Exactly! So, we agree! There's only one canon writer and that's Masashi Kishimoto. Then if everybody's interpretation is fanon, what authority does readers have to point what is and isn't in-character?

Are you sure fan writers write fanfictions with the sole goal of appealing the general fandom and not because we're silly, curious maniacs who want to see characters WE (as in us writers first and foremost, not you readers) already love do things they'd never do in the original material and share them with friends or strangers who SHARE the same level of silliness and curiosity? If you don't like a fic, then you just don't share those levels and that fic is simply not made for you. And you go... whine about it? When it was never made for YOU? The entitlement lmaooo.

Unfortunately, I'm not even a canon writer in the Naruto fandom. And people who grit their teeth and moan sth about ooc or not in a fanfiction made to satiate the creator first and foremost, who also don't have the spine to write an in-character fanfiction themselves, are worse than pathetic losers. These characters don't belong to you either, just like point No. 2 I wrote above.

If you don't care about the Hinduphobic receipt, then the receipt is definitely not for you. They're made for people who care. Whilst you are definitely someone ignorant who cares more about fiction than reality.
