"Why do you always braid your hair before sleeping?" Taeyong curiously asked from his bed, watching as she struggled with her hair.

Every night Seren took her time to brush her hair and braid it —at least when it was long enough to do it.

But even though she was good at doing other people's hair, she wasn't exactly good at braiding her own hair (or most of the time she was too lazy to do it, mostly because it took her a long time to do it and therefore her arms got tired).

"Well, mom always did it since I was little so I guess I got used to it," she explained, for a few moments giving up on her hair and lowering her arms. "Although it also helps a lot for hair to grow."

Taeyong has always loved her hair, how soft and beautiful it was. He especially liked it when it was long because it meant he could play with it. And to tell the truth, he has always felt the need to style her hair, not just stroke or brush it, but to actually take his time to do a nice hairstyle.

"Can I try braiding your hair?" he asks sweetly.

Seren turns to see him in surprise, but nods quickly and hands him the brush and hair tie. He gets up from his bed and walks over to her bed, taking a seat next to her.

"Do you know how to do braids?" she turns her back on him as she asks. "Did you do your sister's hair?"

Taeyong starts brushing her hair - which at the time felt tangled, again - and replies:

"I liked doing it, but I really didn't always have the chance. However, I always wanted to do yours."

Seren clapped her hands excitedly, looking like a little girl.

"Oppa, could you braid my hair every day?"

Taeyong smiled and placed a small kiss on her head. "I would love nothing more."

Wang Yong came to SM Entertainment in late 2012 and Lee Taeyong quickly took care of him under his wing. He was quite a popular trainee, not only because of his looks, but also because of his great talent for dancing, despite his young age. He was to the younger ones what Kang Seulgi was to Sohee.

Falling for Xu Minghao was like breathing, so natural, so effortless, without realizing it.

"Really? I'm sure you will, one day." she sends him a friendly wink. "So, I'm supposed to have a concept, just follow me. I'm 13 years old."

Seren thinks for a moment, frowning too. "Kids that age can be a bit mean, but I'm sure you're a great brother to her."

"They taste amazing."

"Were you scared when you came to Korea?" he asks with eyes full of curiosity.

"Scared? No, maybe... maybe a little," she chuckles. "But there was no need to, my family came with me. I think I was more nervous than scared because I was a timid girl."

"Really? You don't seem like that kind of person."

"Right? I've changed that."

He nods. "Why did you want to come to Korea?"

"Ooh," Seren pauses, thinking about her answer. "I want to be an artist. Like— have you ever heard of Wonder Girls? Or F(x)?"

Seren looks at the camera for a moment and then looks at him again. "Of course, I'm happy. But— I still have that dream."

"Of course!" she responds happily, eating a bar of chocolate. "I like everything, the food, the people, the culture."

"And do you have a lot of friends?" Juwon questions, grabbing another candy. "I can be one of them."

She smiles at him. "I'd be happy if you were my friend. And yes, I have made some nice friendships. But," she pauses. "It was difficult the first years."

"Why?"

"Well," she explains. "Even though I knew — I know — many people, it's hard to tell the real ones apart. So when I came here, I was very friendly with everyone, but I couldn't exactly tell who my real friends were. It was until years later."

He seems to agree. "Right, right. My mommy always tells me that."

"Your mommy is a smart person. I know who you got it from," she laughs. "But Juwon, what about you? Do you have a lot of friends?"

He nods quickly.

"Yes, I am friends with many people, but best friends with only two of them," he replies. "We like to ride our bikes all the time. Sometimes we also play video games. Noona, what did you do when you were my age?"

"Your age? How old are you? About 8?" he nods excitedly. "Ooh, well, I always played hide and seek with my friends. I also went to the beach a lot with my family. I built giant sandcastles — okay, maybe not giant, but very pretty."

"Actually," he tells her, pulling something out of a bag next to him. It was a notebook decorated with a bunch of colors and a lot of animated characters (probably his favorites). In big and highlighted letters, it said: Adventure Book.

"It's so beautiful," she hugs the notebook, a big smile on her face. "Did you make this?

Yes, everyone at 127 already knows it and learned it from different experiences.

First, it was Taeil: he lost his favorite jacket and made a fuss about it, only for Seren to show up the next day wearing the exactly same jacket as if it were hers.

(Yes, he had to apologize to the members for blaming them).

Then it had been Taeyong. Although he didn't directly blame everyone, he did check their clothes to see if it was there. By the time it was the third victim's turn, everyone knew it was Seren — not that she tries to hide it, and she always defends herself by saying that: to be honest, it wasn't her fault that men's clothing is cooler and way prettier.

This time her target was the prettiest hoodie she'd ever seen, it was black, had nice red details, and it practically screamed her name. It was also Johnny's most recent and favorite hoodie.

He always tries to buy extra clothes, nice enough for her to like them (because in the end, she will steal them). And with that, she won't take away the things that he actually likes.

So this morning, when he looked everywhere (even Haechan things) and didn't find it, he automatically knew it was Seren's doing. He doesn't really understand — a week ago when he bought it, she swore it wasn't her taste and even told him not to worry. And now she had stolen it.

Johnny immediately left his room and went to hers. Her door was closed, and when he tried to open it, he realized that it was also locked.

"Seren, open up," he knocked on the door.

Today on his special day she is taking him (and the dreamies, of course) to eat at this nice restaurant that gives them security so that no one follows them.

(The last thing they want is to have their day ruined).

On the way to the restaurant, Haechan keeps fake crying because "the maknae is finally an adult" and Jaemin can't stop hugging Jisung.

"Please stop. I beg you," he pushes him away.

He tries to sound annoyed, but the smile on his lips betrays him, and then it's another five minutes of teasing the maknae until they get to the restaurant.

Jisung is the first one to get out (run away) from the arms of his hyungs and catches up with Seren. He has never really said it out loud, but he adores her. He loves that she has always been there for him, supporting him and giving him advice. He also likes that she always made time for him, even when she didn't have much time — he understood that she had her stuff and a boyfriend that she wanted to spend as much time with as possible, and yet his noona always gave him a little of her time.

They all have a good time, with some scolding from Seren because Chenle and Mark keep laughing so loud that several times other people have to approach them to ask if they can just please... stop.

Little one!? Jisung was screaming in his head, and the boys were definitely not helping (not that he expected them to be helpful). He was sure now that they would make fun him for another five years.

Jisung scratched his head and met Seren's eyes, asking for help.

"Jisung, that's his name"

"Okay, so do you have a favorite cake?" Woobin asked, still smiling. Woah, he doesn't get tired. "The most requested is red velvet, but we have chocolate, oreo—"

"That!" Seren interrupted him, suddenly sounding excited at the thought of her favorite cake. "Oh, sorry about that. It's just— he really likes oreo cake."

(Sure, he liked it, but not as much as she did).

But she ignored him. "And do you happen to have birthday hats? He really likes those."

No, he didn't.

Okay so maybe Jisung spoke to soon when he said it was a good day without him being embarrassed — really, he must have seen it coming because when Seren wasn't in the company of 127 she got really wild.

The waiter Woobin returned, this time accompanied by four other waiters holding an oreo cake, birthday hats, and of course, their big smiles. The boys were really grateful that no one had recognized them when Seren and Haechan started singing Happy Birthday (with high notes, pretending to cry and hugging each other).

Jisung had enough when they seemed to want to make a toast, and stopped them.

"Noona, that's enough." he thanked the waiters. "I really liked it but..."

"But I got you cake," she frowned.

Jaemin hugged her. "Yes, Jisungie, she got you free cake!"

She started complaining to Mark about "these kids, they don't appreciate anything"

"But noona..." Jisung tried to explain. "It was... uh, it was kind of embarrassing. It's just that when you're just with us... you can be really... wild."

They all thought for a moment, it was true.

Seren enters the room with a big smile. She takes a seat in the chair and looks at one of the cameras.

"I'm a little nervous. Maybe I'll cry. Hey, just so you know, if I cry, I'm getting out of here."

She grabs the camera, takes a deep breath, and plays it.

"Hi, hello... Okay. This kind of thing— uh, okay, let's do this.

Serenity... Uh, I don't want to cry, and I don't want to make you cry, so I'll make this as less emotional as possible.

Sohee, I admire you. Not just because of your talent, but as a person. I don't think I've ever met a soul as pure as yours.

Mmh... I think I will always be grateful for our friendship and that we are in the same group. I've heard our members say that this —our friendship— feels like fate... I agree. When we were trainees, we didn't spend that much time together, but now I don't think I can imagine a day without your company. I think we connected very well, it took us a while, but I'm happy about the whole journey we had.

Seren is standing in front of the camera, which is on her small desk. She's wearing a blue sweater and pants, there is a white towel around her shoulders, and her hair is wet.

"I just took a bath. The water was so good that I almost forgot about you." she begins to dry her hair. "Johnny-oppa had to come to knock on my door to remind me."

She stops drying her hair for a moment to grab the camera, then walks over to her bed and sits down. With one hand, she holds the camera and, with her other hand, continues to dry her hair.

"These days, there isn't much to do because, you know, we can't go outside." she pouts. "So after practice or when I finish my schedule, I come back here, rest a bit, and then go to the 10th floor to watch movies or hang out."

"I don't really wear makeup when I'm at home," she says when she's done drying her hair. "Well, that's a lie. I do wear it sometimes, but I don't feel like doing it today."

Seren sets the towel aside and eases herself onto the bed, crossing her legs.

"You can see I have dark circles," she points under her eyes. 

"Ah, you guys, I've been listening to a lot of music lately — well, always." she laughs a little. "But lately, I feel more connected. I recently listened to Zayn's album again —yes, Icarus Falls, don't tell me you haven't heard it! — and I forgot how great it was. In fact," she starts laughing all of a sudden. "yesterday Taeyong-oppa entered the room and was scared because everything was dark and the music was loud. I was sitting like this and meditating... Yes, he was scared."

She is silent for a moment. "I don't know what to do anymore— it's embarrassing to admit that. I already ate, Doyoung-oppa is in his room, but I don't want to disturb him. Another scene appears in the video, Seren leaving her room and bumping into Haechan coming out of hers.

Seren shot him a look. "Go away then, and don't talk to me ever again."

The next few seconds of the video are Haechan hugging her and asking her for "forgiveness" as they made their way to the kitchen.

They both sit at the table— there are various plates of food and fruit. Haechan brings his face closer to the camera with a big smile.

"Well, now this is Haechan 1.0 Relay Cam. They'll watch me eat while Sohee admires my face."

"Very funny."

She moves the camera away from him and places it on the table, focusing on both of them.

But he ignores her. "Auntie left me some prepared food. I love her."

"I love her even more."

"You just want to fight."

Seren rolls her eyes and grabs a plate of grapes. Haechan takes a plate of food.

"What are you going to do when it's your turn?" she asks him, stuffing the fifth grape into her mouth.

"I don't know." He shrugs. "I told Johnny-hyung to do it with me. And now you have to be there as well."

"I doubt it."

"Ah, noona!" he begs.

She laughs and moves closer to the camera. "Czennies, pay attention. This is what he does when he wants something from me. He never calls me that, only when he wants something."

"You never want to appear with me," Haechan complains. "The same thing happened last time. You preferred to go out with Jaehyun-hyung."

"You didn't invite me last time." She responds defensively, but there is a smile peeking out. "Like, we ran into each other in the elevator, and you just complained. Besides, we're together right now."

"If I were Jaemin ..." he mutters, taking a big bite out of his food.

But Seren hears him because, after that, she lets out the loudest laugh, and when she moves her hand, she accidentally hits him.

"Haechanie tends to get jealous because he swears that Jaemin is my favorite now."

Haechan frowns but still seems to want to laugh. "I just finish this meal, and trust me, the rest of the week I don't speak to you again."

He was obviously joking because not even a minute later, they were both chatting and laughing like nothing.

"After this, we should play fifa," he says.

Seren immediately denies it. "I don't play with bad losers."

"Once! That was once!" he defends himself. "And I don't know since when did you get good."

"Jungwoo taught me." She responds happily. "He said, and I quote: so you can finally kick his ass— butt! I meant butt."

He lets out a big snort. "I'm better than him."

"I highly doubt that."

After what seemed like an eternity (to her) of waiting for Haechan to finish eating and hearing him say that "he was definitely better than Jungwoo" they finally went to sit in the living room.

She adjusts the camera so that it focuses on both of them, and he takes the remote control to turn on the television.

"Hey, don't you dare turn on the game!" she sits up and frowns at him.

Haechan pouts at her. "Please, just for a bit. Think about this: the Relay Cam is almost over, and czennies want to see us play."

"They don't want that."

"Yes, they do," he raises an eyebrow. "You think they don't want to see two competitive Geminis play a video game that makes them fight?"

Seren blinks for a moment and then looks straight into the camera. "Shame on you If you want that, guys. I actually don't like fighting with you," she looks at Haechan for a few seconds and then smiles. "but I do like kicking your butt."

She didn't have to say more, Haechan immediately turned on the video game. For the next few minutes, they play (and she calls him a cheater several times) until her phone rings, and when she picks it up, she sees the time.

"It's 2:58!"

Seren shows her phone to the camera. Her lock screen is a photo of a bunch of beautiful butterflies.

"Before you finish this, they should know that I'm beating you," Haechan smirks.

"I can defend that— it's early, and I'm not me right now..."

"Early!?"
