i made a character sheet. free to use as you wish, feel free to change whatever you want XD open source ass thing. spent all of ~maybe an hour on it.

Credit: the text in the insert-image box comes from this video, and the text for the top three lines (intense, complex, fruity) comes from this post. The actual image was made with the free NBOS character sheet creator, which is a sort of dated but free and solid text-layout sheet maker intended for ttrpg style character sheet creation.

Guess It’s Morbing Time

Okay so I have now seen Morbius and... I was disappointed cause I was expecting a car wreck of a movie and honestly it wasn't that bad. It isn't the next Citizen Kane or even Orson Welles' Findus Frozen Peas Advert but it held my attention for the most part and it was majority of the moviemaking elements were just okay. With the obvious issues I have of "Building A Spider-man Universe without using Spider-man", the lack of Morbing Time and how clunky the work in Vulture, it could have been WAY worse. We've seen how hamfisted and clunky Sony's world building and sequel baiting can be so honestly I was happy to have them mostly containing the story to the story they were telling was actually good! Jared Leto was serviceable in the role, not a knock out but he wasn't distracting in the role which is often the issue I have with his projects. All the "Oh look at how weird I am", "Watch as I do this for the sake of doing it" or "You wanna hear how I got in to this character?", it's a distraction. There was none of that actually final project and he did a role where he let the character come out on screen rather than it being Jarod Leto Playing A Character on screen. The rest of the cast was serviceable as well, again nothing that blows me away but none were a chore to sit through. Matt Smith has a lot of fun in his role even if the character wasn't anything special or particularly well through out. There were plot holes and things that could have been easily fixed with one more rewrite or shot differently (Maybe explain why two kids from Greece have a American Accent and a British accent respectively/Do more to establish the mercenaries as bad people before Michael attacked them/Did we really just leave that little girl in a coma forever?) but we have seen much worse in comic book movies and given them a pass. The effects and music were ... just there... Again, nothing really to write home about for either good or bad. Not a movie I would rush to see again but not something worthy of the scorn it has received. A 5 out of 10 middle of the road movie.
