LIVE: Sasha Keable - Servants Jazz Quarters
Tumblr media
Stepping out of her native South London and onto the backs streets of Dalston, singer/songwriter Sasha Keable took stage to an eagerly awaiting crowd, in her first sold out show. Best known for her vocals on Disclosure’s dance track ‘Voices’, the BRIT school grad slickly performed tantalising love songs from her 8- track EP Black Book, including 'Asking For More', 'You Got Me' and the popular ‘Careless Over You’. The intimate and gimmick-free night had Keable showcasing her soulful vocals over the complementary live band, who accompanied her during the short set. While the show was nothing out of the ordinary, there is no doubt that all eyes were firmly fixated on Sasha, who is evidently a natural musician with a great voice. A few more shows and she’ll be owning the stage like a true performer. Back in the studio, she’s working with the likes of Dev Hynes and Justin Parker, driving creativity into her high-anticipated album. Making a firm dent in the industry, Sasha Keable’s another Londoner to watch out for.
