Talia and Shawn have a little history through Talia’s cousin, Victoria. They’re pretty close cousins despite living in different states, and whenever Talia has been lucky enough to take a vacation, it has always been to visit with Victoria and her family. It was during those visits that Talia met Shawn, and made the observation that he totally has a thing for her cousin, but as of yet, she has chosen not to say anything. It isn’t her place, after all.

The idea of applying to NDHQ came from Shawn, with him helping Talia to brainstorm ideas when she talked about needing some extra money. He doesn’t know exactly why she needs it, but he’s someone she’d be comfortable with opening up to about it eventually. He’s a positive connection for her at NDHQ, and God knows Talia definitely needs one of those right now. Besides, they can both miss Victoria together.

Where to even begin with these two? With four years of history behind them, there should be at least something positive to say, but there really isn’t, not anymore. Having attended the same college, they started out hooking up, then became that on again/off again boyfriend and girlfriend that couldn’t seem to stay away from each other, no matter how terrible they were together. It’s safe to say they brought out the worst in each other, and they still do now.

Their final breakup was definitely for the best, but whenever they’ve been in the same place at the same time since, they’ve of course wound up in bed together. Total hate sex, but sex all the same. For example, they attended the wedding of a mutual friend a few months back, literally ended up having to walk down the aisle together despite the fact that they definitely didn’t want to, but still wound up in bed together afterwards. Within the past month, both back in Texas again, drunk Talia bumped into Harley at a bar, hit on him, and wound up slapping him when he turned her down. They genuinely are just very good at getting under each other’s skin, and know exactly how to push each other’s buttons.

With more on her plate than dealing with her toxic past relationship, Talia is definitely not at NDHQ for Harley. She knows he works there, but she didn’t follow him to the company. She has way bigger things to care about, and to be honest she’d much rather Harley wasn’t at her new place of work, but he is, so her plan is to just stay out of his way and hopefully he’ll do the same vice versa. It obviously won’t happen, but Talia has no time for his bullshit anymore, so they’ll probably just wind up fucking and fighting again sooner or later, as per usual.

Truth be told, Mia didn’t expect to find as great of friends as she has at NDHQ, and in such a short period of time, but for her one of those friends has a special place in her heart. That person is Sam Evans. Sam has become one of Mia’s dearest friends and closest confidants during her short time with the company. He’s also become one of the first she goes to when she needs a good laugh to brighten her day. No matter what has her down or buried in her own frustrations, Sam manages to pull her out with a funny distraction or let her take a moment and just vent to him. No matter what’s going on in her head or in her world, Mia knows she can go to Sam and he will be understanding and kind. Whether it’s filming or just roaming around LA munching on all the street food truck goodies they can find, Mia enjoys every second around him and looks forward to many more laughs.
