ICONIC - HAT CONTROL 2.0 (SLIDER) FOR THE SIMS 4

I finally updated my head accessories slider to version 2.0! It now works for both male and female adult Sims.

Make sure to read the full documentation on my Blogger to understand how it works and how to make custom content compatible. I also made a video—check it out here!

For the slider to function, you need to use my new mod called Rig Override 1.0. Don’t forget to download it and place it in your Mods folder. If you're a creator, make sure to also add it to your Sims 4 Studio Mods folder.

Copperdale Science High School

A modern school with a focus on the study of sciences, located in Copperdale. On the school grounds there is a basketball hall, a tennis court and a gym. The school has a large library and plenty of space for studying. The design of the school is in a modern style. The school is designed for 2 classes) if you play with standard EA settings. I play with a mod for More Students At High School&Some Tweaks 24 students - 12 in one class. I also have 2 counters in my dining room for two sellers. K-505 LIFE & DEATH - WELCOME TO RAVENWOOD

So, you made your k-505 basegame update ? ( see previous post ) Excellent ! And you already downloaded k-303 and k-606 updated just for you ? ( see previous post ) Great ! Now, let's talk about the new expansion terrains and urban k-505 mod for Life & Death :)

Welcome to Ravenwood, where life and the afterlife hang out together. This little town might look all quaint and charming. Now, whether you’re living with ghosts, working under the Grim Reaper itself, or just hanging around for the vibes, Ravenwood is ready to accommodate. We’re really hoping you’re here for more than just those haunted trees, though—because frankly, they’re as weird as they are creepy …

Ramparts and flower bushes, trees and paved streets. As usual, we did our best to make this little place better. With or without the Grim Reaper's approval. Hell, we just revamped the place and left as soon as we could :D

Even we know there will be tiny updates to do in the coming weeks, we tried to bring a bit of depth. This place is now beautiful and no Lord Vampire ( hello Vlad ! ) no Death and no ghost ( tree or cowplant ) can argue against it and claim a refund ( ha! talk about a loophole ) because once you see Ravenwood with this k-505 overhaul, there's no going back ... :D You are warned !

We brought ramparts that look like they’ve survived a thousand hauntings, lush flower bushes that’d make any ghost jealous, and revamped the streets with cobblestones just begging to be strolled by mysterious figures at midnight ;)

With the Grim Reaper’s silent nod ( or maybe just his lack of objection ), we’ve given the place a full facelift—adding textures and details that even Vlad might have to admit are an improvement.

Now, between haunted trees, ghostly cowplants, and whatever else wanders these streets at night, Ravenwood has the polished but spooky glow it deserves. And hey, if any ghouls want a refund, they’ll have to take it up with Grim itself ( because yes : we have some agreement indeed ) :D

Are you ready to get a deeper and immersive gameplay ?

PLEASE, do not forget : delete the existing K-505 BASEGAME files and replace them with the ones ( dated as 11112024 ) provided in the previous post. Do not panic, the grassy and groundy parts are still dated 08082024 because untouched since this date :)

Disordinato Collection - Part 1

Sul sul, darlings!

Disordinato Collection is finally here. I'm sorry I couldn't publish it last month. It was a more challenging process than I expected. But despite all the difficulties, here I am.

Disordinato Collection is the ideal set for your sims who live a messy life. And the first part of this theme is the living room. The set contains a total of 18 items and they are all compatible with the base game.

When I was doing this set, I literally stepped out of my comfort zone. You know, for example, when I built a bookcase, I would just make the bookcase and leave it to you to decorate it. But almost all of the items included in this set are cluttered. I think that was the issue that challanged me the most. Again, if I need to give an example from the bookcase, I had to design 65 mesh for this bookcase, which is a single object. And as I said at WIP, it was very difficult for me to design messy objects because I am a very organized person. I hope what I did was appropriate for the messy aesthetic.

I feel like I've talked too much. Let's take a look at the objects included in the set.

Hotel Verde is a boutique hotel located in the Nuevo Corazón neighborhood of Ciudad Enamorada. It is featured in the series premiere of Keeping Up with the Joneses & inspired by these Mexico City hotels: Soho House, Colima 71 & VOLGA.

if anyone is wondering why loading screens seem to break and show the grey llama image instead of the plumbob, it's because they changed the instance number of one of the plumbob image assets from 6aec0ad1d1ed59c2 to 6aec09d1d1ed580a.

yeah, a simple change in the instance number is all you need to make a UI mod break, among a couple of other things 🥰 this happens if your loading screen mod only includes the ScaleFormGFX file (where you change the background) and doesn't include the plumbob image assets that has the old instance #.

how it works:

Mod includes an old GFX file and its associated image asset(s) w/ the old instance # -> UI doesn't break, game reverts to the old loading screen as a result. (Think of TMEX's Clean UI that keeps the old main menu design.)

Mod includes only the old GFX file, while the image asset w/ new instance # comes from the game files' itself -> UI breaks, there's now a disconnect between the old GFX file and the new image asset.

(more details on why/how ui mods break the way they do at some other time)

so in theory, if you are to import all of the older plumbob image assets (before 22 Oct update) into your loading screen mod and keep the old instance numbers as they were, your loading screen will "fix" itself because the GFX file in your mod can now find the image asset that it was tied to, or as stated on the 2nd point above, revert to an old version of the loading screen.

(plumbob looks janky because I didn't use the old image assets and used the new ones instead)

anyway. off I go to update my ui mods and come back in a few days 🫠

I wasn’t planning to share this, but given the situation of the world right now, I thought maybe it could be nice to have a tiny little distraction while most of us have to stay at home.

The polaroid and gameboy are conversions from free 3D models, I just recolored/retextured the camera. The rest are my meshes. The vinyl accessory is assigned to stigmata.
