I genuinely really respect how Jungkook always sticks to his contract, no matter the time, place, or situation. And today, he kept making sure Jimin was right by his side before doing anything — whether it was walking off, leaving, whatever. Like in this moment: he started walking, realised Jimin wasn’t next to him, stopped, and only carried on once he caught up. And did you notice he didn’t do that for Yoongi? Yeah.

I probably shouldn’t be posting this, but I’m going to anyway—because I need to.

Despite everything that’s been said on social media these past few days, it’s honestly just so lovely to see Jimin and Jungkook like this… It’s lovely to see that none of it has touched them. It hasn’t affected them. It doesn’t affect their dynamic, their relationship, their bond, their closeness. They’re still just… them.

This is them arriving back in Korea. As if nothing happened.

Part of me wants to believe they don’t see any of the stuff going around on social media, and another part of me hopes that even if they do, they just don’t care. It doesn’t get to them. They know it’s not the truth. It’s just one tiny speck in a much bigger picture.

Severance Hospital and BTS SUGA to Establish ‘Min Yoongi Treatment Centre’. SUGA Donates 5 Billion KRW to Support Treatment and Independence of Children and Adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder

On the 23rd, Severance Hospital held a groundbreaking ceremony for the ‘Min Yoongi Treatment Centre’ on the first floor of the Jejung Building, dedicated to the treatment of children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The centre will offer support for mental health through language, psychological, and behavioural therapy, and will run a variety of programmes that integrate clinical care and research.

In November last year, SUGA came into contact with Professor Chun Geun Ah, a leading authority in child psychiatry at Severance Hospital. Through multiple meetings, they came to understand that ASD patients require personalised, long-term care tailored to each stage of life—something that is difficult to achieve with short-term interventions. Recognising the urgent need for a specialised treatment centre that could provide support over more than 10 years, SUGA decided to donate 5 billion KRW (around 3.6 million USD / 3.3 million EUR) to Severance Hospital.

Following his decision, Professor Chun and SUGA met several times from the end of last year to early this year to discuss both the establishment of the centre and ways to incorporate music into social skills training for children with ASD. As a result, they developed the ‘MIND’ programme—a group-based social skills training initiative that combines music with existing therapeutic frameworks.

MIND stands for:

Music – Enhancing sensory experience and interaction through music

Interaction – Building social relationships and communication

Network – Learning how to form bonds within a community

Diversity – Respecting individual differences while fostering social inclusion

Children participating in the MIND programme play instruments, sing songs, write lyrics, and express their thoughts and emotions through music and writing.

From March to June, SUGA spent his weekends participating in the programme’s development, meeting children with ASD, and even playing instruments like the guitar to help them engage with rhythm and harmony. He guided them in emotional expression through music and even taught them how to play instruments themselves.

Going forward, the Min Yoongi Treatment Centre will further develop the MIND programme and establish a self-sustaining music therapy model. A systematic training process will also be implemented to cultivate experts in various therapeutic fields, ensuring the programme’s long-term success and professionalism.

When construction is completed in September, the centre will launch expanded formal therapy sessions, including music-based social skills training for individuals with ASD and other developmental disorders.

Professor Chun stated:

“Beyond the generous financial support, I am truly grateful for the sincerity SUGA has shown over the past several months through his talent donation and volunteer work. His consistent dedication, thoughtful attitude, and earnest efforts have been incredibly moving. The ultimate goal of the Min Yoongi Treatment Centre and the MIND programme is to help children with ASD grow into independent, healthy members of society through music, while also breaking down prejudices and improving public perception of autism.”

SUGA shared:

“Over the past seven months of working with Professor Chun on the programme and volunteering, I’ve come to deeply understand how music can be a powerful way to express oneself and connect with the world. Being able to be part of these children’s healing journey has been a truly meaningful and joyful experience. I’ll continue doing my part so that more children can feel included and empowered as members of our society.”
