Speaking of pulls: Just pulled for Sundays lighcone, because its very much worth investing in. But...

ONCE IN MY LIFE I WIN A 50/50/75/25 AND THEN ITS THE SAME LIGHCONE?

Like COME ON. I coulde have had Sunday lightcone AND Phainon lightcone :,0 Why does this shit always happen to meeeeeee

3.4 (Phainon) ramble cause the fuck was that

My sorry ass has burned through 7h of Amphoreus 3.4 content (including long pauses to digest what the hell just happened) and of course has sucessfully pulled Phainon >:0

But since I ALWAYS loose my 50/50 my first 30 pulls perished to a Bailu :,D. (But managed to pull Phainon after 80 more)

(Because I was so excited I forgot to take a picture of his splash art :,0. But anyway, here he is in his full glory)

Some spoilers ahead:

So anyways while playing the new patch I was confused pretty much all the time because the cycle jumping storyline was very overwhelming (is it the threemilionwhatever or the twomilion blabla cycle?) I was losssttt.

Also what is Kevin Kaslana girly doing hereeeeee??? I never played HI3 but I consumed hours of lore videos, welcome Kevin to HSR ig?

And adding to that I tried to watch as many amphoreus theory videos before the update as I could, to try to understand the whole thing going on there. Some theories were right (I think one was, that Amphoreus is a creation aimed to destroy nous?) but as I said the whole cycle jumping thing had me dead in the head (and to be honest after some time the cycling felt incredibly tiring and not progressing forward at all) Ooo and also March? March and her ties to the rememberance? I wonder how she and Cyrene are related to each other.

But as far as Im concerned Phainon is the Lord Ravager for destruction? And Cyrene has eliminated herself, so there would be hopes that the Rememberance casts their gaze on Amphoreus?

But also sooo many question that I couldnt answer while playing: How does the whole cycle thing with the flame reaver work? How did he survive the transition from the pervious era to the era nova? Also Phainon and Cyrene apparently created the whole cicly thingy, so Amphoreus never dies and eventually recieves salvation? But if they invented the cycling, then it wouldnt make sense that someone was conducting an experiment on Amphoreus? Where did the other cycles with Calypso and Nikador go? I was assuming they vanished or something? Well, I'll try to watch an explanation video to get the gist.

And last but not least. PHAINOOON. In the first few patches I was getting kind of sad because our homeboy wasnt getting any significant screentime (except cool fighting sequences) but I really was looking for that lore drop. AND THE DROP CAMEEEE. Alone for the Aedes Elysiae bit where his whole village got destroyed and the corrputed people were his friends? GOOSEBUMPS! Joshua Waters was eating this shit up :,0 Also his 1'000 different names? Mega confusing but I loved it all. And when they started to unpack Flame Reavers/Khaslanas past??? I got blasteddddd. The suffering this man has gone through is insane, but for me it made his character one of the best of all HSR. Also Phaidei first meeting? LOVED IT. But also Phainon in act one (before the destruction of his village) was so comforting. Finally saw this man happy for a minute. But total crashout when he went to kill the chrysos heirs as the Flame Reaver. Ooo and I also loed the detail that as the Flame Reaver he has Cyrenes sickle. But I still think what made me peak-hyped for him was Phainons character trailer, but thats a whole other story (SHIT WAS EATINNGGGG WTFFFF)

Oof. All in all that is/was a really loaded patch and the lore drop really needs to be digested. I am very happy.
