Matilda by Harry Styles is for queer kids struggling to see a future for themselves because of their family. It gets hard to think about flourishing as an individual when it's overshadowed by the complexities of an unaccepting family. Matilda gives you permission to let it go, let them go. It reminds you that it's not your fault. It tells you that you might still be a little bit dead inside after very long but there IS a future, there IS a way for you to live the life you deserved all along. I don't speak from experience but Matilda gives me the hope of an experience.

It has been two weeks I have seen banana boy

I can't not believe I saw harry two weeks ago. I am going to be super honest I had concert depression for 3 days. I had so much fun at his concert. I was in pit and seeing harry super close last time I saw him when he was in my hometown for up all night tour. I am super proud of him and seeing him accomplish bunch of things. I cried like baby when he sang to be so lonely even though he sang show before us. I cried when he sang falling and fine lines. To be honest harry is not my favorite one direction boy its Niall.( I love all boys equally but Irishman took my heart). Seeing harry dancing, smiling, and carrying pride flag made me cry of happiness. I am so freaking proud of him. I am supporting him and boys for 11 years and counting.

But i meant, i guess this means he was not there at least for the previous shows?

Louis was in LA on the 15th, according to that fan. If we believe that, then it’s entirely possible Louis was in Philadelphia on the 17th. It’s also possible he went back and forth between earlier shows and LA. He posted that photo at LAX on the 11th, so it’s possible he went to meet H in Dallas and came back to LA for some reason. The point is, we really don’t know. But Harry was talking a lot about going/being home while he was on stage in St Louis on the 15th and then he mentioned “home” 3 or 4 times in his speech in Philadelphia, and ended the night talking about how being with the people you love was the most important thing. So… 🤷🏻‍♀️

Louis is such a lil shit, he knows we don’t buy the whole “a wall is a wall” thing and loves to see us scrape for meaning in every single thing he does.

And I love him for that, I love it when a musician allows the art to speak, doesn’t need to be blunt, to explain it to everyone, lets the magic happen.

It reminds me of English lit teacher; once I wrote a poem he really loved, and my classmates were asking me to explain what it meant. He told me he didn’t want to hear it, bc it would interfere with his interpretation and it would loose its magic.

Ever since then I have so much respect for artist that don’t explain the meaning of their work, bc honestly I really wanted to explain my poem HAHAHAHAHA and just show everyone how deep and smart I was for writing it. But that was bc I didn’t trust my writing skills to speak for themselves. So I’m glad that Louis does, and gives us so many things to draw meaning from, so many clues, ester eggs, puzzles, key words, it’s so amazing and stimulating for the public.

(I do sometimes love to hear artists talk about their work and inspirations, but there’s so much bravery in just giving it to the people)

Louis’ works are so layered that he couldn’t really explain them in an interview anyway, and it’s much more interesting to unravel them slowly with the luxury of time.

Also, Louis has had the extensive experience of learning to express himself despite censorship. His gestures are wise and clever, full of double meanings. He really is an incredibly intelligent and entertaining person.
