BIGBOYS SONG 2

Hey hey hey! sorry for the rather long notice. I was really really busy these past few weeks so i wasn't able to work on big boys that much. but here's song 2! ik nobody asking for these but i'm just sharing them for the sake of the art.

BigBoys: Song #2 “Is this right enough? / Take your shot!”

IN. ERI’S HOUSE

GALE:

“I’ve also been eyeing you for quite a while Bea… You have enamored me quite a bit”

BEA (VO):

“OH #%@&... Is this what they were talking about? Is this where I can truly become a proper woman?”

NARRATOR:

“A quick recap… Bea has entered this band as a bassist. Little does she know, this band is hiding a secret! Turns out one of the members, Gale Blanco has the power to turn into a Golden Fighter! I also do not know what that is… Bea also has a crush on this dude and… what's this? He shares the same feelings as her?!?!”

BEA: “I mean, I’ve liked you ever since we started our introductions like 2 months ago…”

GALE:

“I’ve liked you since we first talked, when you were trying to get into this band.”

BEA (VO): “Should I shoot my shot now? Should I do the first move? SHOULD I-”

GALE: “Would you like to go out with me sometime?”

BEA: “Uh…”

IN. SHABBY RESTAURANT

Rapid cut to restaurant

GALE: “Sorry I couldn’t take you somewhere fancy…”

BEA:

“Oh no it’s okay… I much prefer it like this.”

BEA (VO):

“In the end, he was the one who took the shot…”

GALE: “So… Let’s try to have a little small talk… Do you have any questions about me? I’ll also ask you some questions about you.”

BEA:

“Umm… Let’s see… What was that belt thing that came out of your pocket and strapped around your waist?”

GALE:

“And here I was thinking about how my day was… It’s the Teller Machine Driver. It takes a unique credit card that only my dad’s company can produce. It’s an expensive monster to feed, each fight could cost around $500,000 if I’m not careful…”

BEA (VO):

“He’s so dreamy!”

NARRATOR:

“Bea? Bea? Are you even listening?”

GALE:

“So, that’s my end. Time to ask you some questions… Have you always lived alone?”

BEA:

“Yes…”

GALE: “Have you dated anyone?”

BEA:

“One dude, back in high school. Honestly that’s the only memory I have of my high school days.”

GALE:

“How did he leave you?”

BEA:

“He said he wasn’t ready and said I deserve better, so he left on his own accord”

GALE:

“Damn… that’s odd. Okay, next question… Do you prefer flowers as gifts or chocolates?”

BEA: “I’m vegan, but I also don’t like flowers as gifts…”

GALE: “Vegan chocolate exists…”

BEA:

“Really?”

GALE:

“Chocolates are naturally vegan… Except for milk chocolate but that can also be replaced with vegan options…”

BEA:

“Ah! You learn something everyday…”

GALE:

“Okay, okay, last question. Has anyone ever told you you’re pretty?”

BEA: “Not yet…”

GALE: “You’re pretty.”

BEA (VO):

“DUDE… THAT’S SMOOTH!!!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!!”

GALE:

“You are a very pretty woman.”

WAITER:

“Hello, sorry to bother the both of you but your food is ready.”

GALE:

“Oh! Well, go ahead and serve them, oh kind sir.”

BEA (VO): “He’s kind too… He’s totally my type! I’m so glad right now…”

They eat their dinner

BEA: “Say Gale, I have one more question.”

GALE:

“Go ahead.”

BEA: “Who was that Natalie girl?”

GALE:

“Natalie Gridman. I used to date her 7 months ago, but it ended pretty quickly. Her powers were also cool. BUt not as cool as you, Bea.”

BEA:

“That’s interesting”

BEA (VO): “He hangs around dangerous women… I wonder if I’ll turn up like them…”

MIND SEQUENCE:

*shows Bea walking on dead bodies with lasers coming out of her eyes.”

BEA (VO): “Probably not…”

GALE:

“She's not as pretty as you though, or as cool, or as kind, or as cute…”

BEA:

“Thanks Gale… I think you're cool too!”

They finish their dinner and Gale brings her to her apartment complex.

GALE: “Hey listen, I know we’re not doing anymore questions but I got one more.”

BEA:

“Alright! Ask away.”

GALE: “What’s your apartment number?”

BEA: “71.”

GALE:

“71… Alright! Now I know where you live. Thanks for the time Bea! See you next band practice…”

Car drives away

BEA: “Bye… Gale…”

She enters her apartment

BEA:

“The next practice is in-”

Sudden cut to Eri’s house

IN. ERI’S HOUSE

ERI:

“REMY! Have you not washed our dishes yet?”

REMY: “Sorry Eri, I’ll go do them now…”

BEA:

“You guys live together?”

ERI:

“Remy’s currently looking for an apartment to live in, he’s got the money, the job, and the will to live by himself. I can kind of tell he’s sick of living together with me.”

REMY:

“Yes I am.”

ERI:

“Anyways, Gale, have you finished that song we’ve been working on?”

BEA: “That song we performed a few days ago wasn’t new?”

ERI:

“Yeah! It has existed for like 3 months now.”

GALE: “It’s almost there, it’ll be stage ready in no time.”

REMY: “Speaking of stage, you sure those 5 OF HEARTS freaks won’t appear again?”

GALE:

“No they probably will, so I’m also bringing this with me.”

REMY:

“You always bring that with you at all times.”

GALE:

“Haha… yeah.”

REMY:

“Bea, can you come here for a quick second?”

ERI:

“Are you asking for help with those dishes?”

REMY: “Hell no!”

Bea approaches Remy

REMY: “How are you feeling with the band so far?”

BEA: “I feel super welcomed!”

REMY:

“Great… I just wanted to make sure since the last bassist that entered here left on his own since he didn’t feel like he belonged here. He was super mad at me for some reason.”

ERI:

“Is this about the last bassist?”

REMY: “AAAH!!! Eri! Don’t just sneak up on people like that!”

ERI: “See our little Remy here, he was kind of a dick back then. He did not listen to any directions coming from me or Gale. He deliberately played off beat in some performances. And he specifically had some troubles with the last bassist.”

REMY:

“That… kind of happened yea… But the ‘playing deliberately offbeat’? Not true!”

ERI:

“Oh really? But still, it wasn’t for ‘some reason’, I hope you understand that Remy…”

BEA (VO):

“Remy seems like he’s changed though, he seems a lot more timid, calm, and funny.”

GALE:

“I hope I didn’t miss any important story beats.”

ERI:

“We were just talking about the last bassist.”

GALE:

“Ahhh… Well, that one.”

BEA (VO): “Is he hiding something?”

GALE: “Welp, I think the song is near its completion. This will have some words from my mother tongue, Tagalog. Are you guys okay with that?”

BEA:

“I’d love that! My family's actually partly Filipino!”

REMY:

“Really?”

BEA: “Yea!”

NARRATOR:

“Her family has no Filipino blood, she was born in Michigan.”

GALE:

“Sorry this band practice wasn’t much of anything guys… I just wanted to discuss the song and our next performance…”

ERI:

“Isn’t that next month?”

REMY:

“Better to discuss now than later, I wouldn’t want it to sound like #&!@.”

ERI:

“You do have a point, Remy.”

BEA:

“Hehe, nice seeing you take things a bit more seriously Remy.”

REMY:

“Thanks Bea, I just want to have fun in this band y’know…”

GALE:

“stares at Remy weirdly… Yeah, it’s cool you’re doing that Remy.”

BEA (VO):

“He’s been looking at Remy weirdly… Is anything alright with him?”

Bea and Gale both leave Eri’s house later on. They both enter Gale’s car

IN. GALE’S CAR

BEA:

“Hey Gale, is anything bothering you?”

GALE: “With what?”

BEA:

“Maybe with the band? Or with Remy?”

GALE: “What? Me? Having beef with Remy? No… I’ve known the dude since college, we are basically great friends. Also, I’m fine Bea, thanks for worrying about me.”

BEA:

“Glad to hear it Gale…”

BEA (VO):

“I’ve finally gotten what I’ve been wanting for a while. If there truly is some god up there on down here, I thank you.”

NARRATOR: “I personally think this relationship is smooth sailing! Seeing the entire band happy with each other now truly makes my heart soothe. Next up on Song #3, they finally get to perform their song… Will there be a roadblock waiting for them in the end? Tune in next week to find out!”

They pass by her apartment

BEA:

“Wait, Gale, that was my apartment…”

GALE:

“I know, I’m taking you somewhere else.”

NARRATOR: “The Song’s not done yet? What are they up to…”

BEA (VO):

“HOLY $*&@!!! Is he taking me to his home? Or maybe somewhere else? Like a hotel or something? OH MY GOD”

IN. GALE’S HOME

They end up in his home, rather far away from her apartment

GALE:

“This is where I live… Do you want some coffee? Maybe some tea?”

BEA:

“Ah sure… Just add some cream please.”

Gale hands her the coffee he prepared for her. They both have a chat over some coffee.

BEA:

“Wow… This is a pretty big house…”

GALE:

“This is the smallest my dad could provide me haha…”

BEA (VO):

looks back “I WISH I HAD RICH PARENTS…”

BEA:

“Ah… ahem… why’d you bring me here?”

GALE: “I dunno, I just wanted to talk to you a lot more… And look at your pretty face a lot more… Just the two of us…”

BEA: “I mean it has been just a week since we’ve gone dating…”

GALE:

“You underestimate the human capability of forming a bond…”

BEA:

“Heh, I did not understand a single word you just said.”

GALE:

“What I meant was…”

Gale puts down his mug

GALE:

“We should solidify our relationship a bit more.”

BEA (VO):

“OKAY UMM… WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING? ARE WE DOING IT OR NOT? I’VE BEEN EXPECTING IT BUT THIS FAST?”

NARRATOR:

“BEA! You can’t swear in this script. Oh wait, she can’t hear me.”

Gale approaches Bea, he starts to get closer, and closer, until their eyes finally lock on to each other.

BEA:

“Go ahead.”

GALE:

“Huh?”

BEA:

“Go ahead, Gale.”

GALE:

“Alright then.”

BEA (VO):

“His lips are soft. His arms are caring, yet tough. This is what I’ve been yearning for…”

they make out lol we had to cut out a significant amount of this cuz if we allow all this, we’d bump our age rating – writing staff

IN. GALE’S BEDROOM

Bea wakes up in the middle of the night to see Gale dressing up

GALE:

“You should stay here for a bit… It’s horribly cold outside.”

BEA: “Mmm”

GALE:

“Hehe, you are cute. Like, horribly cute.”

BEA:

“Hehe, mmm”

BEA (VO):

“We just made out, it felt, it felt, like something.”

NARRATOR:

“Okay, I think the Song’s finally over. That was WAY overdue and uncomfortable… AHEM, as I said, Next up on Song #3, they finally get to perform their song… Will there be a roadblock waiting for them in the end? Tune in next week to find out!”

OUT. BEA’S APARTMENT, MORNING

NARRATOR:

“IT’S STILL NOT OVER???”

GALE:

“See you next time okay”

BEA:

“Okay Gale, Thanks for having me!”

BEA (VO):

“We actually made out, we’re an actual couple now… That’s hard to believe but our bond is as solid as it could be.”

Bea approaches her room

BEA:

“Huh? Why won’t the door unlock?”

She’s scrambling her bag to look for her phone. She then calls her landlord.

BEA:

“Hello? HUH?! I’VE BEEN KICKED OUT?!?”

NARRATOR:

“Our first roadblock has hit our beloved Bea.”

CREATOR NOTES:

That's all I wrote! Very "mellow" song over all... I don't think this Gale dude is a great dude at all.

With the whole "Bea as a dude" thing, it could work out, but I'd want her to be more of a person who does not know how to be a person, being fully taken advantage of by a lot of people she talks to.

"GOLDEN" FIGHTER GALE NOW HAS A DESIGN. yeahhh he isnt golden as i kind of want to "bank" (hehe get it) on his money theme. i might change this design soon. maybe its colors.

notes:

i took quite a bit of inspiration from kamen rider gatack but also with kamen rider ooo gatakiriba form. also some slight inspiration from faiz. the belt takes heavy inspiration from zein and zero one.

some references.

the numbers on his credit card signify something

"05092010", this is a date, kamen rider ooo's first epidode, september 5, 2010. the "000" right next to it is just OOO.

"KWGT" is just "くわがた (kuwagata)" without the vowels. kuwagata means stag beetle in japanese.

his design is primarily based off of the golden stag beetle

Hello everyone! Naviiee here. I think its high time to bring back this account for blogs and updates regarding this original write-up called "BigBoys (working title)"! I'm currently working on this on my free time and the draft you're about to see is in script form so I hope you enjoy!

IN. BEA’S APARTMENT COMPLEX - MORNING

Sun glare hits Bea Landers’ eye. She rises up from bed

BEA LANDERS: “Room 71, keys with me, socks are on, bass ready, it’s time to go now I think.”

NARRATOR: “This is Miss Bea Landers, a recently graduated college student fresh off the hooks and found a job she’s always wanted, be a band member.”

Camera pans to multiple angles of her crossing the street with her stuff

NARRATOR: “She’s always lived life by herself, she’s so calm and collected she’s pretty much forgotten most of her past life.”

She arrives to the studio

IN. STUDIO.

Band is setting up their instruments. Bea Landers is setting up her bass, Gale Blanco is setting up his guitar, Remy Williams is setting up the drums, and Eri Takeshi is setting up her keyboard.

ERI: “So so happy to finally have you here Bea!”

Applause from the band

BEA: “Thank you everyone, I’m happy to have you guys accept me as your bassist!”

Bea bows down in an act of respect

REMY: “Dude what are you? Japanese?”

Room bursts with laughter

BEA: “Ah! Kinda…”

NARRATOR: “She isn’t actually Japanese, nor is her family.”

GALE: “Alright, since we’ve finally found the bassist we’ve been looking for, how about we introduce ourselves?”

Band agrees, Bea just looks at the three of them with a gleaming look on her face

ERI: “Hello Bea! My name is Eri Takeshi! I’m this band’s keyboardist! You can talk to me about whatever’s happening in your life!”

REMY: “I’m Remy Williams, I’m this band’s drummer, and I like video games and movies, my favorite is probably the first Alien movie. I play a bit of Pokémon too.”

Bea then glances at Gale with a smile

GALE: “Hi there, I’m Gale, I’m this band’s guitarist.”

BEA (VO): “Wow… He’s pretty cool, his smooth hair, the calm clothes he’s wearing, he’s totally my type!”

BEA: “Hello everyone! Um… I’m Bea Landers, I am your bassist!”

REMY: “Dude you’ve already told us your name…”

BEA: “But I don't want to ruin the flow!”

ERI: “You’re pretty funny Bea, you should replace the role of the band clown since Remy sucks at doing that job.”

REMY: “When was I the band clown?”

GALE: “Guys, guys. Calm down for a bit. Let’s give a decent environment for our little Bea here.”

Banter then subsides.

Much later on we then move to a discussion that they have together as a band, with Bea in the discussion.

GALE: “Y’know this band name discussion is really getting to my head.”

REMY: “I told you we should’ve gone for Good Morning, Sleeping Lions!”

ERI: “That’s too long, idiot!”

GALE: “Eri’s right, it seems far too long for people to remember. How about you Bea? Any suggestions?”

BEA: “I do have one, It’s -”

IN. BACKSTAGE

Rapid cut to a discussion with the stage producers.

GALE: “BigBoys. B-I-G-B-O-Y-S. No spaces, the B’s are capitalized.”

REMY: “I still think we should have done Good Morning, Sleeping Lions…”

ERI: “Start your own band then…”

BEA: “Now’s not the right time for fighting, we’ve got a performance to do…”

REMY: “Never knew you had that in you too Bea! Also, I’m mad impressed! You were in this band 2 months ago and now you’re performance ready!”

GALE: “I knew she was performance ready when I talked to her”

BEA (VO): Looks back “GOD HE'S SO COOL”

BEA: “Thanks Gale…”

STAGE ANNOUNCER: “And now I welcome to the stage, BigBoys! Spelled with no spaces and capitalized B’s”

GALE: “That’s our cue! Go!”

IN. STAGE

GALE: “Hello everyone! We are BigBoys, we are here to sing a few songs for you guys and, uhh…, yeah, hit it.”

REMY: “1, 2, 3, 4!”

GALE:

“I saw the reflection of my face in your eyes

I don't look fine

but you insist me with a smile”

Bea takes a few glances at Gale.

BEA (VO): “I wish he could get to see my face with a smile”

Song finishes with a lick coming from Bea, crowd applauses.

UNKNOWN VOICE: “You won’t be able to do that, Bea.”

BEA: “Huh?”

An ominous female figure walks out of the shadows

UNKNOWN WOMAN: “I will make you realize what you’re doing is absolutely wrong!”

The unknown woman snaps back at Bea with long purple whips that resemble rope, they’re coming straight out of her dress

PURPLE ROPE LADY: “Your feelings will always be wrong, because he isn’t for you!”

BEA: “Wha-? You know?”

Bea dodges an attack but still gets blown away by the explosion coming from her whip

As the crowd escapes Gale hides in the crowd and pulls out a strange object in his pocket

GALE: “This can’t be helped then…”

The strange object grows bigger and wraps around his waist

THE STRANGE BELT THING: “TELLER MACHINE!!!”

GALE: “GOD WHEN WILL YOU BE QUIET?!?!”

The crowd stops and steps away to reveal Gale with the strange device wrapped around his waist

GALE: “Uhh… Hi Bea! Hi Natalie…”

The crowd shifts their focus onto both Bea and Natalie who are now on the stage fighting, Natalie has Bea wrapped around with her purple ropes

NATALIE: “Oh!… Gale… Great seeing you here… hehe”

BEA: “Uhh I don’t want to interrupt the reunion but can you please let me go?”

NATALIE: “NO! I want you to see your very own mistakes! I want you to stay away from that man you’re thinking about!”

BEA: “How do you know who I’m thinking about?”

NATALIE: “Our group, the 5 OF HEARTS, know every single move you make, even the ones you don’t take…”

BEA: “Are you guys that obsessed with me?”

Natalie throws Bea away, and then approaches her

NATALIE: “You’ll know why we’re doing this, you’ll even become one of us!”

GALE: “Natalie, stop! If this is about our recent break up then I should be the one you have your sights on, leave Bea out of this.”

BEA (VO): “God he’s so cool!”

NATALIE: “Hmm… Fine then. I also have some unfinished business with you.”

Natalie sets her sights on Gale, with a sinister look on her face

NATALIE: “YOU WILL DIE WITH YOUR HEAVY SINS STRAPPED TO YOUR BACK.”

GALE: “Ehh??? Can I at least count them up first?”

NATALIE: "YOU WILL COUNT THEM UP IN HELL YOU SCUMBAG!!!"

Gale pulls out a weird credit card straight out of his pocket

GALE: “Ryoukin Henge!”

Gale slides the weird credit card into the Teller Machine Driver

TELLER MACHINE: “Transaction Complete.”

A bright light shines from the belt, revealing Gale in light green and yellow armor.

GALE: “Golden Fighter, Gale!”

NATALIE: “I know this trick of yours already!!!”

Natalie rushes towards Gale with extreme speed. They both exchange blows.

NATALIE: “You persistent @*#&%!!!”

Natalie continues to pressure Gale with her whips, Gale guards himself and pushes himself into a corner, He rolls away

GALE: “You leave me no choice Natalie”

Gale pulls out the weird credit card and slides it into the Teller Machine twice

TELLER MACHINE: “Punch, Transaction Complete.”

Gale punches Natalie, knocking her out in front of Bea

NATALIE: “You should… run away… too…”

Natalie suddenly disappears and coins fall out of the sky, Gale detransforms and runs towards Bea

GALE: “Only 12 bucks? Dang... anyways, are you alright Bea?”

BEA: “What the hell was that?”

ERI: “Comes out of hiding together with Remy, We got some explaining to do…”

In. ERI’S HOUSE.

ERI: “That was Gale’s specially made Golden Armor, he has to pay a fortune every time he uses it.”

GALE: “Fortunately, my dad aided in its creation, he’s basically helped me pay every fight I use it with. But, I also have to pay for it some way, so, here’s the band”

BEA: “Do all of you know about this?”

GALE: “Yes, Remy knew much later though.”

BEA: “Those 5 OF HEARTS, they seem to know my every move…”

GALE: “I’ve never heard of this group, all I’ve been doing with the Golden Armor was to aid the police in shootouts and other stuff.”

BEA: “They seem to have a connection to you too.”

GALE: “Yea, Natalie, she was my ex. She left on her own around like, 6 months ago.”

REMY: “How many exes have you had?”

GALE: “Around five?”

REMY: “No way, this is exactly like Scott Pilgrim!”

ERI: “Remy this is not the time to make obscure movie references!”

REMY: “Guys, hear me out first, okay?”

The band moves in a bit closer to listen to Remy

REMY: “In Scott Pilgrim, Scott was dating this girl named Ramona, but in order to date her peacefully, Scott had to defeat her seven evil exes… Maybe what we are facing now is a Scott Pilgrim situation!”

ERI: “That’s a fictional story! No way that’s real”

BEA: “No, it is real. Scott Pilgrim is a real dude, look him up.”

Eri hastily searches on her computer to find any related stories of Scott

ERI: “No way… The movie is based on a true story?”

REMY: “Yup, but the seven evil exes thing was more or less an exaggeration, yes there were powers but they seldom fought… except for Gideon, they fought with Gideon”

BEA: “So if they know about my thoughts and moves, then they know about my crush with Gale?”

EMI AND REMY (TOGETHER): “YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON GALE?!?!”

BEA: “Was I thinking too loud? I was thinking too loud…”

GALE: “I don’t mind, Bea. In fact, I also kind of like you.”

NARRATOR: “As our beloved Bea turns as red as a strawberry, will we see a love that blooms like a flower? Or end up in a horrible disaster? Tune in next week for Song #2 entitled “Is it too late for love? / Movement”! Has she finally turned into a big boy?”

WRITER NOTES

I still don't have designs for the said characters but I do plan on working with other artists to make them visually represented right. Also, there will probably be songs per Song/Chapter, at most two, at least none but I will make sure that there will be one per chapter. There will probably be about 7 chapters, each with a villain and or theme. I would love to treat this like your regular tokusatsu show even though I never planned it to be like that when I planned this out a year ago. Yes, this story a fan made Scott Pilgrim spinoff, but this story will be far separated from the original, this is not a fan made sequel. Think of it like Donbrothers with Zenkaiger...
