Can’t stop thinking about how Noah Schnapp won the people’s choice awards for best male tv star. I mean, think about it ... an actor who plays a canonically gay character won against big-name actors like Dwayne Johnson, Ewan McGregor, and Oscar Isaac. Will’s monologue, where Noah portrays such a beautiful, genuine, and real depiction of queer love, was broadcasted on national television and for all the hollywood elite to see. And then, Noah makes a heartwarming speech where he speaks of Will with such care and fondness, and emphasizes the multifaceted nature of his character. The sensitivity and tenderness in which Noah talks about and depicts Will is so heartwarming, especially to those of us who are queer and see ourselves in Will’s character. Noah’s win wasn’t just a big deal to his fans but also a huge step in queer media representation as a whole.
