How to get your life together : a guide

1) Make a list of goals you want to achieve, if you don’t you’re going to forget about them. It could be yearly goals, it could be monthly goals or both (even better). Just write them down and put them somewhere you can see them every day. Also don’t forget about the smart rule :
Specific (simple, sensible, significant).
Measurable (meaningful, motivating).
Achievable (agreed, attainable).
Relevant (reasonable, realistic and resourced, results-based).
Time bound (time-based, time limited, time/cost limited, timely, time-sensitive).
2) Choose habits which will lead your towards your goals. You want to be a the top of your class ? Start by actually completing your homework, assignments and by paying attention in class. You want strong and healthy hair ? Stop using heat every day and start a hair care routine. Yes, it is that simple trust me.
3) Starts adding those habits to your daily life and be realistic. For exemple, if you want to achieve your dream body start exercising and eating healthy. You want to keep those achievable and enjoyable : if you used to never step away from your couch for too long, you are not going to exercise 5 times a week right away. Start small, start with maybe twice a week and then add more when you feel ready.
4) Stop making excuses. You cannot reach your goals if you find excuses to stay home and do nothing such as « I will start on Monday » or « I am a bit tired today so I’ll just rest ». Don’t, if you really are motivated you will start right now and won’t skip your workout. The less you do, the less you wanna do.
5) Remind yourself why you wanna reach those goals and motivate yourself. You cannot solely rely on motivation, you have to create it yourself. Make vision boards of you dream life and ask yourself why you want to get out of your actual situation. If you already feel miserable and lazy in your every day life it won’t hurt to at least try, right ?
6) Enjoy the steps. That one is the most important. If you feel like completing a workout is torture, you will last a week or two tops. If doing your skin care or a daily walk feels boring, you will stop doing it. Try making those interesting by watching a movie or listening a podcast at the same time, find a workout you’re actually able to enjoy.
7) Finally : enjoy your results. If you’ve kept up the work for months, even weeks you will see them. People will start praising you about your hair, your skin… You will be able to see those changes yourself when you look at your body or at your grades. You will also be more confident because when you decide to put in the work and get results, you will be so proud of yourself I can assure you that.

Carolus Linnaeus- The Organizer
Carolus Linnaeus or Carl Nilsson Linnaeus, who was born in May 23, 1707 in Sweden, was a naturalist and an explorer laid the foundation for the modern scheme of taxonomy, and was known as the Father of Taxonomy. Linnaeus was the first to frame principles for defining natural genera and species of organisms and create a uniform system for naming them, known as binomial nomenclature.
Carolus Linnaeus organize the complex and complicated science of organisms. Carolus discovered and/or had formulated a functional system, that brought clarity and order to the scientific world. And that is the reason why I choose Carolus Linnaeus. He made it easier to name and classify and differentiate an organism to another organism.

Existence of Science and Religion

In the world of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, the science and religion are always, if not, sometimes contradicts each other, that causes conflicts between the two sides. Science, which is built on observation and reason, differs fundamentally from religion, which is established on authority. Religion deals with the spiritual secrets of existence, whereas science is concerned with matter and the physical world around us.
Science and religion are not at odds. However, to some, it may be a conflict to them. It may have affect their daily life and actions. A significant minority of individuals (38%) believe that science and religion are generally compatible, while the majority of Americans (59%) feel that science and religion are frequently at odds with one another. And that individuals with no specific religious affiliation or who are not religiously observant themselves are more likely to perceive religion and science as usually at odds. A quote from Russell M. Nelson, “There is no conflict between science and religion. Conflict only arises from an incomplete knowledge of either science or religion, or both.” Nelson may be right. If a person has an enough knowledge between the religion and science, he/she may understand the difference and the similarities that the two has. A person with incomplete knowledge may argue as he/she will only believe what he/she want to believe and would fight for that.
To some people, it is a conflict, as aforementioned above, and one of the best examples that science and religion are at odds is the Darwinian theory. Charles Darwin who was the author of the theory received criticism because his scientific hypothesis contradicted the biblical narrative of the earth's origin and man's fall. Some topics may also be a cause of conflict between the two, including climate change, and genetic modification. A person who relies on religious belief may say that climate change is natural, however, a scientist or a normal person who believes in science may say that climate change is due to human actions.
According to the author of “Angel and Demons” science and religion are not at odds. Science is simply too young to understand. Some may disagree to this statement, hence, people who understand the two sides may answer otherwise. Science and religion are not at odds, they are both use to understand, assess, and look into situations in different angles. However, a man who do does not know these will argue and will have a conflict on the opposite side.

Chart-Topping Space Images From 2019 You Won’t Want to Miss
From the first-ever image of a black hole, to astronaut Christina Koch breaking the record for the longest single spaceflight by a woman – 2019 was full of awe-inspiring events!

1. First-Ever Black Hole Image Makes History

In a historic feat by the Event horizon Telescope and National Science Foundation, an image of a black hole and its shadow was captured for the first time. At a whopping 3.4 million likes, this image takes home the gold as our most loved photo of 2019. Several of our missions were part of a large effort to observe this black hole using different wavelengths of light and collect data to understand its environment. Here’s a look at our Chandra X-Ray Observatory’s close-up of the core of the M87 galaxy with the imaged black hole at its center.
2. Hubble Celebrates 29 Years of Dazzling Discoveries


When you wish upon a star… Hubble captures it from afar ✨On April 18, 2019 our Hubble Space Telescope celebrated 29 years of dazzling discoveries, serving as a window to the wonders of worlds light-years away.
Hubble continues to observe the universe in near-ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared light. Over the past 29 years, it has captured the farthest views ever taken of the evolving universe, found planet-forming disks around nearby stars and identified the first supermassive black hole in the heart of a neighboring galaxy. 3. Stars and Stripes in Space for Flag Day


Patriotism was in the air June 14 for Flag Day, and coming in at number three in our most liked Instagram line up is a carousel of our stars and stripes in space! One of the most iconic images from the Apollo 11 missions is of Buzz Aldrin saluting the American flag on the surface of the Moon. But did you know that over the years, five more flags joined the one left by Apollo 11 – and that many other flags have flown onboard our spacecraft? 4. Spitzer Celebrates its Super Sweet 16!


Since 2003, our Spitzer Space Telescope has been lifting the veil on the wonders of the cosmos, from our own solar system to faraway galaxies, using infrared light! Thanks to Spitzer, we’ve confirm the presence of seven rocky, Earth-size planets, received weather maps of hot, gaseous exoplanets and discovered a hidden ring around Saturn. In honor of Spitzer’s Sweet 16 in space, enjoy 16 jaw-dropping images from its mission here.
5. Earth as Seen Through Our Astronauts’ Eyes Show Perspective Changing Views

“That’s here. That’s home. That’s us.” – Carl Sagan
Seeing Earth from space can alter an astronauts’ cosmic perspective, a mental shift known as the “Overview Effect.” First coined by space writer Frank White in 1987, the Overview Effect is described as a feeling of awe for our home planet and a sense of responsibility for taking care of it. 6. Astronaut Christina Koch Breaks Record for Longest Single Spaceflight by Woman


Astronaut Christina Koch (@Astro_Christina) set a record Dec. 28, 2019 for the longest single spaceflight by a woman, eclipsing the former record of 288 days set by Peggy Whitson. Her long-duration mission is helping us learn how to keep astronauts healthy for deep space exploration to the Moon and Mars. Congrats to Christina on reaching new heights! 7. Our Beautiful Planet – The Only Place We Know to Harbor Life – From Space


Earth is special. It’s the only place in the universe that we know contains life.
On July 7, 2019, two million people joined us in celebrating its beauty with a jaw dropping carousel of our home planet, as captured by crew members aboard the International Space Station. Bright blue oceans, glowing city lights and ice-capped mountain peaks come to life in a collection of breathtaking images, found here.
8. A Moon Even Sinatra Couldn’t Help But Sing About

Every 29 days our Moon turns over a new leaf, and on May, 18 we saw a very special one of its faces. Appearing opposite the Sun at 5:11 p.m. EDT, the world looked up to find a Blue Moon! Though the Moon didn’t actually look blue, the site of one is kind of rare. They occur on average about every two-and-a-half years when a season ends up having four full moons instead of three. 9. The Majesty of Hubble Imagery … From Your Backyard


On December 23, a new gallery of Hubble Space Telescope images highlighting celestial objects visible to amateur and professional astronomers alike was released. All of the objects are from a collection known as the Caldwell catalog, which includes 109 interesting objects visible in amateur-sized telescopes in both the northern and southern skies.
