That said, I still enjoy the freedom of drawing whatever I want with the Fracture AU, so this felt like a nice compromise :)

⭐️ 5 Year Anniversary ⭐️

For the anniversary post, I’ve decided to redraw the first chapter of the AU! There are a few minor tweaks here and there, but nothing major that’ll change the overall story. Hopefully, I can eventually get around to recreating Chapters 2–9 as well, though that might take a bit—especially since I’m also trying to keep the comic moving forward overall!

Academy AU mini-comic part 1

An AU of Fracture where the gems go to academy— AU-ception 😵‍💫

Summary: Tangerine Pearl starts talking behind Lilac Pearl’s back, spreading rumors about her past and character. Lilac, obviously bothered by this, tries to avoid confrontation with Tangerine and not let the comments get to her. During lunch, Tangerine pours her drink on Lilac while mocking her misery and appearance. Suddenly, someone pours their drink on Tangerine. Repulsed and upset, she turns around to see who the jokers are, only to find Rose and Pearl standing over her, ordering her to leave Lilac alone while mocking her own miserable state for being petty. Outraged, Tangerine grabs Pearl by the collar of her shirt, prompting Rose to instinctively throw a punch at her face. Before the fight escalates, Heliodor, one of the student representatives and the designated hall monitor, steps in, shuts it down, and gives them detention.

💣Additional Cherry Quartz content 🍒

Cherry specializes in explosives. She is the embodiment of the "positive" qualities of her three components: being fun, loving, carefree, supportive, etc. She can also be overbearing and short sighted but also tries to make things a blast. Cherry Quartz would also inspire the Rebellion's laser light canons and more of the explosive weaponry.

(This last panel where Cherry is holding her light canon would be her "last stand" in a fight with Heliodor. This wouldn't have a big impact on Heliodor but would result in the destruction of the surrounding environment just like in Rhodonite's fight with Heliodor)
