Cleopatra's Little Green-Eyed Monster (or, A Jealous Suitor)
More Freaks (1932) fanart
This time, it's Frieda getting upset at the fact that bitch Cleopatra stole away her beloved man. Looks like she'll need to get him back somehow.
Inspired by the wedding scene where they chant "Gooble Gobble"
Forgive the crappy big top background

*those skirts are such a puzzle mixed within an enigma wrapped inside a whatever for me I see so many widely different versions of the same design and I think I need to do more studies.

i love "davy jones' locker" as a euphemism for death and the mythological nautical grim reaper figure of davy jones because it's the most regular Just Some Guy name ever. like other sea monsters of legend all have intimidating, powerful sounding names like leviathan, hydra, scylla and charybdis, the kraken, cthulhu, etc., and then there's the literal concept of death himself, whose name makes him sound like someone's very spoiled housecat.
