One shape and three materials in four objects

This line of plant pot, ceiling lamp, table lamp and speaker is called New Mexico. It is a creation of the NirMeiri Design Studio. The collection is the product of the investigation of shapes and materiality and the tension between the domesticated and the untamed, hand craft and industrialism. The main parts of all products are ready made clay pots, a 3D-printed and a wooden shape.

The design studio was found by the Industrial Designer Nir Meiri and is based in London. They follow an unordinary approach to everyday objects and carefully select the materials they work with to play with the tension between domesticated and the untamed.
