the funniest thing about everyone being jealous of kuroko
is that KUROKO ACTUALLY DESERVES MOMOI HES SO GOOD TO HER ALL YOU ASSHOLES DO IS STARE AT HER BOOBS
kuroko is consistently nice and respectful towards momoi
he DOES NOT see her as a hot girl with big boobs like everyone else does, he sees her as a person, a friend who he really cares about
she obviously likes him theres no ways hes oblivious to it, but it makes no difference shes his friend first and he loves his friends
i dont think this is him dismissing her feelings, and i dont think momoi sees it that way either
they know what they are to each other and thats enough for them rn
also they spent ALOT of time together in teiko, they where the last ones
i need to rewatch the teiko episodes cause I LOVE THEM LKJHGF
theyre relationship isnt just momoi being in love with kuroko and kuroko being oblivious either its so much more than that
theyre friends first witch is my favorite thing in ships like these, momois not hiding that shes in love with him but shes not taking his friendship for granted either
if they never date i think thats fine theyre great friends! but if they do end up together a few years after graduating i think that would just be so deserved for both of them
i’ve recently watched Beyond evil (was very apprehensive, ‘cause k-drama+serial killers are too scary sometimes; but all of my friends kept recommending it! And I am glad they did! Was impressed!) and I distinctly remember thinking: ”phew, thanks all the gods I am so not into middle aged men and baby-faced beauties and even if their chemistry is off the charts, I am perfectly content with the ending and definitely do not need to read fics abt them or god forbid to draw any of them!”
…several amazing stories later… ⬆️⬆️⬆️
Because in Korean, Dong Sik does not say "pretty"; it's just "a flower." So I think the list of interpretations is endless: innocence, purity, morality, nobility, fragility, grace, dignity... Personally, Joo Won's "beauty" is the last thing that came to my mind hearing the line.
I am never getting over episode 15 Joo-won's vows in the rain for as long as I live. This man lost whatever tender loving care and emotional support that was available to him when he was just a kid after the death of his mother and his father shipped him off to a foreign land where he didn't know anyone or even the language at first. Said father then spent years brainwashing him into believing that no one would ever love or value him if he wasn't professionally useful and successful or living a "perfect" life. Said father manipulated him, lied to him, used him and degraded him in hopes of turning him into the perfect little foot soldier in his rise to the top. Then against all odds, Joo-won does meet someone who cares about him, listens to him, and values him even when he isn't professionally useful and successful or perfect. Despite all of his mistakes, Dong-sik asks for his trusts and wants his partnership. Joo-won has just begun to tentatively reach out and accept that offering of trust when he discovers that the father who had demanded success and perfection from him killed Dong-sik's sister in a reckless and selfish act of drunk driving. And not only that, but he reveals his true feelings about the son he spent years beating down into the shape of his own image - he's weak and useless just like his mother. All I can think when Joo-won walks through the gate of Dong-sik’s house is that what must have been going through his mind is "Dong-sik is going to hate me for this. The one person I've found who really sees me is going to hate me for what my father has done to him. All I can do is throw myself down at his feet and pray that he accepts my devotion." And my god does he do just that, not expecting (in my opinion) that not only is Dong-sik going to accept, he's also going to love Joo-won even harder
i was reading this one beyond evil fic where jeongje asked dongsik if he's happy right now and when dongsik answered, "he makes me so happy" while looking at juwon, this is the exact dongsik's smile that popped up in my mind :')
I watch this episode again...and the way Han Kihwan abandoned him in public and private after these issues, no wonder Juwon couldnt understand why the manyang police gang defended him instead ☹️ Juwon acted like he didnt give a fuck about his father, made fun of Kwon Hyeok for trying to get recognition from his father, but deep down he must have really wanted that too.
