THE TRIOO IS ON! Rheycell, Leslie and Kyleee hereee~ On this Final blog, we will be discussing Adobe Softwares and its functions. We are Computer Programmer in Section Gutenberg and we focus on software editings. We’re not good enough at editings but Kyle here is kinda going onward through advanced editing skills. This blog covers all upcoming Senior High School Students. So lezz get started!

ADOBE SOFTWARES ARE COMPLICATED AT FIRST BUT YOU WILL BEAR THAT IF YOU SEARCH TUTORIALS ON YOUTUBE. FREQUENT USE OF THIS SOFTWARES WILL ALSO IMPROVE SKILLS IN EDITING.

 PREMIERE PRO

ICT Senior High School students will most likely to create short films and vlogs for their school activities. Adobe Premiere Pro is focused on editing videos like short films, vlogs, video documentations and among others. If you are beginner type, you can use Filmora as a starter pack for video editing.

ADOBE PHOTOSHOP

Layout editing will always be present in certain activities in Senior High School Curriculum. Adobe Photoshop will most likely to edit and manipulate your photos. It’s difficulty level would be Average for beginner users. It’s basically simple and fun if learn it well. You can just watch YouTube for tutorials.

ADOBE INDESIGN

Are you one of the Campus Journalism? If it’s yes, then are you familiar with formulating School Campus Papers? Okayy nevermind.

Adobe InDesign is an Adobe Software that let you edit your papers to print them. Booklets, Handbooks, Flyers, Brochure and etc. are an examples of papers that can be created in InDesign. This software functions the same with other Adobe Softwares. For starter pack, there is Microsoft Publisher.

That is all for nowww! We decided to share this softwares to let you know that Senior High School Curriculum now focuses on softwares. So yes, for those first timers, feel free to learn earlier rather than learn it while struggling with hectic School activities.

RESEARCH PAPER TRICKS

Hiii peopleee~ My name is Leslie and I’m about to share knowledge I’ve been having ride within this hell week of research papers in School. Activities to finish. Because I’m being devoured by Research Papers, I will be discussing about tricks on your research.

As you research the answers to the Topic questions, you can use the information two ways:

- If its from a non-computer source, you can use index cards to copy the information needed, or can type the information on a documents in Microsoft Word.

- Make sure you have a heading on the index card or word document so you know the topic or question you are answering with this information.

- Always SAVE any information you type into Microsoft Word! Make sure you save it to your number.. NOT to the computer you are working on. SAVE information frequently!

Plagiarism v. Paraphrasing Samples

Direct quote from research:

“Japan’s beautiful Mount Fuji last erupted in 1707 and is now classified as dormant. Dormant volcanoes show no signs of activity, but they may erupt in the future.”

Non-plagiarized paraphrase:

Mount Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan, is actually a dormant volcano. Dormant means that it is not active. The last time Mount Fuji erupted was in 1707, and there is always the possibility of a future eruption.

Direct quote from research:

“Three weeks after Katrina, warnings of the arrival of Hurricane Rita sent residents of cities such as Houston, Texas, rushing to evacuate, fearing for their lives. Fortunately, Hurricane Rita turned out to be much less severe than Katrina. However, mass evacuations like this bring hazards of their own, as panicking drivers may cause accidents on the jammed roads.”

Non-plagiarized paraphrase:

Short after Hurricane Katrina devastated the city of Houston, Texas, a warning for a new hurricane named Rita was broadcast, which caused many people to panic and flee the city. However, the mass departure of people leaving Houston at the same time could have caused many car accidents, even though the hurricane turned out to be not as dangerous as Katrina.

“How do I QUOTE an author?”

In other words, citation.

If you quote an author, insert “quotation marks” around the text you are using.

At the end of the quotation, parenthetical notations are needed.

Simply write the quote and then put the author’s name and page number:

          Example: (Williamson, 148)

You will cite the entire source when you get to the bibliography page of your paper.

Bibliography or Works Cited Page

At the end of your paper, you will include a bibliography or works cited page. This gives the authors of your sources credit for their work. In your packet, you will find the sample bibliography entries for various sources.

Sources should be in alphabetical order and double spaced.

PROOFREAD!!

Most importantly, before finishing your Research Papers, these are the questions that you might wanna ask for yourself in case you forgot something to input on that certain part.

Are all words spelled correctly?

Did I capitalize the beginning of each sentence and all proper nouns?

Did I punctuate correctly?

Do I use grammar correctly?

Did I answer all of the topic questions, and fulfill all of the requirements on my rubric?

Did I include an introduction and conclusion?

Did I type the paper using the correct font type, size, line spacing and margin requirements?

Did I paraphrase all content?

Did I use parenthetical notations for quotes?

Do my sentences make sense when read aloud?

Did I include a bibliography page?

WHAT LIES BEHIND AI

Back at it again mate! Hi, Kyle here. On this onward, I decided to share my Topic in Practical Research. It’s all about ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. I formulated this blog to share ideas and awareness among people who are using Technology nowadays.

WHAT IS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE?

Artificial intelligence (AI) makes it possible for machines to learn from experience, adjust to new inputs and perform human-like tasks. The theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages.

HOW DOES AI WORK?

Artificial Intelligence works with a built-in neural network. It is a network or circuit of neurons, or in a modern sense, an artificial neural network, composed of artificial neurons or nodes.

Under Neural Network, there are 2 subsets of Artificial Intelligence which measures the level of intense potential:

1. MACHINE LEARNING

Machine Learning is the scientific study of algorithms and statistical models that computer systems use to effectively perform a specific task without using explicit instructions, relying on patterns and inference instead. It is seen as a subset of artificial intelligence.

2. DEEP LEARNING

Deep learning is part of a broader family of machine learning methods based on learning data representations, as opposed to task-specific algorithms. Learning can be supervised, semi-supervised or unsupervised.

TYPES OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE?

Nowadays, our technologies and gadgets has its own Artificial Intelligence. In case you don’t know, your mobile smartphone has artificial intelligence inside too. Siri on your iPhone is an example of an AI. Cortana of Microsoft in Windows 10 is also an AI. To elaborate the types of it, it also measures the level of capabilities on these types of AI.

NARROW AI

It is the first level of AI and it is also known as the “Weak AI” refers to AI which is able to handle just one particular task.

ARTIFICIAL GENERAL INTELLIGENCE

Artificial general intelligence (AGI) is the intelligence of a machine that could successfully perform any intellectual task that a human being can.

Example: Disney’s Wall-E

ARTIFICIAL SUPERINTELLIGENCE

Artificial superintelligence is a term referring to the time when the capability of computers will surpass humans.

Example: Ultron from Avenger’s Age of Ultron

PROS AND CONS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

ADVANTAGES

No Breaks

Artificial Intelligence are programmed for long hours and can continuously perform without getting board or distracted.

Engage Difficult Tasks

AI and the science of robotics can be put to use for exploring the ocean floor and hence overcome the human limitations.

Error Reduction

AI helps us in reducing the error and the chance of reaching accuracy with a greater degree of precision is a possibility.

DISADVANTAGES

High Cost

Creation of A.I. requires huge costs as they are very complex machines. Their repair and maintenance require huge costs.

Unemployment

Robots will eventually replace humans in every field of such jobs. People will be left with nothing to do so.

Destruction

Machines won’t think before acting. Thus, they may be programmed to do the wrong things, or for mass destruction.

MOST HONORABLE MENTION OF K-DRAMA IN 2016

Heyyy wazzupp fellow K-drama lovers~

First of all, allow me to introduce myself. Hi, my name is Rheycell or you can call me “Cell”. I am about to recommend you the Top 5 Honorable Mention of K-Drama in 2016 and it was an exceptional year for all Korean drama lovers. There are many unforgettable series aired that year. But which of those shows stood out the most? Let's find out!

DESCENDANTS OF THE SUN

Descendants of the Sun is a must-watched K-drama wayback in the year 2016. This is one of the best K-drama all among others. Their storyline is unique and while watching this show, you’ll probably feel like you’re riding a vehicle that is going high and low. In other words, you’ll feel laughter, sadness and suspense. This is a love story between Captain Yoo Shi Jin, Korean Special Forces, and Doctor Kang Mo Yeon, surgeon at Haesung Hospital. Together they face danger in a war-torn country.

LEGEND OF THE BLUE SEA

Starring by the most popular and handsome Korean actor, Lee Min-ho. Legend of the Blue Sea is fantasy story which is most likely the same concept of “The Little Mermaid” in Disney but this K-drama is way more awesome because of it’s storyline which focuses on reminiscing the memories of Joon-jae’s ancestor in the past.

LET’S FIGHT GHOST

Let’s Fight Ghost is a very sweet, romance, especially comedy and somehow horrific in a weird way Korean TV show. Their storyline focuses on paranormal concept.  Park Bong-pal has grown up with the ability to see ghosts. He uses his power to work as an exorcist and then he found Kim Hyun-ji, the wandering spirit who died when she was 19 years old.

W - TWO WORLDS

LEE JONG-SUKKK OMGGGG!!

Related to Kyle’s previous blog so-called “Webtoon”, W - Two Worlds is a fantasy Korean TV show where a webtoon of Oh Seong-moo became a living universe in the real world. “Two worlds” which is the real world and the webtoon or W world.  Entry to the webtoon world can be through Seong-moo's magical tablet, or upon a summoning from the webtoon world or from W's main character Kang Chul (Lee Jong-suk). This K-drama is definitely one of the best recommendation so you might wanna watch this if you love the world of fantasy and fiction.

WEIGHTLIFTING FAIRY KIM BOK-JOO

CUTENESS ROMANCE OVERLOAD!

Weighlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo is the Top K-Drama’s most honorable mention in 2016! AAAND THAT IS A FACT! Starring Lee Sung-kyung in the title role. It is a coming-of-age sports drama, inspired by the life of Olympic gold-medalist Jang Mi-ran. Heyyy, you definitely watch this because of its cute romance. Laughter, sadness and the feeling of happiness of its cute romance. Lastly, did you know that the couple actress in the TV show became a couple in real life. Swaeeggg~

NON-STOP WEBTOONS TO READ

Scrolling all the way down just to see any latest news? Isn’t that what you’re doing right now? Welp, I guess you are. Why not try reading something vibrant pages and fascinating stories? In this section, we will be introducing some of our WEBTOON recommendations to read.

But first of all, allow me to introduce myself. Hi fellow nerds, my name is Kyle Ace but in short.. you can call me Kairu! (Kinda, weeb -.-). Actually, I’ve created this account for almost 4 years ago and I noticed that features here in Tumblr is getting more improvised and even better.

So anyways, let’s get back to business.

I’m really committed on reading something fictional when I was a kid and still remains even though I am prepared going to college. But hey, reading is my past time activity when boredom strikes. So yes, it’s time to recommend!!

NOBLESSE

Are you familiar with stories of a clash between vampires and werewolves? Like from the Underworld? and Dracula stories? So if you do, you won’t be expecting much vampires and werewolves here in this webtoon but NOBLESSE also depicts the same concept in it.

WEBTOON SYNOPSIS

Within an abandoned building in South Korea lies a white coffin, from which rises Cadis Etrama Di Raizel "Rai"—an unimaginably beautiful, dignified, and noble man. Awakening in this unknown time, Rai must seek out someone he can trust—his loyal companion, Frankenstein. To begin with, Rai attempts to blend into human society by transforming his old-fashioned clothing into the pristine blazer of the nearby Ye Ran High School. As it turns out, the principal of the school is his servant Frankenstein.

My synopsis can be huge spoiler for the first part of the story and for those who will be reading this Webtoon but if you read it more deeper, more stories to come upon this Webtoon. The Webtoon itself is already completed so feel free to read them all at once. I recommend this one because if you are onto action-stories, you’ll definitely feel thrilled due to their overpowered beings.

SOLO LEVELING

Sword Art Online? Log Horizon? Overlord? Have you ever watched those Anime? It seems familiar because they manifest the same concept of going into the virtual world. Well, this webtoon also showcases the same concept of story like them but there are little differences between those 3 Anime that I mentioned.

WEBTOON SYNOPSIS

In this universe, about 10 years ago in events that are still unclear, "The Gate", something that connected our world and the monster world, was opened. As a consequence, a fraction of ordinary people gained powers to hunt these monsters within the gate. These people became known as "Hunters".

The main character, Sung Jin-Woo, was an ordinary ranker, with handicapped abilities that gave him the title of "World's Weakest Hunter". Because the expedicion on a strange dungeon, Sung Jin-Woo went through terrible trials and in the end he received a strange and special power. A quest Log that only him could see and a system that enables him to train and gain experience by fighting monsters and other humans. It turns out that the World’s Weakest Hunter became something even stronger.

I highly recommend this webtoon because it also gives you a hyper feels here. This webtoon is a newly release since Winter 2018. The synopsis I gave is enough to indulge you to read. I won’t say much more but this is one of the very best “different world” story.

THE LEGENDARY MOONLIGHT SCULPTOR

oof~ I think I have repeated my recommendation here. Oof!

The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor also shares the concept of going into the virtual world. (Yes, it’s the same with the Solo Leveling)

WEBTOON SYNOPSIS

The story focuses to a man named, Lee Hyun, who is a slave to money. He was formerly known as the legendary God of War of the highly popular MMORPG, Continent of Magic. In an attempt to help his debt-ridden family, he auctions his character to find it sell at ₩3.1 billion. An unfortunate run-up with loan sharks causes Lee Hyun to lose almost all of his money, however. This caused him to step into the new era of gaming led by the first-ever Virtual Reality MMORPG, Royal Road, to help his ailing grandmother and save enough for his sister's future college tuition.

Lee Hyun led his journey through learning all types of activities that’ll give him benefit and also, he is a strategic player. I recommend this webtoon because of him going uniquely on his journey. This webtoon is popular wayback 2017 but the popularity goes down because last season ended and up until now there are no updates. But still, even though it’s a 4/5 Ratings.. I still recommend it because of challenges and fun in this storyline.
