Namari goes by She/Her pronouns. I have no idea where you got He/Him Namari from. There was previously an issue where the Official English Translation of the manga referred to Thistle and Mickbell with She/Her pronouns, but that has since been corrected.
Namari's English VA in the anime dub, Marin M. Miller, is non-binary and uses They/Them pronouns. Is it possible that that is where you got confused?

@tsukinoinaba it's probably meant to be a reference to both Kaja & Phil Foglio, since they both have a history of making art for Magic: The Gathering.

With likely the tiniest card text ever
I'm not sure about that? Probably not really if looking at every card game out there, and before "hey, let's make up space-saving terminology" became a thing.

@egscomics
Of course I really ship all of the actively dating couples in the series.
The lack of people in the comments including Sam in their Tedd/Grace/Sarah/+ polycules is disappointing. I think the dynamic of the 4 of them would be very interesting. Maybe Sam just needs more screentime to get people invested in him.
Tedd/Grace/Elliot/Ashley seems like the one out of all the possible polycules that is most likely to actually happen.
Susan/Elliot/Ashley (mainly with Susan watching) would also be good, but all the recent Susan/Jay content is a compelling alternative in the "Susan finding a relationship that works for her circumstances" department.
I actually really like Vladia's hinted Crush on Adrian Raven & would like to see more development on that.
Ships!
Basically, um... Which EGS characters do you ship?
(Might make a poll later based on responses, though there's a limit to how many can be on one.)

@akay4 Yeah, FFXIV's world map roughly corresponds Earth's. Here is further east on the map:
Tumblr media
Toral is the Americas (until we found out it is called Toral it had only been referred to in-game as "The New World"), Eorzea is Africa, Old Sharlayan is the British Isles, Ilsabard is continental Europe, Othard is continental Asia, Hingashi (primarily made up of the islands Koshu & Shisu) is Japan, and Thavnair is "What if the Indian subcontinent was still a separate land mass like it was during the Paleocene".
Also, there is "The Southern Continent" of Meracydia, but we are still unsure of if it is meant to be Australia, Antarctica, or both.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ok so you're telling me the smaller continent on the right contains enough stuff to fill two expansions and a half, since there's five countries over there with three-to-five zones each?
But all the land on the left continent can be explored in a single expansion of only 6 zones?
Be for real

@gay-disabled-characters-showdown Here is the ask about Jace Beleren I mentioned.
Is the "Needs more evidence or justification." for Jace Beleren from Magic: the Gathering about being disabled, being LGBTQ+, or both? Because I know that there is this really good write-up of the popular interpretation of Jace as Transmasc that really goes deep on his (potentially unintentional but none-the-less highly compelling) coding. https://wielderofmysteries.tumblr.com/post/708833405434986496/self-made-man-jace-beleren-and-representation-for
It’s both, as when I (A) read the wiki I couldn’t easily tell for either aspect.

I see everyone assuming/speculating that the table flip is some sort of living death effect, but they seem to be glossing over the fact that Susan's deck overall seems to be White-Blue.
The "Weak monsters that can come back as stronger, but expensive, ghosts" are assuredly Creatures with "Disturb" such as Dennick, Pious Apprentice, the "martial arts enchantment on herself that reduces the cost of using multiple cards during her turn" is definitely Monk Class, and based on the context of those previous 2 descriptions, the "gargoyle that can't do anything unless she pays for it to be a monster until end of turn" is porbably meant to be a re-skin of Stuffed Bear.
Realizing the Gargoyle was stuff bear then reminded me that Dan posted about making a deck in MTG arena focused around Stuffed Bear, and posting about Monk Class. So I went and checked the MTG tag on Dan's blog, and sure enough, there was the "Ghost Bear Monks!" deck: https://danshive.tumblr.com/post/664354441936371712/ghost-bear-monks-a-disturb-deck-of-my-own-design
So the "flip the table" is probably just meant to be a regular old Wrath effect like "Doomskar" or "Vanquish the Horde".

Confused goblin
When confused goblin enters play, immediately return confused goblin to your hand unless you pay 1.
Please do not use this for infinite combos, as that... You're doing an infinite combo right now, aren't you.

@theseretoningoblin
So in "Original D&D", Kobolds were just described as variants of goblins (which actually matches their mythological origins)
In "Advanced D&D" 1e, they looked like this:
Tumblr media
Sorta-doglike, Sorta-lizard like, devil horns. And later editions would gradually refine them into tiny dragon/lizard people that 5e players know them as:
Tumblr media
HOWEVER, while Advanced D&D was being developed by TSR, others (some from within TSR & some from outside) re-edited, rewrote, and expanded the rules of Original D&D to keep people interested until AD&D was ready, eventually resulting in the "BECMI system" (named after the ‘Basic’, ‘Expert’, ‘Companion’, ‘Masters’ and ‘Immortal’ ruleset booklets).
The BECMI system was the most popular variant of D&D in Japan in the 80s and 90s (picture of the Japanese version of the Basic Ruleset, aka "The Red Book")
Tumblr media
And how did the Red Book describe Kobolds?
Tumblr media
Now you may be aware that nowadays D&D proper is nowhere near as popular in Japan as it is in North America. But very importantly, during the 80's in Japan, it was used by Group SNE for a tabletop campaign which they transcribed the sessions of and published in the computer game magazine "Comptiq" as a little something called
Record of Lodoss War
Record of Lodoss War hugely successful and highly influential on the Japanese representation of Western Fantasy concepts (probably second only to Dragon Quest) through its various adaptations. All Blond Anime Elf girls can trace the lineage of their character design back to Deedlit:
Tumblr media
And you can thank Pirotess for the fact that "dark elves" in anime have actual human skin-tones:
Tumblr media
And so it is through this influence that Kobolds were forever cemented as Dog people in anime:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love the way Ryoko Kui draws almost all fantasy races but she really did something special with the kobolds like girl this shit is stunning

@straightbaittournament I embedded the images from Frieren's propaganda:

abbie and ichabod:
They both start out as main characters, working together since the ep. 1. Next three seasons follow the regular m/f protagonist duo pattern: they need each other's help, there's chemistry going on, there are heartwrenching scenes and dramatic sacrifices, they learn they can only truly rely on each other - so the next step is to let them be together, right? Wrong. The next step is to let lt. Mills make a final sacrifice, which on top of killing the pairing insults her as a character - suddenly from the POV protagonist she started as she's demoted to secondary character who always was just there to be the main guy's support. There are some feelings acknowledged, but no confessions or promises exchanged during the final fleeting reunion. Three-seasons-worth of build-up and then she dies.

@danshive [legitimate question] Was this post an intentional reference to the last page of the EGS:NP storyline MV5? Or did your brain just go through the same thought process it did in 2016 by sheer coincidence?

@gay-disabled-characters-showdown in that case, I assume the original submitter of Jace was referring to him being neurodivergent.
In that case, I can point to a different article from the same person who wrote the linked above analysis of Jace's Transmasc coding (Linking again here because the ask formatting prevent a direct link), because in it he discusses talking to Kelly Digges, who has written multiple official stories focusing on Jace, including his origin story.
Kelly states:
When I wrote Jace’s origin, I was drawing on my own experiences of being a “gifted” kid with ADHD–knowing things without being able to explain how I knew them, feeling like a freak, feeling isolated from both well-meaning family and other kids who seemed like space aliens to me. And some of Jace’s quirks, like disliking touch and not making eye contact, are not mine–they’re just things that felt right for him.
(Kelly Digges)
Example of Jace's continuing dislike of eye-contact from another story written by Kelly Digges:
Jace was not accustomed to noticing people's eyes. He didn't need them to read intentions, and while he'd learned to look at people's eyes when he talked to them, he'd never really learned to pay attention to them. But Liliana's eyes he remembered, old and violet-gray and full of the promise of danger. He tried to hold her gaze now, but found he couldn't stand the memories that stirred up. His eyes finally settled on her nose, the only place he could find that didn't make him some manner of uncomfortable.
(Catching Up, by Kelly Digges)
Source for the article with the quote from Kelly Digges:
