creative, fun, enthusiastic and work for yourself. Strive for the best and work extremely hard for it. You will never get what you desire unless you push your limits. That little extra work is what boosts you to the top. Believe in miracles. The best is yet to come :)

The Man in the Boots
I glanced upon this human once, Who gave me shivers all at once.
His perfect curls made me mad, Never to know, he was not that bad.
His soulful voice sent chills down my spine, And rolled me up like a tangled twine.
I got attached to him day by day, Who knew I could love him this way.
The man in the boots is the best, He is the sweetest in the world’s nest.
Guess when he’ll meet me? And sip a cup of coffee or tea.
I guess destiny has its own way, It’ll make me reach him some way.
No one can beat him in his work, He just made his debut in Dunkirk.
He inspired me, provoked me and loved me, He made me realise, “Life is free!”
He made me ME, Well, you could guess who he could be.
The Man is the BOOTS!
I love this individual to bits and he is one of the most important persons in my life. He has a huge role in making me into who I am today. He is my mentor, inspiration and like a daily habit.

Drama Queen
“Oh! Here comes the drama queen,” were everyones words when they first saw me arrive at any place. Since childhood, my second name was ‘drama queen’. The reason behind this was that several folks thought that I expressed my views with a lot of emotions and expressions and that the smallest little thing would excite me. Even today, some of my friends say, “You have a plain face,” which according to them means that whatever mood I am going through is very clearly visible on my face. Well, I don’t know if any of that is true, but I know one thing for sure and that is, “DRAMA means life to me.” I was never much interested in it, until eight grade when I joined a new school. It was a turning point in my life. The ‘Performing Arts’ class captivated me and grabbed my attention from the very first day. It was taught by a profound teacher who could bring out the best in you and unveil a completely different character within you. You would play and learn at the same time. The teacher would make you write your own scripts, film it and perform it live in the form of monologues and dialogues. We would watch interesting movies and write reflections on them, which would deepen our understanding of the subject. The ‘class’ never felt like a ‘class’. It felt like a ‘new world’ where we could express ourselves freely with confidence. Portraying new characters and viewing their perspective of life was an enthralling experience for me. Grasping the small hacks of becoming better was unique and different. Working with seniors and peers was amazing. Most importantly, being directed under that teacher was the best experience of all. Oops or What if?
As humans, each of us is tempted into doing something that interests and captivates us. We indulge ourselves into a variety of activities, some of which turn into unforgettable memories. However, some of them do not occur in the manner we desired them to. Consequently, they become experiences that have taught us something important. Despite this, many folks fear the feeling of failure and do not opt for new chances, new opportunities. However, this is not the option these individuals must choose. This is because we were not sent here to do the same things everyday. We were sent here to explore and invade... We were sent here to live life to the fullest and to make use of each opportunity:) To do that we must have the courage to graciously accept what ever is in store for us and be willing to venture. It is a huge world and it is our call if we want to just sit and sulk or explore and build experiences. Just follow the path to which your heart directs you and you will never regret it. If you do not follow your heart, then you will neither be settled nor satisfied. You will clog up guilt within you and you will over-think about the circumstances in which you had the chance to perform an activity that grasped your attention. Instead, just go out there and try. Who knows maybe something that you endeavoured altered your life completely? “Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tip toe if you must, but take the step.” As I say it, an oops is better than a what if...

“Reading is dreaming with open eyes,” someone once said. Well, thats not true in all cases. Several folks don’t like reading because it is a tedious task for them and they would rather watch a movie. This is one set of people. Another set of people live and breathe for books and they would prefer a book over a movie. Everyone has their own perspectives and tastes, however, I would encourage you all to read because a good book can change your life. You will never be fond of reading until you discover a book of your taste. Go forth and do so because books rid you of all your worries and send you into a different world altogether. They remove the dust from your soul.

Birthdays are very special to all of us. They are days for rejoicing, relaxing and realising the true motives of our lives. The presents we receive are mediums of communicating love amongst individuals and the prayers and blessings from our elders and friends make us feel different and special. Sharp as a knife,
This world is wildlife.
Folks speak out their minds,
And the lowly are hurled behind grinds.
We tussle and toil to make a name,
But an old flame triggers our aim.
Insecurities cripple into our souls,
The only relief is those long, forlorn strolls.
For this is the story of our lives,
We are brutally slaughtered each day with several knives.
The words shot out as bullets pierce our inner strength,
We will escape from this at any length.
The sleepless nights, cloudy eyes and disheveled hair,
All remind us of their ghastly stare.
But, will we ever learn?
We do not need to return.
We deserve more and our hopes must be high,
We must bid them goodbye.

Fiddled away like a balloon, my thoughts have blown off,
But like a reminder, they ring each day and fiddle with my inner peace,
Like demons they greet me with fear of forfeiture and hopelessness,
The fear of losing my loved ones stings me,
As my heart shatters into a thousand broken mirror pieces.
The good old days have past and have left me with desire for more,
