Is this a controversial take? Maybe.

I dont like how people see Yuri and think he's acting incest-y to Yor— like???? Some of yall never get how intimate platonic relationship can be.

1) the pictures in his locker. They aren't even lewd pics or creepy shit, its just her smiling, think of it like in the simpsons when the dad (i forgor the name) put up pics of Lisa at work for motivation. "Do it for her"

2) possessiveness. Yor and Yuri grew up with no parents. in a rough situation. Yor stepped up to raise Yuri alone, working since very young and doing house chores (shared with Yuri, but still). Of course Yuri would get attached because Yor isn't just his sister, but also his mom, and just his everything throughout his life.

3) Yuri hasn't even once said creepy shit like commenting lewdly about her, or flirt (yall really gotta learn that appreciating someone's appearance could be platonic), never wanted to do.. weird things like kissing or more. When he got upset at the idea of Loid and Yor ever kissing or being intimate— see it like a lil boy being sad that his Mom remarried and.. ukno, knowing ur parents have sex sometimes be like :/ ew

Oh Thorn princess got herself a nemesis I see. But this bit has worries me a little bit .

And it’s mentioned before that in fandom Hemlock names have a reverse or translate to “killing brother”.

And I know that besides Forgers, now Yor has the main reason to protect. But for Yuri, he was the main reasons she starts this job. So her conflicts to sss, or even her member Gardern know this, will have a big trouble.

And yet, we just have ch. 114 focus on Briars siblings bonding too

Anyway someone in fandom take a correct theory about this flower connected to Damian’s group explores chapter. So it’s interesting this could lead for Anya’s origins,too. I wonder it’s the theory of this flower controlling ppl mind it’s true and the Shopkeeper really manage to protect this 🤔

Today's episode makes perfect sense, as it follows Yuri and Yor's episode and emphasizes the contrast by seeing the two siblings briefly discuss what they're doing or should be doing. We know Yuri's situation was presented in a more sinister way, and the fact that it's revealed in the next episode that their boss is linked to the Garden only increases the anguish the Briar siblings will have to feel when they realize who they were working for or discover they never avoided danger.

not to seem coy or anything, but i don't really have a favorite sxf character. at least, not one i'm conscious is my favorite, if that makes sense (pls tell me who you think it is lol bc i really can't tell). but! i'll go with yuri for this one because i've been rooting for him a lot recently ^^

7. what's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

i really like anything and everything about him as unkie yuri lol imo the best way to enjoy his petty and childish sides is when he has anya to bounce off of. it's also nice when fic make yuri the overprotective adult instead of loid, partly because it just makes more sense, mostly because it's a funny contrast from whenever yuri antagonizes her 😂 (linking here my fave fanart for them 1, 2)

8. what's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

i am not a fan of the incest allegations :) partly because they're wrong :) mostly because they reflect an unwillingness to engage with the text :) which actually depicts a complex relationship between brother and sister that is ultimately cheapened by accusing him of being an incestuous perv :)

26. what's something the character has done you can't get over? be it something funny, bad, good, serious, whatever?

i'm torn between him tutoring anya and actually taking it seriously and that moment when he almost caught twilight in the forger home. i like the first one because it's a glimpse of what a future where he gets along with the forgers looks like <3 the latter is more because that was lowkey very cool of him like let us all remember that this boy is sadly very good at his job when he's not being utterly pathetic about his sister and idk i really like it because it shows us parts of who he is outside of his relationship with yor. i really hope that sxf gets to explore that a little more, even if it's through short missions ^^

SpyXFamily scenario: Yuri’s on babysitting duty for Anya again. As expected, she immediately wants to watch Spy Wars, but Yuri refuses, muttering something about “pro-spy propaganda”. He starts flipping channels and stumbles upon a marathon of a foreign cartoon called Bluey.

Three hours later, Loid and Yor return home to find Anya fast asleep on the floor beside Bond, and Yuri in front of the tv, clutching a pillow, and crying.
