Nonhuman expressions of affection are great. Purring. Exposing weak points as a show of trust. Head bonks. Preening and chewing. Nuzzling. Biting. Intertwining tails. Feeding each other. Little chuffs, chatters, beeps and squeaks. Fluffing up of feathers, fur or other things. Dancing to impress. Cleaning their fur, scales, feathers or skin. Sharing body heat. Ears pointing toward those you care about to show your full attention is on them. Slow blinking.

you guys know that the reason "nazi punks fuck off" was a phrase that was coined is because there were a lot of nazis in the punk scene. right. like that's why they have to say that. because there are nazis there...

like. "punk" does not necessitate being "progressive" or "radical" or "politically left" or whatever. plenty of "punks" have incredibly famously been literal actual nazis. when you say things like "you can't be punk and racist!" or whatever that is just like. factually untrue. because "punk" isn't a political movement it's just a Vibe and an Aesthetic and Music Scene. I'm sorry but the Revolution is not being fomented at basement shows.

*grabs your hands and speaks to you in a tone that is so gentle* they/them pronouns stop being universal once you learn a person's pronouns. Sometimes that person's pronouns will include they/them and in that specific case you are allowed to keep using those pronouns for that person. In any case where you learn a persons pronouns and that person doesn't use they/them, you should no longer use those pronouns for that person. If you continue to use they/them pronouns knowing that person doesn't use them, you are now misgendering that person. Kindly stop doing that please. Thank you, I love you.
