every time i log onto this account i am frustratingly nostalgic for the time in my life when this blog was everything to me. i cultivated a love for writing in this community. i made friends that occasionally like my instagram stories and some that i may never have the pleasure of talking to again. and its been more frequent this past month that i stay up later than usual to think about how everyone ive ever met has left their mark on me. its been more frequent that i focus on the negatives of that, but i find it difficult to do that here. its the anonymous messages that went unanswered that strike a little deeper. its the years of dms that get more sporadic as time wears on. its the comments from users i dont follow that wind up finding me from a reblog and let me know my work is worth reading. these little moments mean more to me now than they did six years ago when i started this blog. i hope to share my work with you all, professionally, soon (aka when i work up enough courage to revisit my hundreds of drafts).

the story about my current fascination with will turner starts with me writing a screenplay for a film about woke pirates and accidentally ripping off jack sparrows ship name (only mine was The Lost Pearl) so i started watching the pirates films so i can NOT accidentally rip anything else off when i continue writing my movie

the only bad thing about being a writer is being picky about writing style and having to consume poorly written fics
