it is so jarring and weird when a fantasy book is like “ok let’s go around the circle and have each character talk about which lgbt umbrella category they identify with” like ok your fantasy world doesn’t have to be feudal europe but can it not be 2023 twitter please
It's now difficult to gain any reach at all on social media like Instagram, Tumblr and Pinterest. You get the feeling that only paying users or users with an enormous fan base or particularly popular users get attention there. Small users or artists are completely lost there.
In the last few days, I have noticed that artists are now looking for reasonable or better alternatives to Instagram and Co, as they (like me) are increasingly dissatisfied with this unfair algorithm.
I'm also looking for better alternatives, as I'm increasingly dissatisfied with Instagram and the like. The word Cara comes up often. However, this new artist platform is still relatively unknown to me. I've been on DeviantArt (see bio) for a few years now and have had pretty good experiences with DeviantArt so far. But I'm also going to take a closer look at the new artist platform Cara.
Anyway, this is the mascot Fella from the artist platform DeviantArt.
