I can’t deny it anymore…

I’m warming up to kairin…cause omg??? Why do they fit so well together???

Like kairin kinda goes hard????

The potentiallll?????. They both play for love?!?! And like yk how kaiser was the only one to stop Rin in his flow ( let’s be so fr isagi would never have won against Rin if kaiser wasn’t their cause all isagi did was reap the rewards wich is commendable like that’s amazing in its own right) and Rin litteraly stopped the Kaiser impact???? Like if we didn’t focus on Isagi’s narration and them mentioning Isagi I just re read the match and it’s Rin and Kaiser chasing eachother with Isagi their being like a middle checkpoint their centered around???? Sooo….omg my rinisagi shipper self would hit me…

like. rin is the definition of repressed trauma-fueled ambition. all cold perfectionism and bitterness and that deep fear of being second-best again.

kaiser on the other hand? unhinged confidence masking his own insecurities. performs arrogance so loudly you almost miss the cracks underneath.

they’re both brilliant, obsessive, and incredibly lonely—just in opposite fonts.

rin doesn’t open up. kaiser doesn’t shut up.

rin pushes people away. kaiser pulls them in just to see if they’ll stay.

rin wants to be the best to prove he’s not his brother’s shadow. kaiser already is the best ( yk gen11?? )and has no idea who he is outside that title.( litterally said he’d be dead in a ditch somewhere without football??) But I feel like they could change the way the other thinks and sees life and the world in general.

they’d ruin each other. they’d understand each other. they’d be terrified of how much they see in each other and how different the other is simultaneously…

and that’s the point. they’re not meant to be safe. they’re meant to be explosive by that I mean like in my Mind their like break fate. break the fucking lukewarm destiny’s the world set for them all just to have eachother

it’s not “do they go well together?”

it’s “what happens when someone finally sees them for who they are, and doesn’t look away?”

or “ what if someone stays ?? Someone who gets me??” Ofc their stubborn as hell so it would deff be slowburn enemies / rivals to whatever they turn out to be
