Unlike any other dental jewellers, Adrian Flores, founder of Juanita grillz (based in Brussel) doesn’t take much interest in comfortability of jewellery. First thought you get when you think of the word “grillz” is usually gold, silver or diamond coverage which usually takes form of the teeth. But Juanita takes it few steps forward. You can draw parallels from his one of the biggest inspiration being horror movies which in his own words “doesn’t meet any expectations” to his boundary pushing and familiar and accepted form breaking mouthpieces.

Coming from the background of fine and visual arts and discovering his love for dental jewellery quite unexpectedly is what i like the most about Adrien Flores story. I believe that in design and art world you should never study what you want to become.

Have been trying to find the artists name behind these pieces but the furthest i got was a suspect called @yearlys that could be behind it, who probably discovered guassian blur on photoshop and has a good sence of colour combination.
