I'm about halfway through The Pitt and honestly Collins is outright mean and dismissive to Robbie in a way that seems extremely inappropriate given not only their personal history but the fact that he remains her boss. She also dismisses their fling/relationship as insignificant even though it seems to be that personal history that allows her to have a more flexible working relationship with him.

Maybe I view it this way because we know the character isn't coming back, but I just don't think there was any future for those two. It's indicated that Robbie already half-raised a child of a former partner (who wasn't his biological child) who he accepted as his surrogate son: does he really want to do the same thing all over again while in his fifties? Factor that in with the abortion revelation and I just don't see any way a reconciliation wouldn't have been super messy. Honestly, if the show has a long life I would prefer that he ends up with someone his own age who wasn't looking to go through stages of life he's already experienced.

A patron came in to the library a few weeks ago looking for a copy of "The Tale of Peter Rabbit". She said she wanted to replicate Peter's coat for her daughter's rabbit. Library staff found her the book thinking she meant a stuffed rabbit. But, lo and behold, it was a real rabbit! Introducing... Melvin Rabbit!
