i played ts4 for a little bit last night. i don't have any gameplay mods. am i crazy or do sims literally walk away in the middle of conversations??? sims in a group convo/at a table keep getting up and leaving, they won't sit still. the social interactions feel so unnatural, compared to TS3.

amir tried to rock the 80s stache & noticed that men at the gym were suddenly coming up to him a lot more to ask for form checks and help with spotting. he was getting a lot more nods and winks and "looking good man," comments. everyone is so friendly, he thought.

1. amir tries to subscribe to stoicism to reign in his roller coaster of emotions. he journals sometimes and keeps a list of affirmations and quotes in his phone. he has a meditation app he listens to and some podcasts saved for when he wants to turn off his brain.

2. his instagram bio is "Veni, vidi, vici. ⚔" which he thinks is cool. he has barely any posts and barely any followers. he uses the app to bookmark workout videos, recipes, outfits, and inspirational quotes. he takes vanity physique photos sometimes, but he's too shy to post them. except anonymously on fitness subreddits sometimes.

3. he is a hopeless romantic and has old school ideas about love. he does not believe that casual hookup type relationships are healthy and tries to avoid porn because he thinks it cheapens the intimacy of sex. sexual discipline is one of those "rules" he holds himself to. unfortunately it also means he's constantly frustrated.

4. amir has never seen himself settling down in white picket fence simerican suburbia, but he can't deny some parts of sunset valley have grown on him. he likes his peaceful night drives on the outskirts of town, the lush green hills, and the quiet cliff with a view of the lighthouse. the Sunset Valley Institute of Technology campus also makes him feel nostalgic because that's where he truly fell in love and had his first real, serious relationship. if he left, he would have to close that chapter of his life, and he's not ready to move on yet.

5. he has a bad habit of smoking cigarettes but he doesn't really want to quit. he allows himself one (1) vice. with his leather jacket on oh yeah he's the main character 😎
