And of course we also have to congratulate Okada Izou on pulling ahead and handily winning third place as well! The going was rough, but his dogged determination saw him through to the end. I'm sure the other gudagudas are proud of him.

Congratulations to Arjuna Alter on winning the first inaugural Nasuverse Meowmeow Tournament! You truly stand as a pinnacle of pathetic-yet-morally-flawed characters in all of Fatedom and beyond. We hope you enjoy the coveted Pilk Cup, yours from now until the next time someone thinks this is a good idea to vote on.
Of course, this does not diminish Emiya's role in this tournament either- he was quite the worthy opponent, giving Arjuna quite the run for his money! Really, it was *close* right up til the bell rang.

Three cheers all around!
Finals: Arjuna Alter vs. Kiritsugu Emiya

I would like to point out that Kirigetsu is the POOREST little meowmeow we have, not only did he constantly lose everything he held dear in chasing his dream but he fucked up at least two other lives just by being their parent. This isn't even to talk about the mother figure he killed the Dad he killed, or Shirley.
Honestly, the only one who came out of that disaster well enough may have been Tiaga? Kirigetsu is a mess, he is five pounds sopping wet meowing at the door in the most pitiful voice.
At least Arjuna got to be God for a while even if he found nothing but misery in the role.

Round 3:
and with that, the quarterfinals are over! we're down to just four contestants now, but the best matches of the tournament are just getting underway!
over in ring 1 we have the manslayer Okada Izou vs. the godeater Arjuna Alter! one of these mighty opponents has punched far above his weight time and again to make it this far, and the other- has puked on the floor again. somebody bring in a mop, please!
and in ring two we have the cage match of the century- the alpha vs. the omega! the man who cucked king arthur so hard he ended a country vs. a man cucked so hard by king arthur it started a franchise! Lancelot vs. Kiritsugu Emiya!
the polls will be up shortly- and then, may the most pathetic yet evil man win!
and with Thug Firsts out of the way, it's time for the tourney proper! thankfully the rounds are small enough that we'll do all of them at the same time- stay tuned for the eighth-finals!
#meowmeow tournament#i know fate/stay night is the start of the franchise not fate/zero but hush#fate zero is a prequel so it's more the start than fsn is in-universe

ROUND 2:
moving into the quarterfinals, we've got plenty of interesting bouts on the horizon: dogs vs bugs, kind-of dogs vs kind-of cats, and even cats vs. high school girls.
while we get the quarterfinals set up, we'd like to give a special meowmeow shoutout to Kiritsugu Emiya for being the least voted-for winner of the last round. here's hoping he can keep that energy up going into the next round.
as a reminder, all forms of propaganda are 100% allowed and encouraged, so make sure to cheer for your favorite meowmeow!
