If your favorite is from DR2 and died but came back at the end, still put that they are a victim or culprit. Also, for the sake of simplicity, consider everyone murdered a victim and everyone executed a culprit, even if Kaede was falsely executed.

What’s your take on what Tsumugi was lying about and what she was telling the truth about? I’m curious for your personal theories.
The most key thing to me when it comes to deciphering Shirogane's is Kodaka's "all the stories she tells in her Free Time Events are taken from real cosplayers. This was the first I interviewed people to create a character." comment. There was an out-of-the-ordinary level of effort to ensure Shirogane felt more real than the rest of the cast. It's that important to construction of V3 that she is the only real person in a fictional world.
With this (and by extension all of her Free Time) as the one truth I trust the most, it stands to reason that her memories were never altered. That's something easy to figure even without Kodaka's comment because her Free Time stories are very tangibly more mundane than anyone else's. And with her life being exactly as normal as she claims, the Cosplaycat Criminal bit has to be a lie. She doesn't have the wealth to afford to organize the killing game on her own.
Consequently, Team Danganronpa is real and so is the enshitification of the Danganronpa franchise. V3's commentary on the pernicious effects of capitalism on art is perhaps the message it's trying to convey the hardest, so this is pretty important to validate. The finer details about world peace don't need to be true, it's pretty reasonable to assume the turbo-capitalist entertainment network and its most loyal propaganda victim are ignoring some third-world country like the media does all the time. What matters is that the Danganronpa franchise pivoting into Ultimate Real Fiction after X many games is real. The audience would have left early if Shirogane was making up a long game release history for a franchise that only had 14 games or something.

that part in UDG after Toko and Komaru have their Big Emotional Reunion/Catharsis and then Komaru realizes she just acted Incredibly Homosexually and tries to play it off by saying she has lots of other friends so Toko shouldn't take it so seriously or w/e but Toko knows that there's no salvaging it so she's like hey don't ruin the moment we're faggeaux dude. we're faggeaux

absolutely love twogami and makis drs interaction cause it's set right after twogami comes out as the ultimate impostor so at one point maki gets really defensive about still keeping her real talent a secret and it's great
