Maybe, if he wasn't so tired he would have been able to escape, but that wasn't the case. The battle had exhausted him and he now found himself with his hands chained to a wall, above his head. He tried to fight a couple of times to free himself but it was impossible, continuing to try would only make him more tired, and then he would be completely out of the fight.

He only had one hope left, that one of his crewmates or someone was going to help him. Whoever. He just needed to be freed from those chains and he would swear by whatever it was that he would make whoever was responsible pay. As time passed, hopes faded, until he heard someone's footsteps.

"Here!" He mentioned, hoping that it really wasn't an enemy that was entering the prison and was someone willing to help. "Oh, hello, I have a problem here, do you think you can give me a hand?" He looked at the blonde, letting out a frustrated sigh.

"How do you expect me to calm down!?" Bellmere reproached, as she re-entered her house and began searching for her rifle. She had seen Arlong's entourage walking around the island as if nothing had happened, and the first (and only) thing she could think of was her daughters. Her hands didn't shake a bit, she was willing to do anything to protect them, even if her life depended on it.

Walking back out the front door, she was loading her rifle with ammunition before her eyes fell back on the rear admiral. "If Arlong appears threatening the girls, I will not hesitate to attack. I will give everything I have and what I don't have to protect them"

There was pain in her eyes, just thinking about the worst situation that could happen. No, she couldn't let Arlong hurt them. "Now if you allow me, I'll go look for my girls" she mentioned under her breath, as she headed to the center of town in search of the pair of girls

The agent remained silent while he patched her wounds. She sighed, somewhat deep in thought of how the hell she couldn't avoid that attack. At first, she was at the forefront of the fight, and without realizing it, she had received a direct blow to her legs that made her scream in pain.

Kalifa had to retreat and that was what bothered her the most about the whole situation. Why hadn't she used the devil fruit in time? Surely if she did it, now the result would be different. But there was no chance to continue torturing herself in vain.

Looking now at Leigh, she made a small grimace of reproach with her lips. "Thank you for this" she murmured, in a low tone that only the two of them could hear. "Where are my glasses?"

First, he swam in ice water. Then he lifted weights that were heavier than himself. Then he unsheathed his katanas and practiced moves with them. A short break to eat some onigiris that he brought with him, and then he went back to lifting weights, this time even bigger. Zoro was in the middle of training, but although he was very focused on what he was doing, he could notice that there was a person looking at him. He didn't care. He thought maybe she was passing through. However, upon noticing that she witnessed almost all of his training and was still there, he began to doubt if she was as harmless as she appeared.

"Oi, you've been here too long. What do you want? Or are you waiting for me to fight for a while?"
