I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

Reblog this to keep other users aware. Suicide isn’t a joke, and neither is someone’s life. If you didn’t know this, someone else may not, either. Pass it on.

I really need all your help, to please share and to let people know how desperate I am, how time sensitive this is, and how important this little guy is. 🚨‼️

My poor baby Tobi has an emergency urinary blockage. We have been in and out of hospitals all weekend and we finally found a place for him to stay for 5 days to get the care he needs. We are now looking at $1200-$1600 in vet bills. I hate to ask but every bit of help counts and will bring Tobi one step closer to relief. I am also selling my crochet plushies to raise money (photos attached) feel free to message me. I can ship.

The goal is set to $800 as I have $800 in cash which comes from my savings. Tobi is my emotional support cat. He means the world and beyond to me. He can help me out of a major depressive im episode with just laying next to me and purring his little heart out. He helps me calm from anxiety attacks. He is really the sweetest and most docile cat. Everyone at the vets office was cuddling up on him.

I know so many people are struggling financially right now in this economy. I get it and I truly understand.. but if anyone has anything to spare, I’ll be sure to pay it forward when I’m in a better financial situation. 🙏

emotionally — allow yourself to feel whatever it is that you’re feeling : cry - scream -laugh - smile .. let it out · process your feelings, the good and bad ones · try to understand them and try to work your way through them · journal daily · tell people how you feel and how they make you feel because keeping things like this bottled up isn’t good · be kind to yourself · be patient with yourself · know that your feelings are always valid and no one can ever tell you how to feel about something

physically — exercise · try yoga/pilates · drink enough water every day · try to eat breakfast lunch and dinner daily · brush your teeth in the morning and before bed · wash and deep condition your hair · don’t skip your skin care routine · get mani/pedis · practice good hygiene/shower regularly · moisturize your skin · get facials · get enough sleep · use sunscreen
