The self-annihilator!Sampo theory may be obsolete (in light of the lore from the last event), but it's the concept I wanted to draw.

My headcanon is that the 'part' that is constantly eroding and fading away is not his own memory/body/senses, but his presence in the world - like others' memories of him, the traces he leaves, etc.

And Elation - as the concept opposite to Nihility - is one of the ways to counteract this effect.
